THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CARD INFORMATION. I have attempted to cancel my mysterious subscription three times now. They just keep charging my credit card. I have disputed with my credit card, and they marked it as a known reoccurring charge. I still cannot determine how I got enrolled with this company to begin with. Looking through the reviews there is trend with the 29% one-star reviews. I have decided I will pay off my credit card and close the account before this company gets another cent from me.

Buy their products at your own risk. I was charged without warning for a yearly renewal that I do not want. I requested a refund immediately the same day I was charged and Wondershare denied the refund. I see Wondershare has a habit of taking money and refusing refunds. I admit some fault for not turning off auto-renewal but I still have rights. Luckily I paid through PayPal and I am going through them to get my money back. Terrible customer service policy.

i bought from this scammers a software Dr.Fone Screen Unlock (android) afther a activation of the software there was a realisation that this software is a scam, because there is only a non working "how to pictures". Right away i tried to do a refund, for a 3 days in a row. NEWER GOT ANY ANSWER.
Same day I canceld a subscribtion of 29$.
Last mounth they charge it again, i loged in tried a refund again and never got it. this time i was again looking for canceling subsribtion that i used, and 100% i canceld it. Today they charged it to me for the third time again.

The software didn't fix my file, I asked for a refund within the 7-day window, they offered me a refund, and then they refused to issue it. Instead, they insisted on continuing the troubleshooting process. I sent them the badly corrupted file and four days later they told me nothing was wrong with the file. They didn't even take the time to go beyond the first minute or two of the video. Most of their responses were automated. It seems clear this sort of thing is part of their business model.
UPDATE: Wondershare’s AI-generated faux concern and pretend earnestness should be read in light of the last two communications I received from them. In the first, they again insisted a file with over an hour of unplayable video is perfectly fine. So I gave them an exact time to start watching (something that should not be necessary on my end), but in their next email didn’t mention anything about the video. They wrote:
“If the problem persists, please provide the following information [Wondershare app log files] so we can resolve it more effectively”
Huh? This is a truly nonsensical response. This is not an ongoing technical problem. It is one video they won’t even acknowledge isn’t playable and a refusal to honor an offered refund. This pivot away from the file itself (with no mention of the refund they promised) is more of the same transparent stalling.
I will not be sharing the order number or my email address to facilitate an “investigation” that could only reveal customer service is doing exactly what they have been trained to do. I’ve heard from five different (human? AI?) customer service agents and everyone is clearly on the same page strategically with the possible exception of the one who offered the refund over a month ago. This isn’t a rogue branch of the customer service department. They aren’t bad apples with nothing better to do, they are doing exactly as they have been told. It is not hard to find other reports of this exact same behavior.
I'm sure they have saved a lot of files, but anyone buying a Wondershare product needs to be aware that they will do everything they can to avoid giving a refund even when the request meets their conditions and even when they offer the refund. They will also toy with you and try to wear you down.

I got it because I needed the AI to remove the watermark. So I had to pay the 10 USD. Turns out, you can't use it, you have to pay for it.
So guess what? No refund.

I would not recommend Wondershare based on my experience.
I was unable to access my account due to login issues starting in December and contacted their support multiple times over several months (March and April included). The issue was never resolved, and I was effectively locked out of the service the entire time.
Despite this, my subscription was automatically renewed and charged in July.
When I contacted them to request a refund, they refused, stating that I did not provide sufficient “technical verification”—even though I had already reported the issue multiple times and received no meaningful support or resolution. They are now offering troubleshooting after charging me, which is not acceptable.
This is not a case of forgetting to cancel—this is a case of paying for a service that was not accessible or usable.
Very disappointing customer support experience and a refund policy that appears to prioritize revenue over fair resolution.
Update: Following Wondershare’s public response, I have provided my account and order details again through their requested channel. I will update this review once a resolution is reached.
Update (July 22) - after providing the information:
Wondershare has now issued a final response, which I am including below for transparency:
“We understand you experienced login difficulties, but our records show that we provided troubleshooting steps, and you were able to use the service normally by logging in correctly throughout the subscription period.”
This statement directly contradicts their earlier response, where they stated they were unable to locate any records of my previous support requests, including repeated demands to cancel the service.
In addition, I am still unable to log into my account, meaning I cannot access or use the service but I was charged close to $200 CAD for service I didn't use even in the first year, and where I was promised it was canceled.
At no point was the login issue resolved despite multiple attempts to seek support over several months.
This raises serious concerns about how customer issues are tracked and handled, as well as the consistency of the information being provided.
The case is currently being handled through PayPal, where full documentation has been submitted.
I will update this review with the final outcome.
I highly recommend to seek a diligent company. Wondershare needs to be avoided in a wide circle.
Final Update:
This case was ultimately resolved through PayPal, which ruled in my favor and issued a full refund.

