IES Ltd were superb from start to finish. Always available to answer our many questions and coordinate the several different organizations required to complete the lengthy and complicated task. The work ethic of Adam and Dawid was second to none and their skills and experience has resulted in an amazing transformation of our home.

Larah has been incredibly helpful in organising the various contractors required to install the solar panels and system, and has been on top of communication with us and pressing the council to get things done.
Very happy with the service and would recommend them.

I have been very pleased with the work that has been done in my house. It was well organised by Lara Jones in the office and the men that have done the work were tidy neat and i would recommend them to any one who needs an electrician or a gas boiler installed really helpful and friendly thank you.

We had external wall insulation fitted by Independent Energy Savers just over 2 years ago, every thing seemed fine until we noticed staining of the render around the house some of the staining as high as 20 feet from the ground.
I contacted the office and Gary the surveyor was booked to come out when he was next in the area, after Gary’s visit he took some photographs and said he would try to arrange a wash of the render.
He also said in his opinion the staining was caused by the proximity of bushes, shrubs and trees in the area and not by the render.

Nothing happened in the short term and I eventually spoke to Gary again on the phone once again once he blamed the foliage in the area and not the render. During this conversation he became louder and louder and eventually hung the phone up on me.

I rang the office and complained and the lady said she would arrange for Lee to contact me when he returned from holiday.
Lee actually contacted me by email from his holiday destination and said he would contact the technical department of SPS who market the render and see what they said.
When the reply came once again it was put down to the trees and foliage and not the render and they sent me a data sheet with a recommendation for an anti fungicide and I am left to get on with it.

The following text is a copy of the email I sent to Lee at Independent Energy Savers on the 11th April 2024 I have heard nothing since.
Its quite clear from this email that both yourselves and the makers of the render are washing your hands of this situation.
At the very beginning of this process a question was asked of your surveyor "what maintenance is required" he replied none its maintenance free.
Your own website states virtually maintenance free , has long term durability , ten year guarantee.
It has been just over 2 years since the job and we have bad staining beginning in other areas of the house where there is no foliage of any description.
If trees are indeed the problem as suggested by all parties then the render is clearly not suited to be applied to most domestic situations where there are gardens and bushes in close proximity.
We have not had this problem with the previous pebbledash and sandtex masonry paint which worked well for over 20 years.
We now have a situation after £11000.00 job it seems we will have to treat the render every couple of years, so much for maintenance free and 25 year
Guarantee as the saying goes “not worth the paper its written on".

I cannot thank IES enough for the work on the property. They have been easy to deal with, friendly and helpful all the way through. Their team of workmen were fantastic and fast and always polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for your hard work.

Lee and Larah from IES were great, as was the whole team from Wall Lag who carried out the installation. It was such a big commitment to change the heating system, but IES gave us peace of mind, as we knew we were dealing with trustworthy professionals.
