Follow up review

I am pleased to say following a previous negative review and complaint. Zavvi have passed with flying colours. Not only did i receive my Order within the 5 working days it was sent on a free 24 hour delivery. They also gave a discount which was refunded straight away. Their communication thereafter was excellent. Thank you for a excellent and swift resolution.

Preorder? Don't bother.

I preordered the Jackie Chan Breakout Hits box set well in advance, fully expecting it to be dispatched on launch day as you would reasonably anticipate from any retailer. Launch day came and went with no movement whatsoever.

I cancelled the order, went to another retailer the same day, and the item began dispatching almost immediately. Same product, same day, zero issue.

Zavvi preorders have one job. If a customer has committed their money ahead of release, the bare minimum expectation is that the order moves on launch day. This did not happen, and there was no good reason for it.

Save yourself the frustration and order elsewhere.

AVOID!!!! Scam, produce dispatch label ref for item not even in stock so they can blame RM "investigation" for delay/refund refusal

AVOID!!!!! Placed order, next day received dispatch notification with RM tracking, day after received email saying supplier didnt send as many as expected but they would notify me within the week when more stock had been received and order was actually dispatched to me (so original dispatch/tracking info creation was just a lie to create illusion order was moving thru the chain, they never even had stock to send). Back and forth for weeks, item still not actually been sent to me, zavvi refusing to refund and saying they need time to investigate with RM...FOR WHAT, ZAVVI HAVE NEVER SENT THE ITEM TO RM, THEY DONT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK TO SEND! TOTAL SCAM. Have started Amex dispute

Communication of this company needs to…

Communication of this company needs to be looked into , it is hard to believe anyone actually works there. All emails ignored and generic automated messages only. I pre ordered Hot toys winter soldier and already they took the money. They are not updating me with the process and it has passed date of release.
