Irreplaceable Golf trophy in pieces !!!

I have used Parcel Monkey on numerous occasions and the same trophy was delivered in one piece to the same address a couple of years ago in perfect condition !
WHAT A PITY IT WASN’T THE SAME STORY THIS TIME!
A golf trophy that has been used for the last 20 years + arrived in pieces to the destination. It looks like it has been dropped from a great height and smashed into about 15-20 pieces !
I filled in the relevant forms, sent photos and today I have been informed that they accept no responsibility as it was a ceramic pot on a wooden plinth and they don’t pay out compensation on porcelain. How else do people send items with you then? If you don’t accept responsibility, don’t accept them as items then !
The very, very small ‘small print’ in the t&c’s , is not something that people will read normally, but make sure you do if using this company in the future.
