Looks like i am not alone in this…after 50 days out the blue they suddenly refund me

If you can be bothered to read my experence please do. Suffice to say i had a very bad experience and will not be buying from this company again.

Looks like i am not alone in this pathetic site. Ordered some tea bags 4th Jan. Still waiting for delivery…7th Feb! I have tried to contact them numerous times….no response! No ffing response!
Tracking says ….Received at international processing center Tue 11 Jan, 13:13 CET
Okay so i assume its in a container somehwere but why dont they respond to my emails? I contacted DHL this side and they say go to seller.
In short first and last time i will shop here!

UPDATE…GOOD NEWS …THEY CONTACTED ME STRAIGHT AWAY HERE ON TRUST PILOT!! HOWEVER NO APOLOGY. THEY SAY CHECK SPAM BOX ….I DID NO MESSAGES. THEY SAY THEY HAVE REPLIED THEY HAVE NOT. MY EMAIL AND ADDRESS CORRECT. NEXT STEP PLEASE…ALL I ASK FOR IS NORMAL COMMUNICATION….WHERE IS MY ITEM.

Okay people are actually in touch with me now…

Company says… “ Please see tracking which shows the item cleared customs in Belgium on 10.02 and is currently in transit to the destination”

Sunday 13th Feb. THIS IS NOT TRUE …YES IT CLEARED CUSTOMS IN BELGIUM BUT ITS STILL THERE ..NOT IN TRANSIT TO THE DESTINATION!!!


14th feb ….no change dhl not received it yet… VOLG DE ZENDING VAN BRITSTORE LTD
ZENDING NOG NIET ONTVANGEN OF VERWERKT

15th Feb …good news …they have contacted me again…however the item is still in Belgium. They say give them a call whilst they sort my email out… but international mobile calls cost money…this way is much more effective. They are tracking my item daily…so am I! Remember order placed 4th Jan its now 42 days later! Update later.
20th Feb update….no change since the 10th Feb. remember this item was ordered 4th Jan.

Still dont really know what the problem is?????

They said “This shipment will be in transit from Belgium to the Netherlands and should be delivered there by this week”. Well i am afraid ‘this week’ has come and gone!!!!

Monday 21st february …they told me to contact them if i had not received the item by the end of the week…well guess what i have not!! time to open ANOTHER investigation into this item. ORDER PURCHASED 48 days ago and still non the wiser!!!!!

Tuesday 22nd February….no change… “ Customs cleared Thu 10 Feb, 07:38 CET Machelen Belgium” 49 days ago i purchased this product. No feedback received from company on latest delay.

23rd February….completely out the blue i get an email from my bank saying… “Britstore refunded 36,58 GBP from your purchase on 5 January 2022.”

So i check the website of britstore - no meesage saying what they have done. No apology about non delivery. No explanation as to why my email was apparently not functioning. This sorry saga comes to an end. One of my worst online experiences i have had. You have been warned.

Hi Tom. We have replied to you - please check your junk spam folder. We will reply also to the email sent this morning. We have responded to all emails you have sent and are investigating your order. As stated on our website it can take up to 30 days for an investigation. We have replied to all emails. Our sincere apologies if you have not received any - B Post have started their investigation and we will email the email address supplied to you once we have updates. We cannot reply on here due to data protection. You are also a registered customer with us - you can log into your account and if it is easier we will note on there any updates we have with the courier.

UPDATE: As you are not receiving our replies we wanted to update you as per the email we received from the courier this morning:

Please see tracking which shows the item cleared customs in Belgium on 10.02 and is currently in transit to the destination

We have emailed B Post asking them to update their tracking and have asked our IT department why our emails are not being received by yourself. We are always happy to help but what we will not tolerate is abusive emails. I am tracking your order daily. If you have received an order confirmation from us (which you probably did as you have the tracking information), our contact telephone number is on the invoice which you can always speak to us over the telephone.

UPDATE FROM B POST - Good Afternoon,

This shipment will be in transit from Belgium to the Netherlands and should be delivered there by this week.

The delay may be due to backlogs in Belgium as there were a number of shipments that were being held and are now being cleared.

If the shipment has not arrived in the Netherlands by the end of this week then please revert back to us and we will have to reopen an investigation on this shipment.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you and your customer.

Tom, we have refunded you the full amount as our poor member of staff could not tolerate the verbally abusive emails from you any longer which we really did not deserve. We have done nothing but apologise from start to finish and still received some appalling emails which as a company we did not deserve as the issues were with the courier which we tried in vain to resolve. This has now come to an end.
