Disappointed with delivery and product
Delivery manager called to say my wardrobes could not be delivered as the loading bay outside my place was full, so the lorry had driven off. I saw the lorry pull into a road nearby so managed to persuade the person on phone to call them and make the drop but only after several attempts. The guy that delivered it was great. But one of the flat packed wardrobes came in damaged packaging, and inside the wardrobe has a scuffed edge and is missing the necessary bag of screws etc: it may have been a return from another customer but wasn’t checked before it was sent to me. I decided to keep it as need to assemble it asap but was told missing kit would take a week to arrive. Again, I argued this wasn’t acceptable and so they said it would arrive in 2-3 days. I’ve been refunded £6.95 delivery charge so far, and was promised £30 would be refunded as a gesture of good will. This arrived as a gift card to use on Argos brands.
