Omega is my go-to rental car company in NZ since my exchange student days. First rented from them in 2017, and renting again in 2024 has been equally fuss-free.
Daily rental rates are very reasonable and the car pick-up/drop-off process has always been easy and seamless. If you choose a city centre pick-up from Omega Queenstown, there’s an extra step to head to their depot slightly outside of the city - but they cover an Uber ride there so there was barely an inconvenience.
