I was charged for "Additional Features"…

I was charged for "Additional Features" that I NEVER ordered and when I requested a refund for the Basic App AND the Additional Features - that I NEVER downloaded - I've received no refund from the supplier, even after they confirmed that my subscriptions had been cancelled. Their programmes may work but their sales methods, including charging for products that have never been ordered or downloaded, are suspect and misleading.

Like many others on TrustPilot, MadMuscles haven't offered a refund. They have offered a 50% reduction off their monthly subscriptions. But as I wanted to cancel my subscription completely and receive a full refund, the offer is unacceptable.

BE WARNED - there's no "cooling off" period with this company. They charge up front and and incorrectly. So my only recourse now is to try to claim the money back from my Credit Card company that underpinned my PayPal account.

Terrible Spin Master Customer Service

I'm currently in dispute with Spin Master over the purchase of a Meccano set for my Grandson. Spin Master's initial response was quite positive but the latest email I've had states that the set I bought must have been old stock, even though it's still on sale through Amazon, and that they don't accept my Amazon order receipt (27 October 2024) as being within 90 days, so they won't replace the missing/damaged parts. This is awful customer service

Don't waste your money

Bought the Zoo puzzle for my grandchildren. Ended up spending over an hour just trying to match "animal footprints" to reveal a message from zookeeper Ben. Had to resort to random number generation in the end as one of the prints was actually attributed to the Zoo restaurant!! Emailed user support who initially offered a refund, only to be told that as we'd bought the puzzle through a 3rd party we weren't eligible for a refund and to take it up with the company who'd supplied it. Waste of time and money

More great service from DialAFlight…

More great service from DialAFlight (Simon & team) for our latest holiday in Cyprus. They were able to secure the room choice and dates for our week away, something I wasn't able to do with any other agent. All the arrangements, including airport to hotel transfers went smoothly and we enjoyed a thoroughly over indulgent week at the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Pahos.

Sadly, despite repeated excuses about delays and delivery problems, the furniture cover I ordered in February 2024 had not been delivered. I have repeatedly emailed the company and have received several, apparently reasonable excuses as to why the order hasn't been fulfilled but I've had no responses to any recent emails and cannot get through to the company by phone, it just rings out.

*Review update
Since the original review was posted the MD of the company got in touch and finally managed to get my order sorted, despatched and delivered. So the end result was positive and I'm very satisfied with my garden furniture cover. It's just a shame that it took 3 months, many phone calls and emails and a lot of grief to achieve this result. That said, if Kustom Covers could ensure that they met their published production and delivery schedules then they would have received a 5* review.

Mattress confusion

I initially used the Chat Facility with Charlotte, later changing to a phone call. Charlotte was very knowledgeable and provided me with several mattress options to suit my requirements. I haven't ordered yet as still considering but a worthwhile session.

Exceptional support from Jed Tang and the Regional Group Support Team

Jed Tang and his colleagues in the Regional Groups Support team do a fantastic job. They respond quickly to emails, reserve places as I request them and bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of my own group of theatre attendees. They offered exceptional support, particularly in the early post Covid era, recognising that folk, who were keen to return to live performances, were still being affected by and falling foul to the virus. During those times Jed and the team went out of their way to offer alternative dates and extend a credit voucher scheme to us. Great work guys and gals.

Appalling customer service

I'm amazed that there aren't more 1 (or zero) star reviews. The customer service is appalling. I tried to cancel my order when it didn't arrive after a week only to have numerous confusing and contradictory emails from the supplier. I've now pretty much written off the cost of the order as I don't ever expect to see a refund.

Professional Energy Solutions Ltd, a great company to do business with!

We selected Professional Energy Solutions after some detailed online research, checking their reviews, an on-site inspection and speaking directly with the MD Lee Peries. We have been delighted with the PV Solar Panel & Battery Storage installation that they carried out for us. Lee and his team of 4 installers have provided us with exactly what we were looking for which was a discrete installation, no visible ducting or cable runs and with all the equipment hidden away in the loft. The work was carried out carefully, respectfully and above all efficiently, in just one day. Since then I've delighted in checking regularly on the Monitoring APP to see how much energy the panels have been producing and how long we've managed to stay "off grid". Overall a great success and I'd happily recommend this company to others.

Just had our water softener installed…

Just had our water softener installed by Rhys Couldrey. Brilliant service! Rhys arrived on time and did an excellent job of installing the water softener and in line water filter, in an extremely cramped under sink cupboard. Obviously, it's very early days to truly rate the installed equipment but if most of the other reviews are anything to go by we should be delighted. Thanks once again to Rhys for his handiwork, amiability and cleanliness. He left the area he was working in spotless.

Persimmons are a real MARMITE company

Persimmons are a real MARMITE company. Some folk love them, some folk hate them, very little in between. I fall into the HATE camp, not because I'm not pleased with the house that Charles Church (the so called Rolls Royce end of the Persimmons brand) built and I call home but because of their heel dragging when it comes to handing over the development to the RMG and Resident led Management Company. It's been over 3 years since the last property was occupied on the development and for well over a year we, the residents have been trying to get Persimmon's to finish off the remaining items on site so that we can set up the Management Company that will take over from Persimmon's on handover. They no longer even acknowledge the emails or phone calls we make which is weird because until the handover occurs they remain responsible for all the upkeep of Public Open Spaces across the site as well as all the common areas such as roads, paths, lighting. So, if you are reading this Ben Felton, Alex Mayne or Kelly Bence from the Camberley/Thames Valley office, please pull your collective fingers out and respond to us so we can all move forward with our lives.

Yodel's "Phantom" delivery service.

Like many others issuing 1 star reviews I have experienced a phantom delivery. I was expecting a delivery of specialist paint from a supplier. Had an email saying that delivery would occur by 9pm on 8th May. Nothing came. So on 9th May I checked the tracking only to see that according to the tracking system my parcel had been delivered but due to the C19 situation it was left but not signed for. No card from driver. I used the webchat and was told it was the suppliers problem to deal with. I contacted the supplier who has agreed to send out a new batch but also said they were planning on switching to a different carrier because Yodel were causing them issues and losing them customers. Too right they are. I suspect, like others, that the driver took one look at the package and decided to keep the paint for themselves. Appalling service.

Here was my response to Yodel's email...

I find it totally incredulous that your (Yodel's) email response to my Trust Pilot review is in total contradiction to the responses I received whist using the webchat facility. Your agents couldn't have been less helpful if they tried. I repeatedly asked if they could contact the driver or the branch from which the order had been picked up. Each time my requests were met with a reply which boiled down to...

"According to our tracking system the driver has delivered, so tough luck! Now contact the supplier".

Clearly, others have experienced similar "phantom" or no show deliveries.

Your tracking system is obviously flawed, as is the system which implies that the driver will always leave a card through the door explaining where the delivery is to be found. It seems that mere GPS tracking of drivers isn't a reliable system to confirm that deliveries have been made. Some delivery companies require that the driver takes a picture of the delivery outside the door of the delivery address, in addition to leaving a card. Yodel's systems are clearly not rigorous enough.
