Never Use Zip
I would not recommend Zip (United States) Installments.
I recently paid $617 to bring my account current after experiencing fraud on my bank account. I had to wait for my bank to issue me a new debit card before I could make my payments. Even after paying the overdue balance, Zip informed me that I cannot use my account again until every installment is completely paid off including payments that are not even due yet.
I understand companies have policies, but this feels extremely unfair to customers who experience situations beyond their control, such as fraud or bank card replacements. Instead of working with customers who make an effort to catch up, they continue to restrict access despite payments being made.
Based on my experience, I would think carefully before using Zip. If you run into financial hardship or banking issues, don't expect much flexibility, even if you pay what you owe.

I love my zip pay! It’s soo helpful when I’m a bit low on money or I want to purchase something but don’t want to spend soo much on the spot. I was able to pay for my mums flight to attend her aunts funeral and I’m so grateful that I’m able to to that with zip pay!

ZipPay is one of the most unethical…
ZipPay is one of the most unethical financial providers ever. We are currently experiencing financial hardship and only had $300 left in our bank account. Zip took nearly everything in our account, leaving us only $5 to eat for the next 9 days! They also took the last $50 I had to eat in another instance, leaving us destitute. They worst part was that these were unauthorised charges that are taken out of your account at anytime, without notice. They also automatically reduce your credit limit without warning, making you pay the immediate outstanding balance. This can put you into more financial hardship because you suddenly owe a lump sum and your account is frozen. They just take what they want and have NO sense of empathy. DO NOT do any business with this company. They will kick you when you are already down!
