Post Office Pet Insurance are the best!!

Our experience with Post Office has been absolutely fantastic since the start. We’ve been with them for a few years now. Unfortunately, recently we had to make a big claim for our poorly dog. They’ve paid out instantly with no questions asked. With what has been the most stressful and extremely upsetting time, they have made us feel at ease when it’s come to the finance side of things. There’s been no hassle at all (which is very unusual for a pet insurance company - we have experienced this with our previous dog and another insurance company).

We’ve recommended Post Office to our family and friends as they have been the best.

We’ve renewed our policy with them again for next year and will continue to do so throughout the remaining years of our dog’s life.

If you are thinking of a pet insurance company - Post Office is the one! We also highly recommend everyone has pet insurance as you honestly never know when something bad might happen.

Our local delivery guy is the best!

Our local delivery guy is the best! We cannot fault him one bit! He delivers to our home frequently. You hear all these horror stories about Evri, but honestly our delivery guy is great. We’ve never ever had any issues with him. We are blessed to have him and have told him he’s never ever allowed to leave! :)

Great! No issues! Fab experience!

I had a really bad experience with Matalan back in 2022, it was a serious headache and I had to jump through hoops in order to get a refund after a complete shambles with my order. Everything and anything that could have gone wrong did.

However I decided to give Matalan another chance a few years later in 2025 and I haven’t had any issues since *touch wood*. I’ve placed a few orders since my bad experience and they’ve all arrived (on time, great condition and nothing has been missing). Matalan have redeemed themselves. I don’t know what happened back in 2022 but I think there has now been a turning point and they seem to be back on track.

I do believe companies deserve second chances where previous mistakes have been made. In this case it’s paid off. I will keep on ordering from Matalan as I do love the products they offer.

Amazing!!

Amazing company! This company is the best delivery service I’ve ever received from a business. I’ve never heard of them before until I placed an order with The Range for a very large and heavy mirror. I was nervous at first as I’ve never heard of them and didn’t know what to expect.

I received emails keeping me up to date on the delivery process. I received a text message and email with the date it was going to be delivered, and asked if I could respond saying if this was suitable or not and if not they would re-schedule.

A time-slot was provided with the time they would deliver on the specified date. The delivery person even phoned me and left a voicemail message stating they were 10 minutes away. The delivery person was extremely friendly and helpful, placed the mirror in our garage without any questions asked. The mirror was delivered in perfect condition.

Fab company! Hope to come across them again in the future and if so will be very pleased as they are great! No issues at all!!

Great experience from start to finish

We have just travelled with National Express. They were amazing, everything from being punctual, politeness, friendliness of the drivers to the cleanliness of the coach. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The onboard toilet was working, fully stocked with toilet roll, clean, tidy with hand soap and hand dryer. USB ports to charge phones and fold down trays. Both journeys outbound and inbound were punctual departed and arrived on time. The air conditioning was amazing as it’s been very warm the past two days. The pricing was unbelievably affordable compared to train prices. This was our reason for travelling with National Express, however they didn’t shy from quality neither. No faults at all with either of our journeys outbound and inbound. We would travel with National Express again without hesitation. Thank you for such pleasant journeys.

Please provide feedback to both coach drivers as they really deserve it. NX 403 - Outbound - Bath Bus Station to London Victoria Coach Station (06.45am - Thursday 29th May 2025). Inbound - London Victoria Coach Station to Bath Bus Station (12.30pm - Friday 30th May 2025).

Awful quality and massively disappointed

I recently ordered from two different companies for wedding prints. This one and another one being Snapfish. I received my first order today with Photobox and the quality was absolutely horrendous. To the point where I was nearly in tears looking at the quality of my wedding photos. The prints were on a horrible bit of thick paper - just like normal printer paper but thicker not even photograph paper. The quality of the prints was awful, the photos had a purple tinge all over them and they were supposed to be black and white. I compared them to the prints I received from Snapfish and they were poor, very very poor. Snapfish’s quality was absolutely amazing.

