Good choice of items to order, easy to use website and very quick delivery.

I have been looking for sock blockers for some time now. I wanted adjustable blockers as I make socks as gifts and have to vary the sizes, but had read some poor reviews about some wooden blockers being flimsy and poor quality. I couldn’t find a blocker that I knew was unlikely to break, was adjustable and I could get into the UK. However I eventually found that Yarn Worx offered an acrylic adjustable blocker that provided the adjustability and strength I wanted. On top of that there are some other well considered design features of the blocker. The materials and construction are very sturdy and feel well manufactured, and the hook to hang up, needle gauge and ruler are all useful additions.
There are a couple of minor downsides- there is a ‘nobble’ around the adjuster on some sizes and the cost for 2 (I wanted a pair) by comparison isn’t cheap to some others. However, the ‘nobble’ disappears when the sock is off the blocker ( this was for UK size 6.5) and the cost is far cheaper than having to buy multiple replacements of poor quality blockers.
In summary the blocker is great, as was the service and I would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this company. The owners are always honest and give all the help and advice I need. I wanted to know when an item was coming into stock, and they said they would phone and let me know, which they did. They kept me informed of progress with an order as they had promised to do, and they also went the extra mile to help me in making decisions. They are everything a yarn shop should be.

This is an excellent company with wonderful products!! I bought 2 darling Yarn bags for carrying around our knitting things..."Happy Sheep" by Emma Ball...for my daughter and I. We totally love them, and have put them to use already!!! They are hand-drawn pictures on the outside, with pockets and draw-strings, and a coordinating lining fabric at the top, and inside the bag!! Totally cute...the BEST!!! I have even carried it through downtown San Diego, much like the character "Elsbeth" does in a new TV show on CBS this season..."Elsbeth"!!!! She is a policeman who polices the police, while carrying her worldly goods in three huge uncoordinating, sometimes designer, but always darling bags in every scene...a very funny show!!
