Discovered allergies I did not previously know I had. Ranked by sensitivity which was very insightful. Reccomend especially in usage for diet

I can't express how thrilled I am with Yorktest’s at-home food sensitivity test! Living in a rural area, getting specialized health services can be a hassle, but Yorktest made it a breeze. The test kit arrived right at my doorstep, and the instructions were so clear and easy to follow. Collecting my sample was simple, and I quickly sent it back without any fuss.
What blew me away was how fast I got my results via email! The detailed report pinpointed my food sensitivities, and I immediately started an elimination diet. The results were amazing! I’ve drastically reduced my seasonal allergies and have been able to fully enjoy the summer and fall seasons without the usual discomfort.
Yorktest has truly been a game-changer for my health. If you’re looking for a reliable, quick, and easy way to identify food sensitivities, especially if you live in a remote area, I highly recommend Yorktest. Their service is top-notch, and the results have made a world of difference for me.

Waste of money !!! I’m gluten intolerant and this did not flag up !! Only lemons which was borderline ???
The money you pay is not worth it
I don’t think this test is real
I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance 4 years ago this text said it was ok to eat wheat 😡
Testing was thorough, accurate and fast. This is my second test in two years. I had a list of foods wrote on a sticky note that I thought were bothering me and the test results matched that list perfectly. After removing some foods from my diet, my health feels great. Good job to everyone!
We had a great experience! We ordered a test for our 2 year old daughter to see which foods might be adding to her inflammation. The process was easy and we received results quickly! We also loved the free 30 minute consultation about her results.
Weekend - Purchased a package for Premium Food Intolerance Test and Food and Environment Allergy Test.
The purpose of having these tests was to find out if I have any further allergies than those already detected by my GP and Respiratory Consultant by blood tests which involved many vials being collected.
Wednesday- Packs arrived - satisfied.
Thursday - Blood collection was painless and were posted - satisfied.
Monday - Premium Food Intolerance Test results were available - None Detected!
Tuesday - Food and Environment Allergy Test results were available - 3 Foods (Hazlenut, Egg White and Tomato) and 7 Environmental (Inc Timothy Grass, Dust and Ragweed)
Following a misdiagnosis dating back over 40 years ago I have recently been diagnosed with Atopic Asthma (Allergies).
These tests have failed to detect the existing allergies - Foods are Bananas, Cucumber and Tomatoes which make my lips swell, go blood red and feel red raw. Peanuts cause a severe allergic reaction which makes me violently cough, I end up with my elbows on my bent knees, try to cough out a 'ghost' from my lungs and I can feel my throat closing like it's clogged with a web. I do not have to consume Peanuts to be suffer the above. Airbourne from Trail Mix Sampling or a fellow passenger on Public Transport. This test puts Peanuts as Zero!
I am severely allergic to Dust Particles, Grass/Tree/Weed Pollens and Mould Spores. Whilst some of these were picked up it is disappointing.
Tests which are not accurate and worthless and misleading and a total waste of time and money.
Not sure how accurate this lab is...I took the premium test because there were several things it included that I have not yet been tested for that I'm suspicious of and eat on a regular basis. I have previously taken 2 tests with EverlyWell and it confirmed several foods that I am highly intolerant too, most nightshades, sunflower, and garlic, among others. However, they didn't even register on this test as being abnormal. The 2 things that came back as "highly reactive" I've never had an issue with. Save your money.
UPDATE: My previous test was within the last month. No changes in antibodies would have occurred that quickly.

My experience with YorkTest's IgG food sensitivity test was abysmal. Nearly 90% of the tested ingredients scored an absurd 0 out of 100, while the rest barely reached 5, with no sensitivity found across 200 tested ingredients!! This glaring discrepancy suggests big incompetence in their testing procedures.
Customer service's dismissive response to my inquiries, brushing off the results as "normal" without any scientific backing, was appalling. They refused both a refund and retesting, displaying a callous disregard for accountability.
As a molecular biochemist, over 10 years with multiple research publication as first author, I am astounded by the ludicrous outcomes. Known ingredients like cow’s milk, yeast and gluten (my “trigger” food) miraculously appeared as non-sensitive, with laughable excuses (e.g. you probably having less diary in your diet) provided instead of substantive explanations.
They refuse to answer me when I asked what negative and positive control they use in their tests!! They just reply with a vague answer “we use quality control tests”. In science is normal that a test/experiment fails and need to be repeated. And no shortcuts!
It's evident that YorkTest lacks integrity, likely due to shoddy lab practices or sample mishandling. External oversight by FDA is urgently needed to expose their potential deceitful practices. Consistently skewed results among clients, especially regarding common allergens, only fuel suspicions of their potential dishonesty.
Don't waste your time or money on YorkTest's deceitful services and continue to make them rich. Avoid them at all costs!

About two months ago I did a comprehensive food sensitivity test through my PCP where they drew my blood in a lab and sent it for testing. It came back with a number of food sensitivities. I decided to retest with YorkTest two months later, and it came back with only 2 food sensitivities, that never even showed up on the original test my doctor performed. Apparently I had no other food sensitivities even though I still feel sick when eating certain foods. The foods that have been the biggest offenders for me, according to this test, I have zero sensitivities to. It doesn’t make sense which makes me believe this is a waste of time and money.

I had been having issues for years and none of my doctors could figure out what it was. But luckily I heard about the yorktest. It absolutely changed my life since I didn’t realize I had so many allergies/intolerance. Their team is so helpful and truly want to see you get better. Would highly recommend!!

