We requested and paid for new company formation. compliance rejected formation on basis that ownership and Director were non resident. We provided full documentation, notorised translation of documents
We received email from compliance stating that this company cannot perform service that they were paid to do.
As for refund answer was no- we have to wait until they write to offer to refund
we have been in business for nearly 50 years and this experience has left a nasty taste

We're genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We would like to clarify that the application was **not** declined because the proposed director or shareholders were non-UK residents. We regularly help entrepreneurs from around the world successfully establish UK companies.
As explained during our correspondence, the issue related to the proposed ownership structure, which involved multiple layers of corporate ownership (where one company owns another company within the structure). Following a detailed compliance review, we concluded that we were unable to proceed because this type of layered structure falls outside our internal Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer risk policy.
We appreciate that this was disappointing, particularly after documentation had been provided. However, these decisions are made solely to ensure we meet our legal and regulatory obligations as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), and are never a reflection on the individuals involved.
We can also confirm that a full refund has now been processed. If it has not yet reached your account, this may simply be due to your payment provider's normal processing times.
Should the ownership structure be simplified in the future, we would be pleased to review a new application and assist wherever possible.
