Frustrating and rigid compliance process
I had a very poor experience using Your Company Formations Ltd for a UK office address service. While I understand the need for AML/KYC compliance, the onboarding process was incredibly burdensome and inefficient.
I was stuck in an endless loop of uploading documents that were repeatedly rejected for trivial or overly rigid reasons. Whether I provided bank statements, internet bills, or utility bills, there was always a new reason why the document wasn't 'acceptable' according to their strict internal criteria. It felt like the goalposts were constantly moving, making it impossible to move forward. After three weeks of back-and-forth and multiple rejections, I had no choice but to cancel the service entirely. If you are looking for a streamlined or user-friendly company formation service, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This was a complete waste of time.

As an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), we are legally required to carry out Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer checks before we can provide services such as a registered office or business address. Unfortunately, we can only accept documentation that meets both regulatory requirements and our internal compliance standards.
Having reviewed your case, the requests for further documentation were not intended to move the goalposts, but rather to address specific issues with the documents provided so that we could satisfy our legal obligations. We appreciate that this process can sometimes be more involved than expected, particularly where documents do not meet the required criteria.
We regret that we were ultimately unable to complete your onboarding and understand your decision to cancel. We are always reviewing our compliance processes to ensure they remain as clear and efficient as possible while continuing to meet our regulatory responsibilities.
