Visited on Sunday made the Wednesday…
Visited on Sunday made the Wednesday booking for 5pm based on a planned trip to Raffin Island.
Sunday's meal was fine, customer service less so but the location and seafront view overshadowed any disappointments.
Wednesday's experience not so good. The Maître D had not made the booking, so for a meal with guests during the Golf Open that was frustrating.
We were however seated, assured of a good service and eventually served (restaurant was not overly busy) yet when asking for a 2nd slice of bread with the Mussels were charged 50p- so much for making amends and the Maître D' assuring us of a good service, having taken the bread request.
Overall the food is better than the customer service in my opinion.
