Austrian custumer service is awful
I’m really disappointed with the customer support. They offer an English speaking option, but it seems like there’s hardly anyone there who actually speaks English. I’ve been wrongfully accused of not paying my bills, even though I’ve sent them all the proof they need. I’ve tried emails, phone calls, you name it, but nothing gets resolved. It’s a shame because the service itself is quite good, and it could have been a fantastic experience.
When I tried the German customer service, it was okay, but calling their Austrian number was a complete nightmare. I even enlisted a friend's help and attempted multiple channels, but that was just as unhelpful. They always say they’ll call back, but guess what? They never do—except for one person. Out of the 13 people I spoke to, only one was helpful, and he actually called me back from a German number (+49).
I'm giving 2 stars only because of that one person who made an effort. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Mould; ignored emails
Mould developed in the storage unit because the owner did not heat the facility during the winter. (During one phone call, an employee said "Your contract does not state there won't be any mould".) After more than six months, still no response to the resulting insurance claim; follow-up emails ignored, month after month. A scandalous lack of customer service.

The online payment system doesn't work
The online payment system doesn't work, and customer service is non-existent. Run away; there are so many better storage solutions in Eindhoven. ANSWER to your reply: That was 2023. What you don't want to share with the online community here is that you couldn't allocate my payment in 2024 for one month. You activated access to my storage one month too late (not instant as your app is promising), so I have to find another storage provider, and now you don't want to cancel the services, which I never even started. You are sending me multiple reminders and threatening me with legal action. This is your business concept. Shame on you!

Kept charging me - phone support worked once in 5 times with no real help! Sent over 7 mails within a month with no reply - so they just want to keep charging me the wrong storebox till I had to

Update : yes, money is refunded and contract is shown as ended but money is still pending for the additional cabin and showing in unpaid bills - please resolve since no email and no phone answers from storebox side

Slow Customer Service and greedy Contract Details
I unfortunately forgot to upload the fotos of the empty storebox as proof of a correct return. Then storebox just extended the contract by making a new contract with a new contract number and a more expensive price (price increased about 20%!). I wrote to the customer service, they just didn't answer, so the contract extended again and again, till I tried to call them, I got a good advice to revocate the contract instead of waiting for another answer to my E-Mail request to solve the problem. The form was nowwhere to be found on the website itself, I had to google it. Found it luckily, also the answer to this took a long time...in the end I paid extra and I am still not sure if they will not answer for more money.
Might work well for other people having business with them, but then do not forget to make every step of your side correctly, because they will take their time with answering and processing, so they can make more money out of you.

Can't cancel contract + no customer service
I have been trying to cancel my contract for a month now. I have not got any answer to my many emails. I succeeded only getting 2 people on 2 calls who could not help me at all & told me their colleague would call me back. I am still waiting weeks later. And I am still being charged for the rent in the meantime

I will not use it again
I will not use it again. UPS delivery attempt was unsuccessful, although apparently open 24 hours. There is no way of getting help from either company. You are stuck between one customer service that does not answer and the other that does answer and is not responsible either. A very bad combination. As it is hard to avoid UPS I recommend to avoid storebox.

Worst experience ever!
About 50% of my stuff is moldy after just 7 months. Clothes but also two stools and more. There was no compensation and the customer service is terrible. Actually there is no customer service at all because I was simply ignored and after weeks of waiting I was fobbed off with automatic emails. Money was automatically deducted from me 3 months after the end of the contract even though I handed everything in on time and my request for the money to be transferred back to me has not yet been received. Never again Storebox!

Completely Unsafe - WORST customer service
Completely Unsafe. After only 6 days of storing my items I had over 2500 euros worth of items stolen. I immediately contacted the police for a report which was submitted to store box for insurance purposes. After contacting the help team at storebox I was sent details to fill in the claim for insurance that is covered in their monthly fee, this was returned immediately. I also submitted the police report to show that these items were missing and what had happened. Throughout the past 6 weeks now, I have tried calling and emailing multiple times to either NOT receive a reply via email or to be told I will be called by somebody.. This has also never happened.
Obviously the company does not have enough measures in place to keep theives out.
UNLESS the owner of this company is able to resolve this matter as soon as possible, It will be taken further for investigation as it shows how unreliable this company is.
Also I have noted on other posts that they have tried to reach out to people. I can 110% say they have avoided my emails intentionally and not called me as promised. NO contact has been made

terrible service and compulsory collection of fees
we have cancelled contract for two months and contract status showed cancelled in account, but they continuously charging the fees till now. Unbelievable service like this even we also sent email to notify this company. the worst experience ever in Germany.
Called service hotline for support, but still not solving problems and even got new invoices.

