Stressful, Disorganised and Extremely Poor Service
Our experience with Al Khair Travels was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.
We booked flights for two passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah and onward to Dubai, expecting the process to be smooth and professionally handled. Instead, it became a constant battle to chase the agency for basic information. We had to repeatedly follow up for visas, transfer details, and even flight tickets. Nothing was communicated clearly or on time.
Aysha and Methab were unresponsive, slow, and failed to deliver on promises made. Each phone call required further chasing, and simple requests took far longer than they should have. A travel agency should reduce stress — not create it. Unfortunately, this booking was full of unnecessary anxiety and frustration.
The most unacceptable part of the experience was the hotel voucher. Despite requesting it multiple times before departure, it was never provided. Upon arrival in Makkah, we were left waiting and forced to contact the agent ourselves. There was no emergency out-of-hours contact available early in the morning. Only after 8:30am did someone call back with a reference number so we could check in. This is completely unacceptable for pilgrims arriving for Umrah, especially after long travel.
The organisation, communication, customer service and overall professionalism were severely lacking. A journey that was meant to be spiritually uplifting and blessed was overshadowed by poor management and avoidable stress.
Mr. Abdihannan Warsame, as the owner, serious improvements are needed in your team’s service standards and operational processes.
We will not be using this agency again and cannot recommend them to others. If you are looking for a reliable, stress-free Umrah booking experience, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere.
