I learned so much about myself! After feeling ill and confused for a terribly long time without explanation with multiple Doctor visit I was finally pointed towards York test and all became clear.
I'm now feeling so much healthier and better for discovering what foods I should not of been eating and were keeping me feeling constantly unwell.
I accidentally ordered the wrong kit, after ringing up they swiftly rectified my mistake and sent out the one I was originally meant to order. With no extra charge, Thanks to Daniel saved me an extra £140
For anyone suffering from eczema, I wanted to share my experience. I’ve had eczema for over 20 years, and in the past 8 months it became much worse. I was always told it was contact dermatitis because it only affected my hands, so I never considered food as a possible cause.
For the last 3 months, it got so bad that I could barely use my hands—they felt like they were burning, with blisters and open wounds.
I came across food intolerance testing and decided to give it a try. The results showed that I was severely allergic to sesame seeds and, to a lesser extent, cashews. At first, I didn’t believe it. But after testing it myself by eliminating and reintroducing foods, I realized sesame was the trigger.
I had been consuming sesame regularly without thinking—especially sesame oil and tahini.
Since cutting it out, I’ve seen a real improvement. I’m sharing this as an honest review in the hope that it helps someone else who might be struggling like I was.
Cant really do a better job- simple as.
Daniel, I dealt with was very helpful and I got the tests I wanted. I have used them before and same story.
I was very hopeful that the result of the test would confirm / deny my understanding of quite a few suspected food intolerances - I was careful to check that the 'premium food intolerance test' covered the long list of foods that I suspect that I am intolerant to before buying it. There was no guidance on what to eat before taking the test, and of course I do normally avoid the foods as far as possible that make me feel unwell. The results therefore didn't show very much at all (and I'm not intolerant to the items that it highlighted either) but then I noticed on the result page the following disclaimer:
Please also note that if you have already been successfully excluding certain foods from your diet due to a previously suspected intolerance then that intolerance may not show up on the results.
This note was not on the webpage where you buy the test and therefore it was very misleading to find out that after paying for it and doing the test that it wouldn't show any results. If I had known that I would have had to eat all the things that I can't normally eat then I would have done this to try to get a better insight, or just not taken the test and continued the exclusionary diet. I have emailed to request a refund because this was extremely misleading, but haven't had any response.
I did the test and was surprised by what I had intolerances to. I cut them out, and greatly reduced the amount of medium risk foods out too and was impressed by how quickly I started to notice differences. I lost weight and felt better in myself. I followed the instructions given by the nutritionist and after 12 weeks slowly reintroduced certain foods into my diet. I've noticed too much of a change and still feel good. I have recommended doing these tests to friends and family who have also experienced positive results.
Don’t waste your money. Did an Intolerance Test and an Allergy Test. Both came back with a high score cows milk ( 5 on Allergy , 100 on Intolerance)
Went to my doctor who did a blood test which came back normal no issues.
Allergy UK quote NICE which says IgG ( intolerance) are of no proven diagnostic value and all tests should be through your doctor.
See your doctor, don’t waste your time and money.
Update to above. 15/4/26
Had a very quick response. After a bit of information exchange and medical excuses about what they test and how my doctor tests I was offered a refund.
I was offered a refund if I changed my review, not because they said one thing and my doctor said the opposite. I refuse the refund as I have only reported on what I have experienced. They are only interested in the poor review, not the result for me, time and money wasted for me and the NHS. Do your research first before parting with your money. As a footnote see the Guardian article on the subject. Good luck

The test arrived quickly, was easy to do and I had my results 48 hours later. My results really surprised me, but after eliminating certain foods from my diet and feeling significantly better over the next few weeks, they were proved to be right. I found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgable and I would definitely recommend them as a company.

Not impressed at all, got results back in a day, said I was not allergic to milk but that it is the one thing I am really allergic to, and apparently cockroaches. Definitely not worth the large amount I paid.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food intolerance test arrived quickly, the instruction was easy to follow and in a few days I received my results. The call with the nutritionist iwas really helpful and a few weeks after following her advice I started to feel better. The probiotics also helped. I have now reintroduced the item that I removed from my diet as I no longer feel as inflamed and I feel good. The team followed up with me with a phone call two more times which was very professional.

After two tests and a consultation I’m now on a path to changing my diet and lifestyle. I didn’t expect dramatic results from the tests but they revealed so much, I am now hopeful some changes off the back of my results will significantly improve my life.

Very easy test to administer at home. Explanations are super clear! The results are very easy to read, understand. I also used the nutritionist advice (included in the package) and it was excellent. Very clear, precise, to the point. I am taking on board the recommendations. Oh, and there is lots of guides and advice that you can access based on your results.
Customer service is also excellent. I had a question by email and I got a call back providing me with the answer and reassurance. I do not recall any company doing it.
And the fact that I can order it myself without involving my dietitian is amazing. Freedom!

What i appreciated was being validated as I gave a little summary of my journey to health, my results were in the normal range so it was good to touch base with the dietitian, to find a direction to go in next. Greatly appreciated her listening skills and helpful insight, thank you, very much.
