A very mixed experience
I ordered 3 items from Wolf and Badger unfortunately I have not been given the opportunity to review them all individually so I am having to review them together.
1. Starfish Project SHINE BRIGHT CROSS PENDANT IN MINT. Beautiful item well packaged and arrived quickly. Love it.
2. Kylie Harper ART DECO DIAMOND CZ CROSS. Terrible packaging. Looks cheap like it came out of a Christmas cracker even though it cost £82. Have worn it 3 times and the gold plate has already worn off the back. I thought W&B name guaranteed quality. W&B need to do better due diligence before allowing brands like this to use their name. I wouldn’t even give Kylie Harper 1 star! I fell like I’ve been brazenly mugged with this piece of tat.
3. Polska GREEN STONE LARIAT CROSS NECKLACE IN GOLD. The business never posted it and never communicated with W&B customer services. Alvin from customer services deserves credit for pursuing it but Polska (who I don’t believe were really in the UK at all) never responded to him and I see their shop has now disappeared from W&B. In the end I ran out of patience and asked for and received from W&B which I received about a month after the item should have arrived - 6 weeks after I’d ordered it.
Things I have learnt: 1. out of 3 items ordered only one was a good experience in which the item was as described and value for money. 2. Don’t kid yourself items sold via W&B is some sort of guarantee of quality. We know when we buy on line sight unseen there is a degree of risk but I for one hope W&B sellers were in some way screened. If Kylie Harper was a physical shop and I would be marching in and demanding my money back - mind you I wouldn’t have paid more than £9.99 for it!! 3. W&B customer services are effective if a bit slow. I suspect their agents are handling a lot of cases. Alvin was lovely and helpful but would recommend you keep on top of any issues you raise. Don’t be afraid to ask for a refund fromW&B - I bought BECAUSE of it being W&B so even if the transaction was with an independent seller W&B had a responsibility to me.
