Brother eco pro subscription is a con

Brother eco pro subscription is a con! I thought I would save money but it cost me far more and when I cancelled my subscription they froze me using the reminder of the cartridge so I had to buy another one. I thought my usage would carry over each month but boy was I wrong. Please don’t subscribe - it’s cheaper to buy the cartridges on Amazon. At least you get the full yield.

I booked a delivery slot for the 22nd…

I booked a delivery slot for the 22nd of April, had this confirmed on my order, then you told me it was ready on the 16th and I had 7 days to collect. I had to make 2 trips to collect so not impressed.

Disappointing return visit

Perfect location for our needs and rebooked based on previous experience. Shower and water instantly hot. Bathroom decor dated (not changed in 7 years). Food not as good as on previous stay and poor after day 2. Snacks designed more for kids (and we were out of school holidays). Room only cleaned 4 days of our 8 full dats there. Arrived 11pm Tues, last clean & fresh towels on Saturday, reported Tuesday after lunch & only cleaned/fresh towels on Weds afternoon (day before checkout). No apology from staff when reported just “I’ll sort it”. Expected better from a 4 star.

Twilight & In-Resort check-ins made all the difference …

Whilst we were returning to the same hotel we have stayed at many times before the big difference this year was having twilight check in and the return of in-resort check coming back. How smooth and easy it was to go in through the airport doors and straight into security bypassing the big queues snaking back from the desks. Lots of messages through the Jet2 app, text and email too. Well done Jet2 Holidays!

Set off early, but night flight and lights on til after midnight

Set off 10 mins early, landed on time. Was a 10.30-3am flight and the plane was very hot at the start, and very noisy. I struggled to sleep as the cabin lights were on until well after midnight. For those of us who were trying to sleep it would have been nice for the cabin lights to have been dimmed much earlier. Perhaps Duty Free could have been requested from passengers via their buzzer?

Arrived in time but weirdly the box had been opened. Deliver said it was left in a safe place but it was left on my doorstep for anyone to se. Nothing was missing though. Because the box was opened & not left in a safe place I couldn’t leave 5 stars.

Comms poor, delivery to store longer than expected, but in store service made up for this

Although the comms process was not very good and delivery to store took longer than expected, the service in store was great! I was able to try my things on and get a refund for one of the items. The plus side of delivery to store is that I spotted a lovely pink linen dress close to the till that I bought as well!!

Good trainers but customer service is lacking

The trainers who take my classes are great but unfortunately the customer service when you have an issue is not. Perhaps this is because it no longer sits in the club but in Warrington and responses are either very slow or don’t arrive at all.

Accepted the 100%markup on going to the…

Accepted the 100%markup on going to the Vue instead. Expected full use of facilities and staff not giving misleading info. 1) receptionist said no water in Trinity Centre, Leeds so no hot food available. Advised us to go elsewhere to eat. Went elsewhere for a drink & came back to find Pizzas available for order at bar! (?) 2) pizza was a minuscule flatbread for £10. Previous visit pre-COVID was a pizza in a proper pizza box. 3) “Gin enough for a film”. Advised by barman on gin bottle and 2 tonic bottles for £28 - didn’t realise that was it for two people (was expecting that per person) 4) couldn’t last the 20 mins trailers and 2hrs 45m for James Bond film so nipped to the loo to find it locked. Then a long trip back, down the stairs, past the bar to the disgusting toilets. Not a great experience and one we won’t be repeating

Persuaded to buy fillet steak on…

Persuaded to buy fillet steak on recommendation. What a disappointment- I’ve never had fillet steak EVER with gristle. I suppose you get what you pay for. Will go to a proper butcher next time