Absolute worst company EVER
Absolute worst company EVER. They clearly pray on people who desperately need storage quickly (in my case, my grandparents' house was dissolved in Austria and I live in New Zealand), lock them into 2-year contracts, with no way out (I cleaned my box out months ago and they refuse to let me leave), say the only way you can recoup some money is by subletting your box but then their website states that you cannot enter the box anymore once you canceled it (even if you are still paying for a whole year of fees), and now they just upped the fees on me by 8% which means I am giving these grifters €100 a month for an empty box in a country on the other end of the planet. Screw Storebox.

Nice and straightforward sign-up & use
Nice and straightforward sign-up process when I needed storage last minute, even on a Sunday! Everything was done online and it was easy to find a price and location that was convenient for me. Everything (at the location I chose) was set-up so that I did not need to interact with anyone (no staff on-site), and all I needed to do was arrive at the location with my things and followed the instructions to get into my unit (hence why it was available on Sunday). The location was clean and all that I could ask for. The lock for my unit was also fine and worked well. Streamlined website and service, highly recommended!

Total disaster
Total disaster. Storebox advertises “24/7” access to the storage but that is not true.
A couple of months ago the entry key pad stopped working. Contacted customer service and they told me it would be solved in a day. It took more than a week! And during this times I couldn’t access my belongings. I complained and complained, I even wrote to the CEO but they didn’t care.
As a solution of the broken keypad they put a key inside a key box. This was supposed to be temporary but has been there for more than 2 months.
Then last week, on the day I arranged my moving company to collect my possessions from Storebox the key was missing. So I wasn’t able to access the storage until several hours later when one person came and opened for me. However it was too late and my moving company had already left.
So if you are thinking on using Storebox… DON’T!! there are other more reliable storage companies with a much better customer services.

We booked two storage boxes for our luggage, early in the morning (8AM), because our check in was at 3PM. We wanted to enjoy the city luggage-free until our check in. Long story short, they never sent us the QR code to enter the building, they only sent us the code for our boxes. Keep in mind that we took a train and a 20 minute walk with suitcases to their storage location - thinking that the 1 code they sent us would be sufficient, but it wasn’t. We only found out once we got there, that we also need an additional QR code. We kept emailing them, and reaching the support with no help at all. We wasted two hours of our time and we were never able to get access to the storage at all!
On top of everything, they were hesitant in giving us our refunds, saying that the codes were sent on time - which is not true and we had screenshots! It took our almost 2 weeks of back-and-forths until we finally managed to get a refund through their PROVIDER - not storebox themself!! Luckily that was the case, otherwise, storebox was not going to give us our money back!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Codes for the entrance not being received on time
We booked a space with an intention to leave our luggages in the early morning before the check-in in our airbnb. We booked through other provider, but the code you need to get in an email, which lets you into the storage needs to be received from the Storebox. We didn’t receive the codes in time (we booked for 9AM and than tried again around 9:30AM approximately). So we left the location of course. I received the codes around 11:30AM later that day, but of course, didn’t need them anymore.
Now the best part:
I managed in the end to get my refunds through the provider that I booked through (even though it wasn’t their fault). However, the only thing that Storebox CS had to say to me is that they cannot influence when the codes will be received so I am not eligible for the refund. So who's fault is it than? Mine or Gmail’s? 😅 I even sent them the emails with the time stamp, while the customer service showed me two lines of their time stamps and they sent in time. My food delivery refunds me money when something is wrong with the order, while this company who's services I didn’t use would like to charge me. Honestly, I was shocked by this and never had an experience like this. Basically - don’t use them, you could loose your time and your money, and they will get on your nerves. Bad customer and technical support.