The York Food Sensitivity Test gave me the accurate knowledge of trigger foods that I needed to eliminate from my diet. I acted quickly, and within days my face rash cleared, my diarrhea ceased, stomach discomfort was gone. Over the months I have lost twenty-five pounds and maintained that loss - leaving me at the ideal BMI for a man my age and height. My blood pressure is the lowest it has been in years. My doctor is thrilled, as am I!

The test was easy to take and the staff has been very responsive and helpful. My test results were a lot to take in and the consult discussed with me how to do the elimination diet to heal my body and then reintroduce the foods. We discussed options and replacements, she was very informative.

No helpful results. I have symptoms after specific foods which I deliberately ate before test. None came up. No test for palm which produces an itchy rash. Very disappointing. Waste of money.
Review then threatened with removal as YorkTest wanted contact details which of course they have as witnessed by email and phone contacts.
NHS blood tests had already found IgG reaction but could not specify food. Knowledge gained through years of elimination- dairy (even lactose free) produces loose bowels, soya causes water retention, palm produces itch rash. None of these showed up on the YorkTest. So a week of discomfort before test and no helpful results for me.

I have IBS . . . and am in pain most of the time. I decided to try a food sensitivity test. That's when I found a few. I settled on York because it offer the most foods tested for the best price. It takes a few weeks, but it was worth it. I had no idea the foods that were causing so much trouble . . . as of now, I spend most days pain free. The test from York is worth every cent! It literally changed my life for the better! I send a sincere thank you to everyone at York and would highly recommend their services. Just a great company!

Very easy to follow instructions. Prompt turnaround time (I am in the US). Very easy to read results that made sense. I forgot that it came with a free personal consultation with a specialist and they called to remind me and make sure I got it scheduled. The specialist was very helpful and really highlighted things I had missed or not fully understood. It’s already making a big difference. My gut issues have started to abate and I feel as though, with this information, I am going to be heading down a good path. It helped me understand why wine, for example, was causing me to feel so awful even after 1 glass. I have recommended this test to my parents as well.

I purchased the CVS York Test in a store. I had to use a painful slicing lancet and provide a good amount of blood. I sent the kit in with the mailing envelop provided. I got an email telling me they believe I had purchased this online and that it "might be expired", for apparently no reason at all. They suggested I go to the website and pay a further $50 to purchase another test. I immediately attempted to get assistance through phone, but no one ever answers or returns messages. I emailed them and told them I didn't understand why they thought it was expired because there had been no expiration dates on anything. I asked to be provided with pictures that showed the items I sent were expired. I asked them to get someone to help me before my sample expired. I told them I bought this in a store (and had a receipt to prove it!) and this seemed like a scam.
They refused to contact me at all and today I received the sample I suffered and bled for, returned to me in the mail! Is that not illegal for a lab to send back biohazard to a customer in the mail? They discarded me as they discarded my sample.
I've reported this to the BBB through the US address they claim. The BBB can not find them as a registered business so you can't get help.
Update 3/30/23: In reply to the response: Your company chose to contract with CVS pharmacies to sell this product directly. If you had a problem you should have taken this up with them. I bought your test in a store and used it in good faith.
Flagging this review as "harmful or illegal" to keep it from being viewable also didn't do much for customer relations. You lied so people wouldn't see it. Luckily I checked in and saw what you did and contacted Trustpilot to get it resolved. I wonder how many other negative reviews were similarly flagged and kept from public view since the reviewer isn't notified of the flagging, and would only know if they took the time to come and check on their review.

Tests came in the mail quickly, very easy to use and instructions were simple. It took 10-14ish days for the lab to receive the tests (since they are based in the UK) but my results became available the next day, same with my husbands. Customer service has been prompt and friendly…I requested an itemized receipt for my HSA and I got it the next day. I also called on a separate note and Simon who took my call was very friendly and helpful. I ordered 2 more tests from them for my father and brother. I would recommend the company to anyone

Very upset because I was so excited to find out if the problems my daughter and I have were due to food issues.
Yesterday I received the tests and when we went to register the website was too busy (so it said). Today the website says my credentials are forbidden - in three different browsers and two different IP addresses. I've emailed customer service twice - NOTHING.

Since 2006, I was made aware of the Yorktest I have probably suggested over 100 people to take it. My son 16 years age at the time, Christopher had had years of migraines, skin problems His adenoids taken out at age 4, two sinus surgeries by the age of six. He had had a many allergy test before, and nothing has really shown up. The years that we lived in. Singapore were great years for him because he was mostly on a rice and chicken diet. We were transferred to England, which changed his diet to more dairy and wheat. We spent the next five years inhell with him 2001-2006. While in England, he lost 10 weeks out on the couch because of his migraines. Since his allergy tests came back negative they decide it was a psychological problem, because when you traveled so much because of ex-pats assignments. But an old friend from Singapore told me about this great test called York Test. Once we identified his allergies, which were basically Wheat and Dairy. He thrived we had moved back to the states. His testing scores were great but his school GPA was very low due to his illness. At the end the day he was able to get into Texas A&M and earn a aerospace engineer degree, but without New York test that would’ve not been possible since then, my husband myself, my daughter, my sister have all taken New York test and has greatly improved our lives. I kept saying that the his problem started when I stopped breast-feeding and no doctor would ever listen to me, but that was because I was putting wheat and dairy in his mouth. I wish I had put stock into this company. It delivers what is promised.
