Cannot reach customer service, long return times
Non-existent customer service. Matches has been fantastic in the past, and I've ordered from them a lot, but I've been waiting over 7 weeks for a return on very expensive bag (+1k) that arrived lightly scratched.
I emailed their customer care team and got a quick response about the damage, but when I then tried to return it it took over 7.5 weeks with no answer.
Their online chat doesn't let you speak to an agent, and multiple email requests from me checking in on the status weren't replied to. In the meantime, emails about another item I was buying were replied to within hours - in other words, the customer care team cares about items you're purchasing, and not ones you're returning.
If I hadn't marked the bag as damaged and had simply returned it, no doubt my return would have gone through by now. Wait times on the phone can be up to 30 minutes (I tried to call 4-5 times and gave up), and it's unclear if there's anyone to help at times.
