Scam website. Notice not a single good reviewer has other reviews of other businesses
All 5 star reviews are so clearly fake
Review of dublinnails.com
*Editing my 5 star review which i left 2 years ago because today, I've just had the worst possible customer experience in my life with Cameron the Manager of the wicklow street branch.
I had an appointment for 3pm and i emailed at 11am the morning of my appointment to ask for a cancellation due to illness in my family. I never got a response so at 2pm I phoned and spoke with Cameron. She told me there was nothing she could do and the full fee would be taken.Naturally i was quite distressed by this.I fully understand the need for this in case of a no show because a technician has been freed up and walk ins potentially turned away etc but manager discretion should be applied depending on circumstances and notice given.
Ive been a customer for over 7yrs.a loyal customer due to the excellent service in the past which naturally has made me want to return and i have never used any other company to get my nails done. Have defo made a cancellation before too.
Cameron really did not handle the situation professionally whatsoever. The goal posts kept moving on what could be done for me.
After a few minutes credit could be applied to my next appointment. Then it was credit could be applied and i would receive 40% off. I cant afford to take credit presently.
She was very scripted in her responses repeating that she would have to charge me.She tried to sound sympathetic but stuck to the script that nothing can be done. I asked if there had been a death in my family would she still be applying the policy with such an iron fist approach. She avoided my question.
I repeatedly argued that i felt this was completely unfair and if someone has a family emergency why would you charge them especially given i had given as much notice as possible (4 hours) considering the circumstances.
I explained that a Manager always has the power to use discretion and nothing is that out of somebody's control.(I am in retail management myself so I have come up against many different scenarios like this)
She would still have to physically charge my card something she could choose not to do and again i asked what if there had been a death? She said in the case of a death of course she wouldn't charge me.
I was extremely upset explaining its something I'll need to warn people about then.I am fully prepared to escalate this on principle and would be telling as many people i could about how atrocious this is.One of the reasons given was because Nails is extremely busy because of the Christmas period but the Christmas period is now over and by that logic if given 4hrs notice then there would be no loss to revenue seeing as Nails is "so busy". Im sure a walk in would be delighted with my time slot.Eventually she said she would endeavour that my card be refunded today.I corrected her because my understanding was that my card hadn't yet been charged. She looked it up said something to the effect of that's right and then told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone on me.A little while later i checked my banking. €78.50 had been taken from my account at 2pm according to the details on the transaction.Naturally I rang Cameron straight back. She proceeds to tell me that it was automatic because of no show as if she had nothing to do with it.I didn't accept this.Firstly it was 14:40pm by this point so how could i have been automatically charged for a no show if my 3pm appointment hadn't come around yet? She kept repeating its an automatic charge and she was sorry but best she could do was refund me 50%! I asked her "how are we having this conversation again?" because our last call ended in her explicitly telling me i was going to be refunded /not charged at all so essentially this had been resolved. She then told me to call back when i had calmed down!! And hung up!I think i had every right to dispute this but was by no means being in anyway abusive But to keep changing the outcome is only going to escalate the situation for a customer. She told me i wouldnt be charged at the end of our first call and then did it anyway and changed her script again. €80 gone 😔

Hasnt arrived and no reply yo my email i sent this morning, its now passed 6pm so plenty of time to respond. I read the reviews before buying about delays even if having paid for express shipping, but as i am in ireland and the eu, i thought id give them the benefit of the doubt.i made my purchase on 1st march. So i paid the extra for shipping with the eta of 11th March (today). This is meant to be a gift from my baby son to my partner, his dad, for his dads birthday on the 15th which is Tuesday. Unfortunately it has not arrived and id have held off on panicking as we still have 2 business days till his birthday if it wasnt for the tracking info... It doesnt look like it has left dhls warehouse in Germany ?? The track and trace runs cold on the 8th. Surely in 3 days it should have moved but theres no info. So im doubtful and disappointed because frankly you should not charge extra, and its a significant jump in cost too... If you are not going to fulfill the order on time. Its bad service. I actually bought something else the samw day from a danish company directly and they use dhl and the eta was the same, the 11th...and today it arrived!! Exactly on time. So this cant be a dhl issue surely?? I dont know frankly but i have emailed for clarity and nobody got back to me which is even worse.

Ive been trying to engage on the customer chat portal and have been ignored. A member of the team came online saw my question and then left. Ive checked back and its sgating5the chat has ended.
So, i bought tickets too hastily yesterday when fever advertised the ad for the van gough expo in dublin coming in May. I bought 2 tickets for 2nd May and i can see the whope calender month of may is open for tickets and filling up fast amd selling out... However i have seen discovered the event does not actually open to the public until 16th May at the RDS. Soooo... Ive been sold tickets for the 2nd of May... 2 wreks before the event opens. I regret being to quick when i realise now going through ticket master which brings you to the actual event organisers web page is a far safer route. But im being ignored on the chat portal. Avoid avoid avoid guys. This is clearly a scam.
Edit to be clear.
My first chat i gave a run down of the issue and someone logged on and saw my message then logged off. The chat then timed out and i was informed this chat has ended.
The second chat i open i asked for help and waited a minute or two then put my phone down and then by the time i came back to it less than 5 mins after id been shut down again.
If you dont respond to chats within a minute you are informed the chat is ending so they can deal with others in the Q. That is infuriating as there is no chance to respond and then the chat box is wiped. Any others customer service chat rooms always ask if there is anything else that they can do or answer before closing it down.
So yes eventually i got through to someone who tried to make me feel like an idiot by proclaiming "we are not ticketmaster, we are fever" sorry but how cheeky can you actually get. Im sure people can understand when an event doesn't disclose its location but then you see an identical event being advertised elsewhere through ticketmaster and its for different dates it doesnt fill the buyer with confidence they havent been scammed. To be honest i felt gas lit during the "chat" and not reassured at all

Really quick service, quality was excellent. Our invites and place names which we had made for our baby's naming day ceremony celebrations were perfect. Website was very easy to navigate and edit design etc. Would use again and recommend, especially for the fast delivery

I ordered trainers on Friday which were due to be delivered at the earliest today, which is still very good! I went on to track them and I see that I apparently signed for them yesterday! No neighbours have handed them in and I trust all of them as we often take packages for eachother. No calling card to say they tried to deliver. Nothing behind my bins. Just that they were delivered yesterday and received by my name. No address given. If they were handed into a neighbour why would they use my name as the receiver. I've been in touch with the company I bought from who have been lovely so far and are looking in to it but I fear they have been essentially stolen. Such horrendous behaviour from a courier company
