Scam artists. They promise to sell your business and says if it doesnt sell in a year you can leave. They do not market it properly or have any legitimate buyers.
Contract has a personal liability clause which they do not mention in the sales pitch and then threaten to take you to court. Absolute SCAM of a company
This is the same company as Meridian business sales , which has all negative reviews.

This company has changed its name and is originally called MERIDIAN BUSINESS SALES LIMITED. Confirmed by checking companies house.
We had dealings with Meridan a few years ago and wished id check the reviews beforehand. Without going into detail its the same issue most people seem to have. They demand payment even if your business closes. They invoiced us for 25k, not one single viewing or inquiry. It took months to gather evidence and legal writes ready to go to court. In the end they reduced the invoice to 2k. I paid just to make it go away.
A sales representative will try to make you sign a contract the same day. Please read in detail particularly the fees. My advice. Avoid at all costs.

Formerly known as Meridian, now trading as Online Business Sales – which makes you wonder why the name change was necessary. Perhaps the reviews speak for themselves.

In my opinion, this company does not appear to sell many businesses and instead relies on extracting money from people through unfair contracts.

This company is an absolute scam. Read the small print very carefully and do not be pressured into signing anything in a rush.

We lost our business due to Covid and were forced to close immediately. Because we were unable to give two months’ notice, we were issued with a bill of nearly £7,000. What followed was constant harassment and repeated threats of court action. I genuinely don’t know how this man sleeps at night.

After two years of stress and ongoing pressure, we eventually agreed to a settlement figure of £3,500 just to bring the ordeal to an end.

Honest review. Giving everyone some advice this company previously meridian cold called me with a no sale no fee promise. They had my business on the market for 5 years and never sold it . I then surrendered the lease. Next thing I get a letter saying u owe us £9500 or we will take you to court. Went to court for mediation and even though the judge was in my side they advised a settlement. I agreed on the cancellation price £2500 to conclude this matter which I paid . I have had a very bad experience with this company and don’t want anyone else to go through the same. They overprice the valuation enticing u in thinking you are going to get that price. The contract is for life no getting out of it so no matter what u do surrender lease or leave the shop or even find your own buyer these people will want payment . Don’t sign the contract unless you understand this as it will become a problem . My advice to you all cost me £2500 but it will be worth it if it helps someone out .

This company is nothing but a scam and should be reported to authorities and closed down. They were scam artist when Meridian and now worse. Please do not read their testament's as made by staff not companies. Please Please do not use. Should be struck off. Also if you do not believe me look at Meridian reviews also. This company need striking off not opening different names when found out Disgusting !!!