The product itself is solid, but be prepared to suffer if you ever need support. Their new AI support tool and email support are, frankly, unacceptable. I purchased two licenses at the beginning of the month and still do not have access. Support responds once per day at most, and if you happen to draw an agent who doesn't understand the issue, you've simply lost another full day waiting. For a paid product, this level of support is not reasonable, and I'd strongly caution anyone considering a purchase to think about what happens when something goes wrong.

Do not trust this company. Wondershare uses highly deceptive billing practices to trap consumers into unwanted subscriptions and then hides behind a rigid refund policy to steal your money.
I was hit with an unexpected and unauthorized auto-renewal charge of $105.99 for a product I no longer wanted or used. They do not provide clear, conspicuous advance warnings before charging your card, completely depriving you of a fair chance to cancel.
When I immediately caught the charge and submitted a refund application, their customer service flat-out denied it, claiming my request "did not comply with their policy" because it was for "personal reasons."
It is completely unethical to force an auto-renewal on a customer and then claim their lack of need for the product is a "personal reason" to deny a refund. This is predatory behavior designed to pocket money for software that isn't being used. Avoid Wondershare at all costs unless you want your card charged without your consent.

I cannot agree more with all the negative reviews.
Wondershare deal on people's fears that they have lost precious data and a fake promise that they can help.
In most cases, they cannot and it's just a scam money grab.
An initial "deep scan" by them indicated that they could recover over 500 photos accidently deleted, but I would have to pay to see what those images were. After paying far too much for the software, I got to see that it wasn't my photos. not even close.
I obviously asked immediately for a refund as I felt I had been misled at best, lied to at worst but of course my request was denied.
My warning to anyone and everyone out there is...
DO NOT USE OR PURCHASE THIS SCAM PRODUCT!

Very shoddy business practices. renewing subscriptions that come automatically with their so called free updates and the program itself is not very good either . UPDATE, their reply is literally a lie. Through communication they are well aware and admittedly accepted the renewal being triggered by a software update which claimed to be free and renewal email notification 15 days prior never arrived. (most states and provinces require 30 days notice by law)

I’m posting this review because I want to make it perfectly clear. I cancelled my subscription on March 29th 2026 and on the website where you manage subscription it said that my ending date was July 8th 2026 and that it wouldn’t get renewed. I logged off and trusted that this company would honor this, they instead uncancelled my subscription and charged me anyway. I have NEVER received an email to tell me that they were renewing. I searched high and low on my email account and all I ever get from Wondershare is promo material. I have reported this theiving behavior to both the FCC and the BBB. You stole my money and then hide behind your “policy”. What’s the policy on you reversing the cancellation of my subscription because I cancelled it. You stole $52.99, either you did this maliciously or your website made a mistake, but I will escalate this until I get my money back, it’s not about the amount it’s the principal that you think you can just steal money from people. I have recommended your software to a lot of people, and those people use your product. I will be informing them of this behavior and they will cancel their subscriptions, and I will make 1000% sure they make sure they have proof of cancelation, because your company should not be trusted. I’m not just disgruntled, I’m a victim of theft. Furthermore, gaslighting people into your lies is not a good look.

If I could give negative reviews i 100% would, I used Wondershare for 2 years to create content for various youtube and tiktok creators. but i have since stopped. My renew date was always July 8th, but back in March i cancelled my membership, the website said "Cancelled" i never got an email and i never got confirmation but i trusted them, because they seemed trustworthy until today, I wake up to a 52.99 charge from Wondershare, and i log back in to check and they Uncancelled my membership. then i asked for a refund and they said "No" i cant stress enough not to use these fools. they're theifs.

I was looking for software to convert YouTube videos to MP3 files so I could load them to portable MP3 player. Wondershare's Unicoverter came up in my research. I went to their webpage and they had three tiers of purchase options: a yearly plan for $39.99, a two year plan for $59.99, and a "Perpetual Plan" for $69.99. Right under the pricing for the Perpetual Plan were the words, "One time fee". Below that text, was a box talking about AI features, with a check box and some words indicating that AI features included a $19.99/month fee after the free trial. I took the "One time fee" to mean that I paid for a perpetual liscense that I could use forever and I didn't care about any AI features, especially since a bulleted list below everything said, "Lifetime access to basic features". I thought this was a pretty good deal and paid for the Perpetual plan (with tax and everything it was just over $80). As I got my account and more details, it seemed that I had just signed up for trial periods of any of the Wondershare software products, but to use a desired product, past the trial period, I would have to pay the $19.99 fee each month. This isn't what I thought I signed up for. I immediately tried to contact Wondershare and cancel my order (easily within an hour of signing up). Thing is, all of their customer service is handeled by AI bots. Even if you call the phone number, you get an AI bot that directs you to chat page, also handled by AI bots. When I described my issue in the chat, I just got a rote citation of their refund policies which didn't address my concern at all. I'm pretty sure I can cancel my subscription, but it feels like my +$80 is probably gone. All-in-all, I think their sales approach is very deceptive, confusing, and frankly, dishonest. It's probably a good revenue stream for them, but it takes advantage of potential customers. I'm very dissatisfied and I would recommend caution in dealing with this company.