I give the customer service team top marks as they were quick to rectify the issue and issued me a full refund. However it shouldn’t have come to this. The prints were very expensive compared to Snapfish and there was no quality at all in comparison. I even showed these to two different people comparing the two orders and they were shocked and said Photobox quality was awful. Unfortunately this has put me off this company and I won’t be ordering from them again. Now I’m awaiting a full refund into my account.

The reason why I didn’t order these exact prints from anywhere else was due to measurements.

I don’t need a reply from the company as it’s already been rectified but I’m just making people aware as this was an upsetting experience. I’ve given two stars as the customer service team was fab, but the quality of the prints deserves not even a 1 star!!!

I gave Dusk a second chance and it’s paid off!!

About four years back I placed an order and it didn’t go to plan and I was left disappointed. However I decided to give them a second chance as I wanted some cushion covers advertised on their website.

I was extremely happy this time and with the process. The order I placed went through smoothly. I was kept up to date on the shipping process throughout. Delivery was extremely quick and I ordered over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The items arrived in perfect, brand new condition and delivery was quick. The cushion covers are absolutely stunning and amazing quality. They were actually very reasonably priced compared to a lot of places for cushion covers only. I’m so pleased I took the risk and purchased these. Things couldn’t have gone better this time. I feel it’s best to be honest if you receive a good or bad experience but the good experiences should be noted also.

Parcel arrived 3 days late and damaged goods

Firstly my parcel arrived three days after paying for next day delivery. Secondly the parcel arrived completely damaged with the contents inside just thrown in, inside a plastic bag. No care was taken to package these items properly. Products had broken and leaked over other products ruining them. I ordered artificial flowers and they had filthy marks all over them. It’s not acceptable.

I have emailed customer services with photos as evidence and I am awaiting a response. Online shopping is supposed to be hassle free which in this case it has been not. This is the second order I have placed with The Range and the second time I’ve had issues. The first time the issues were rectified. I thought this was a one off incident not to happen again but I was wrong.

Faulty Uggs, Customer Services useless and returns process rubbish!!!

This has been an absolute nightmare. Order process was smooth and the delivery time was extremely quick. However I have received faulty Uggs. I emailed customer services who are completely useless and just guided me to follow the returns process online. What isn’t made clear is you need a printer which I don’t have access to and I’m sure a lot of people don’t. This is to print the returns label and the returns slip to put inside the parcel. I don’t see why it can’t be done through a QR scan code and printed at the post office like every other company does or is Ugg so far behind in the times of their processes? Also printing a returns form is ridiculous this should be done online automatically it’s just wasting paper.

What makes this frustrating is they sent me faulty Uggs and now I’m having to try and sort this out. It’s an absolute joke.

I won’t order from Ugg again due to the incompetency of the company. Making customers go out of their way to return faulty goods and go around the houses to get this sorted!!!!

Faulty Uggs - Logo is damaged and looks like someone else’s return. Suede is all scuffed and looks scruffy!! Not the high quality you’d expect from Ugg for the high prices!!! Not up to standard!!!

Order not received - no communication - Facebook page has been removed - AVOID SUSPICIOUS

My partner ordered a hoody back on 27th November for my Christmas present. No emails to say this has been dispatched. Was promised a 14 business day delivery time. Nothing. No hoody and no communication. Tried reaching out to them via email and no response. A claim has now been escalated with PayPal to get a full refund. Also what is suspicious is the Facebook page has now been removed where people were questioning where all their orders were. The entire page has been removed. It also states this company is based in the UK which is a lie it’s not it’s coming from abroad. A very dodgy company if I’m being honest. It’s a shame though cause from the pictures people have posted who have been lucky to receive their hoodies actually look really good. However who’s to say these are genuine reviews or not?! Untrustworthy and that’s why I’m leaving 1 star, although they deserve zero stars!! If you are thinking of ordering from this company then AVOID at ALL COSTS!!!

