Previously had laser surgery at optical express in 2012 but since 2020 I have been back to wearing varifocals so decided to take the plunge and have lens replacement. I went for multi focal lenses and had the surgery on a Friday afternoon 5 weeks ago at the Nottingham site. Whole procedure went well and my eyesight is now better than 20-20 and I am now glasses free. I felt comfortable driving 2 days after surgery and used the provided eye drops as directed for 28 days and have had no issues at all, thanks to all the team at Nottingham.

Joined this PureGym online at the…

Joined this PureGym online at the weekend, only took minutes to sign up and I booked my induction online for 08:30 Monday morning.
Great range of equipment which was well explained during my induction.
The venue is very clean, you access via the app or your pin and can even access 24 hrs a day if you work shifts.
I took on the off peak membership at less than £18 per month and think it’s great value.

Ohme EV Charger Install

Jason called me on the morning of my planned install of an Ohme EV charger to confirm he was en route and would be with me in around 50 minutes. Install was carried out in a couple of hours with minimal disruption and Jason took the time to explain and set up the app for me. Very happy with the service I received.

I ordered two items costing a total of…

I ordered two items costing a total of around £14 for next day delivery, paid £6.95 for this. When dispatched it was by everi, thought maybe they would use a decent company for that price line DPD. Got a message today saying estimated delivery of 14:00 to 15:00 so booked afternoon of work. Just received message at 15:45 saying they can’t deliver today now so will try again tomorrow 😫

I booked my annual service for AM and…

I booked my annual service for AM and arranged to be off work that morning, on previous years you got a text the afternoon or evening before with estimated time. Today i had email saying engineer would be in touch shortly with estimated time. As I hadn’t heard anything by 18:30 I went on the chat and was told I was an all day appointment, then told I was an AM appointment once I challenged this, but then told engineers don’t schedule till the morning as they do repairs and my appointment isn’t guaranteed for AM😫
ps. After my disappointment with the whole online chat function which I’m guessing was being dealt with by someone who doesn’t work for BOXT as they didn’t know how the service operates, I actually received a text at 20:10 from the engineer Brandon with an ETA of between 08:00 and 09:00. He turned up as planned and did an excellent job, as usual from this company, it’s the online chat feature which needs more training for the operators.
