Rough seas both legs but the ship coped well. All services still available despite rough weather. Checkin and bus transfer worked really well at Rosslare. Very happy.

Passing Petit Pli at Battersea Power Station, I was pulled in by the riot of colour in the window display. Welcoming and helpful assistant who pointed me in the right direction and then gave me space to consider everything on offer but was able to help me when the sheer choice proved too much. I love the shop, can’t praise the service highly enough and am absolutely knocked out by the Violet Comet versatile top and bottoms I bought. Once the rest of my family and friends see what I have bought they will all be making a beeline for Petit Pli.

Windows and doors installed in January 2024 and we are still waiting for the job to be completed in June.
1. The installers have been brilliant but they are not employed by Munster Joinery, who don’t appear to be interested in domestic customers and underpay the installers to do as good a job as they can despite being given insufficient time to do the job. As a result they hadn’t time to do a proper job on the window plastering - just filling in where the removal had taken out existing plaster.
2. Delivery was dumped at the end of the yard and the installers were unable to move the very heavy items down to the house.
3. The wrong size and shape cladding was delivered (this is what we are waiting for now). The installers told MJ about this more than 4 months ago. Still not installed.
4. Front door let in wind and water. This spring that meant the hall was regularly soaking and freezing cold. This got sorted within nine weeks. 15 minutes to install a proper door lining.
5. The windows are really shoddily put together. Mitres are uneven and just jammed together. Frames are uneven and chipped (before installation). Munster Joinery are not very good joiners. Really expensive too, for a cheap-looking, substandard product.
6. Contacted Munster Joinery a number of times and I found them unhelpful and obstructive. Customer Service is not there most of the time. The whole company closed for a holiday from the end of March until 8th April so we were left hanging on for them to come back to work.
7. We found a delivery that had been thrown over the hedge. They never warn us that they are coming but if there is an appointment they won’t turn up. If we weren’t in when they turned up they were up in arms.
I think that Munster Joinery cut costs to themselves while keeping their prices eye-wateringly high. That means shoddy products, rushed, low-quality installation, bad customer service and after care.
I had to use them because of the SSE One Stop Shop cowboys, but if you can, please avoid them like the plague. I’m tired of thinking about them.

Fantastic service, all the products I was interested in and at a great price. One product was not actually in stock and I received an email within hours to let me know that delivery would be delayed, how long that delay would be and asking me if that was okay. Never had online shopping felt more human and personal. Absolutely brilliant.

Not an Irish company. Products are sent from Burgundy. Promises about delivery dates are just lies. No customer service or complaints procedure. Products never arrived, never mind not on time for my trip. No way of contacting them. Swindlers. Never again!
