I ordered a bed through Wowcher last month and, to this day, I have still not received the product or a refund.

The situation has been incredibly frustrating from the outset. Within the 14-day cancellation period, I contacted the merchant to request that my order be cancelled. Despite making my request within the cancellation period, I was told that I was unable to cancel the order. I then found myself going round in circles with the merchant, receiving the same automated response to every email rather than any meaningful assistance from an actual member of staff.

I have also found Wowcher’s customer service extremely disappointing. There appears to be no option to speak to an actual person, leaving customers entirely reliant on emails and automated responses and repeatedly being told that they have to wait up to 72 hours for a response.

Matters became even more frustrating when I subsequently received a text message informing me that the bed was going to be delivered on a date that was not convenient for me. I followed the instructions provided and replied to explain that the proposed delivery date was unsuitable. Despite this, on the day in question I received a telephone call from the driver telling me that he was just 15 minutes away.

I explained to the driver that nobody was available at the property to accept the delivery, particularly as I had already made it clear that the proposed delivery date was not convenient. The delivery therefore did not take place.

Since then, I have received no further meaningful contact from the merchant, no alternative delivery arrangement has been made, and, most importantly, I have still not received a refund.

Wowcher’s response has essentially been that the problem is the merchant’s responsibility because I have redeemed the voucher. However, from a customer’s perspective, I purchased the deal through Wowcher, and I expect Wowcher to take some responsibility when one of the merchants operating through its platform fails to provide the goods or resolve a customer’s legitimate concerns.

I have also since looked into reviews of the bed company and found numerous complaints from other customers describing very similar experiences over a significant period of time. Given this, I am extremely disappointed that Wowcher continues to promote this merchant despite what appears to be an ongoing pattern of poor customer service and unresolved customer issues.

At the very least, I would expect Wowcher to intervene and assist customers when a merchant it promotes fails to deliver the service expected of them. Instead, I have been left caught between Wowcher and the merchant, with neither taking effective responsibility for resolving the situation.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience and has completely destroyed my confidence in Wowcher. I will not be using Wowcher again and, based on my experience, I would not recommend Wowcher to others.

I would like this matter resolved urgently and expect my payment to be refunded without any further unnecessary delays.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

Didn't know i had to join subscriptions. I'd like refund . Haven't got what I paid for.

It would be nice if it was easier to find your way around the app without the pop ups.
Also good of it automatically pasted the voucher codes in the redeem page.
Apart from that it was quite exciting.

Absolutely disgusting , brought a voucher for my mother’s birthday for a Spa the Spa do not accept the vouchers any longer . Wowcher took three weeks arguing about this then -refunded me with a voucher to my account which has an expiry date and ran out.
I’ve put in a complaint. Absolute disgusting customer services.
You have already assisted and said that there is nothing you are willing to do even though it was your error….

Easy to purchase, can’t wait to start the abstract painting course

Purchasing the product you require is fine. The problem is redeeming the voucher which is stressful and time consuming.

In addition if there is a problem there is no contact details. i.e. an e-mail address or phone line to raise an issue or concern

Generally fine, but using a PC seems to be at a disadvantage - cannot read QR code

If you are a content creator / influencer DO NOT COLLABORATE WITH WOWCHER. I had the worst experience ever collaborating with them as their emails are monitored by a robot. Wasted months of my time going back and forth. Seriously do not bother. Such a joke of a company. They don't even have the decency to have a human answer any of their emails.