Where do I start? Don’t bother absolute shambles

Where do I start?! By looking at the reviews on here I should have thought twice about ordering online with Matalan although I’ve never had an issue until now.

Firstly before my items were dispatched I received an email to say quite a few things were out of stock and they were refunding me although the website showed the items to be in stock so this was annoying.

My two parcels were supposed to be delivered on Sunday 16th October then it got delayed until Monday 17th October. I thought ok these things happen. One parcel arrived on Monday 17th October in the morning by EVRI. When I called Matalan chasing my other items they said a second parcel was being delivered that day. This is when it started to take a downhill turn. EVRI couldn’t get to my address ‘apparently’ and took a random picture of a random road that wasn’t even my road. EVRI have delivered to my address multiple times in the past (including that morning) and there has NEVER been an issue before getting to my address I just live in a normal street which is clearly visible on maps. I’ve even gone onto the EVRI chat and asked them what the issue with the address is and nothing, no response nothing!!

I called Matalan on Tuesday 18th October to see what was going on to be told that my parcel would be delivered on this date and there was an issue with the delivery driver getting to my address. Apparently the driver was 400 metres away and it was 4.50pm so I reckon it was home time and they couldn’t be bothered to deliver it so decided to take a random road picture and finished for the evening!!! I phoned Matalan 4 times!!!! On Tuesday 18th October and was PROMISED my parcel would be delivered!!!! Absolutely nothing!!!!

I called Matalan customer service team on Wednesday 19th October and they have fobbed me off saying my parcel is under review and I’ve checked the tracker and it’s just stuck in the status of the driver couldn’t get to the address with a random road picture!! It’s so frustrating!! No one can help or update me!!

I won’t be shopping with Matalan again this has completely put me off and has caused me nothing but stress where online shopping is supposed to be hassle and stress free! I’ve had to go through PayPal to set up a dispute to get a full refund as I’m convinced my parcel is either lost or damaged and will be returned to Matalan I won’t see sight of it now. Absolutely furious!!!

Matalan has responded to my PayPal dispute saying my parcel was delivered. Completely laughable!!! No, only one parcel was delivered and my second parcel is missing. This company is a joke it goes from bad to worse.

I will not arrange for a collection from my address as according to the tracker EVRI had issues getting to my address to deliver my second parcel so how are they going to find my address to collect the parcel? My nearest Matalan store is a long distance away and this is why I have ordered online for ease and convenience. But this hasn’t been the case it’s been an absolute nightmare!!! Which I won’t be repeating with Matalan!!!!

My regular EVRI driver delivered a parcel to my address today from a different company. No issue finding my address cause he KNOWS my address well as he always delivers here regularly and he is super!! We had a chat regarding this issue. I thought he’d left the company but thank god he’s still here cause he is actually reliable!! Monday when this happened he wasn’t working that’s why I thought he left cause this would never happen with him about!! I’m starting to think this is a Matalan issue and not an EVRI issue as it’s a too far common occurrence as per the other reviews. I just thought I’d add that to this review. Whether the person who stepped in for him messed up I don’t know….but he said if the parcel was unable to be delivered it would have been put back on his round on Tuesday so there’s something seriously odd and strange going on here. But I have complete faith in my usual EVRI delivery driver as he has been delivering every single parcel to my address since I’ve lived here and not once has one gone missing until now when he wasn’t working!!

Update 27th Oct: Had to make a full claim back through PayPal and they have refunded my money. Matalan have done nothing to help locate the parcel. Not interested. I’ve returned the first parcel received and now I’m waiting for my refund for this item. If I don’t get a refund within the 14 days as promised I will be going back to PayPal and re-opening another dispute with them. Matalan you are appalling and I will NEVER order from you again.

RUSTY velvetiser after 10 uses!! - think before purchasing!

