This was a major installation of a completely new heating system in a fully occupied house so I was prepared for some inconvenience but I found the changing team of plumber, electrician, insulation installers, joiners … were focused on the work, respectful of my privacy and careful with my furniture. The technology involved being new and technically advanced, I was apprehensive for the outcome but I was impressed by the expertise of the workforce and the follow-up, which I expect to be making further use of.

Arrived on time. Fitting was a little tricky (at first I thought I’d been sent the wrong model) but after a few pauses for thought it went in right and tight.

Hob filter was perfect fit (confounding my fears) and is now installed and working.

A H Maintenance responded quickly to our post and once we’d decided to go ahead was at work within a few days. Alvin worked quickly and quietly and the job was done within a day and a half. A reasonable price, we thought, and we will b engaging him to do another job quite soon.

Although I had to return the slippers, I was pleased by the presentation and the no-fuss refund.
Having read the comments I see that”too narrow” occurs quite often. That was my brother’s (for whom I bought them) verdict too, even though they were described as wide-fitting. Could it be because they are made in Italy. As someone who lived in Italy for some time, I did notice that the Italian shoe last was generally narrower than an English one. Maybe a German or Dutch last would be worth a look?
