Had a policy with Zenith last year and…

Had a policy with Zenith last year and it was great - I only left as the price was not compeititve when I renewed. The customer service was the best I have ever had from an insurance company and I hope to be back.

Dont bother with Zenith

Probably the worst car insurance company to ever deal with!! Their underwriter Markerstudy dont keep you updated when you have an accident and leave your case open without you knowing.. they dont answer your calls or even reply to emails. Still have a case open with them since last 3 years which is on going for the other party who walked out his car at the time of the accident wants to claim personal injury!!! Well good luck as I have witnesses...

My daughter lost a full year no claims discount.

My daughter (21years) HAD to cancel her insurance policy with Zenith, due to the current underwriters not insuring her new car. I have never heard anything like it in my 40yrs of driving. She lost (almost) a full years no claims discount. She had two more payments to make !! She now is back to 3 instead of 4ys. At 21 every year counts cost wise. She would have even been liable to cancellation fees, even though SHE WASN'T the one cancelling the policy. However after expressing my complete incredulation that that was the case, they waived the fee. Thank you to Ashton for his help. Although Zenith did lose a customer now and in the future. Your underwriters are questionable to say the least.

Thank you for sharing what happened with your daughter, it’s completely understandable why you’re feeling frustrated. Losing almost a full year’s no claims discount at her age is significant, and it’s certainly not the experience we would want for any customer.

I’m really sorry that the underwriter was unable to insure her new car, leaving her with no option but to cancel. I can appreciate how unfair that must feel, particularly when the decision was out of her control. While I’m glad Ashton was able to waive the cancellation fee, I understand why the situation as a whole has been disappointing.

Contacted the customer service by…

Contacted the customer service by telephone. Line dropped in the first minute of automation. Second call guy hung or line dropped after 5 minutes. 3rd call guy hung up or line dropped after and hour, guy I spoke to still not resolved issue and didn't seem to understand the companies business. 4th lady sounded better said guy 3 was completely incorrect (i said so how do i trust you if 2 people say completely opposite answers). Requested a call back to my complaint over customer service issues but hoping to get someone who knows. Around 2hrs on call all advisers going away to ask there advisers

AVOID AT ALL COST

Useless customer service, call centre in india that cannot even get registration numbers correct you spend ages on the phone repeating yourself. AVOID AT ALL COST. May be the cheapest but absolutely shocking i certainly wouldn't like to rely on them if i needed them. Reported to the ombudsman. 4 HOURS OF MY LIFE WASTED DONT WASTE YOURS

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Customer service team hang up on you, you send them proof of no claims used on another policy they decline it without even notifying you and then email the day before Christmas Eve to say they need to speak to you and all th relevant departments are closed. Refuse to put you through to a manager or anyone that can advise on anything.

Absolute shambles of an insurance…

Absolute shambles of an insurance company cancelled my policy because I didn’t tell them I had insurance cancelled when I never and it was a renew
Tryed to speak to someone on the phone but couldn’t understand them and they couldn’t understand me Really would not use this company ever again

Just don't use them, it's not worth it

A terrible experience from start to finish. Despite providing my proof of no claims several times, spending hours on hold, and using multiple formats, they now want to increase my premium or charge a cancellation fee. Save yourself the time, and use a proper company.