UPDATED review 26 September 2022 - My original review was left in December 2020 off the back of a Christmas present and I left 5 stars. However if I could now change my review to ZERO stars I would!! I received a velvetiser as a gift in December 2020 and was extremely pleased with it at the time and the quality of hot chocolates available. The velvetiser has been used a maximum of 10 times and has been cleaned following the instructions on the website. It hasn’t been used a lot at all and if anything it’s just pretty to look at. It’s extremely well looked after. A hot chocolate is a once in a while treat during the colder months. The velvetiser has started to RUST around the mouth having only used it 10 times!!!! I’ve sent photos as evidence. Customer services have been an absolute shambles as they are only interested in offering 50% off another velvetiser which will happen again and so on and so on. Plus this was a gift and I’m not spending £50.00 on another one. It’s not happening. I’m extremely disappointed as this is supposed to be a luxury product and it has an expensive price tag. The velvetiser is more of a for show product I believe and isn’t something you can make use of. For something which has had a maximum of 10 uses you would not expect to see this. Customer services believe this is an generous offer! I do not, I feel it’s an insult from a loyal customer who has continued to purchase from this company and who has done nothing but say positive things about this company to family/friends but this has changed my opinion. My advice would be to avoid at all costs if you are thinking of purchasing one and from this company.

Fantastic! Two orders down and many more to come!!

This is the second time I’ve ordered from Gift Company online after receiving a diffuser as a gift. I must say the diffusers are absolutely amazing, they are huge and the scents are really strong!! They are affordable, look luxurious in the home and the packaging has a luxurious look and feel if you’d like to gift them. I have also tried the candles they are slightly smaller than expected, however again they look amazing and burn great with a lovely scent. I will be placing a third order just waiting for the website to be re-stocked and another one will be going in! I can’t fault Becci’s customer service, had an issue with my second order and it was rectified quickly. The only thing I would mention would be delivery as it took a week to dispatch my items and there was no email confirmation to say these had been dispatched apart from a text to say the delivery was out with a time slot with the same day to be delivered. I’m a very happy customer and I am delighted with my items I have purchased they have exceeded my expectations especially for the price. I just can’t wait to purchase more! My home smells amazing!!

This is a honest review……disappointed

This is a honest review, I am a paying customer and have not been gifted or affiliated with Sassy in anyway. I started purchasing from Sassy a few years back before they got “big” and the wax melts were absolutely amazing, very strong and long lasting. I liked Sassy cause the smells were unique to other wax melt companies out there. I started seeing other people were saying as soon as Sassy got bigger and more popular, they started to go downhill on the quality of products. I stopped purchasing from them cause of this. Anyway I thought I’d give them another go and placed a large order on Black Friday. Unfortunately the wax melts just don’t live up to the high standard anymore. The quality just isn’t there and they aren’t what they used to be. I ordered lots of different scents and they are all very weak. They smell lovely cold but when burning the scents they are extremely weak. The rooms I have been burning them in my house aren’t big and you can’t smell them across the other side of the room. I am obsessed with wax melts and purchase from different companies and burn them on a daily basis. The previous wax melts I purchased from Sassy a few years back you could smell throughout the house. There are other companies out there which are cheaper, have stronger smelling and longer lasting scents. I think Sassy has lost it’s touch in the wax melt business. I feel Sassy has grown too quickly and are unable to keep the demand of a high quality standard they used to. I also believe as well when companies start gifting out wax melts to all these ‘Z’ list celebrities to promote on their Instagram gets a little concerning when they are concentrating on popularity over quality. Due to this I will not be purchasing from Sassy again in the future which is a shame as years ago they were the best.

In terms of our quality and strength of scent, we have not changed our production process when making wax. We are so sorry hear that you feel disappointed in our quality and that our scents aren't as strong as they used to be, this is something I will personally feed back to the whole team to ensure it is investigated and that we can improve, learn and grow.

Regarding promotion on Instagram, as of later 2021 we reduced this greatly and took more thought into influencers we worked with. We will again take this on board for the future.

Customer Service Good - No Quality Control

Unfortunately I have to give three stars for my first order with Pro Cook which is extremely disappointing. My order was placed last Thursday and arrived on Friday so I cannot fault the quick delivery. However there have been on-going issues with damaged items in my order. I contacted Pro Cook and they sent out replacement items, again arrived damaged. So I am now on my third delivery which is due today for another replacement. It’s frustrating as there does not appear to be any quality control before sending these items out. I’ve given three stars due to the fact of the customer service being prompt but I’m still not a 100% satisfied as a first time customer and I don’t think I’d buy from Pro Cook again.

Horrendous! unhelpful! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! AVOID!!

Absolutely horrendous do not order from this company. I’ve just got off the telephone and after having a full blown argument with a member of staff. Who was rude and did not help what so ever!!

Ordered a high gloss dining set with 6 chairs back last year which was delivered in August. However our first table arrived damaged and chipped. They were quick enough to replace it. Now we are in July this year and I reported the gloss table has started to chip away at some parts and on the leg. Bearing in mind the table has only been sat at twice. It’s used for display purposes only.

I’ve waited for weeks for them to send a technician out and to accuse me of damaging me own table! Also including this in the report that a customer has damaged their own table!! Disgusting! It’s been sat at TWICE and isn’t at a place where it ‘can be damaged or knocked’ as he implied!! I’m extremely house proud and treat my furniture with the upmost care and respect!

I’m absolutely furious I phoned Oak Furniture Superstore who aren’t prepared to do anything to help at all and have taken hundreds of pounds of our money! They have suggested paying for our own independent upholstery report to show it’s a manufacturing issue which I won’t be doing. I lost out on a days pay at work to wait for this man to come and thought he was going to attempt to repair this!

Reading through the reviews I’ve noticed other bad reviews regarding the gloss dining tables and this company in general! I wish I read the reviews first before giving them hundreds of pounds of our money!!

I believe there is a manufacturing fault with these gloss dining tables and the quality is extremely poor! Customer service has now been proven to be poor as they are quick enough to take your money!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We are a very honest company and the high percentage of positive reviews you will have read, are because we do genuinely pride ourselves on helping customers. We also fully adhere to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which is in place to help protect retailers and customers, and in situations where a customer has had an item of furniture for over 6 months, it is a policy within these regulations for a customer to obtain their own report to confirm if there is a manufacturing issue. We appointed an independent company called Guardsman who advised that the issues were not a result of manufacturing, which makes it harder for us to help. However, if you could please contact us as soon as you are able to, we can discuss this further and see what we can do to assist.

Faulty/Damaged Bedspread

The first bedspread I received had a star missing from the stitching. Since then I have had two others delivered which both have marks in the middle of them so you cant even hide it. They appear to be printed ink marks within the fabric. The bedspread is white so it stands out like a sore thumb. I emailed customer service on Sunday explaining the third bedspread is still faulty and I don’t know what to suggest going forward? I haven’t heard anything back. It’s a shame cause the bedspread itself looks lovely but obviously quality assurance quite clearly isn’t a thing packing up these bedspreads unless I am just extremely unlucky in receiving faulty ones. I have given your company chance twice now to rectify this and put this right which hasn’t happened.

No battery pack provided with clock and no replacement received

Unfortunately I received my order which was a clock and there was no battery pack provided with this. I contacted them to ask for another battery pack to be send out this was a week and half ago. I still haven’t received one, I chased this up with them again and they’ve now dispatched another one. I’m really unhappy as I don’t even know if the clock will work or not. It’s been two weeks tomorrow since I received the clock and still don’t have it working due to no battery pack. I can’t rate this company highly cause I haven’t received what I was promised.

Hello there, I am so sorry to hear you are not happy with the service you have received. Firstly, let me apologise for you not receiving a clock with a mechanism in the first place. I have looked into your order and can see a mechanism was sent out to you on 26 March 20, which we have assumed went amiss in the post and the replacement mechanism you requested yesterday will be on it's way shortly. If you have any further issues once you have recieved the mechanism. Please do not hestate to contact us and we will happily rectify.
