Wickes - Ruislip Reviews 

We were struggling to find a bracket in the Ruislip Wickes store when AJ suddenly came to our rescue! He was incredibly helpful, friendly and saved us so much time. Excellent customer service – thank you, AJ! You’re a credit to the team.

Very good service

Super customer care from AJ. I’ve just collected my click and collect paint from Wickes South Ruislip and AJ was very helpful. He put in a lot of effort to find the paint I had ordered. The extra effort is very much appreciated and saved me having to drive to the Ealing branch.

AJ was fantastic, really helpful even showing us around the shop and talking us through the options for what we were looking for but without any salesy pressure, just expertise and kind service.

Spoke to AJ on the phone to check if they had stock for paint.
He very kindly checked the shelves and confirmed that he would keep it aside for me.
This was extremely helpful as we’d been to other stores that showed the same paint was in stock but when we turned up they had sold out or not updated their stock.
Went to collect the paint and AJ and Harry were very helpful with the purchase and return.

AJ. He has not only got knowledge of pretty much everything in the store he has a great sense of humour and always goes out of his way to make sure I find exactly what I need for whatever crazy project I have decided to embark upon.
Quite often I see other members of staff dive behind the counter when I arrive in the store obviously trying hide. He is always eager to help and evidently a bit slow at hiding. 🤪

Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful at the Ruislip branch.

What made our experience great was the customer care we received from Waeil. From the home visit to walking us through the kitchen design process. Waeil made the whole process simple and easy. I would highly recommend Wickes Ruislip when looking to buy and install a new kitchen or bathroom.

Michal Asid was a great help.
When we arrived at Wickes we did not know what we wanted to do to upgrade our kitchen. After a quick chat with Michal, we were given great information. Michal was very helpful but not 'pushy'. The home visit was done calmly and professional.
We would certainly recommend his help to others.

I cannot fault the experience with Wickes so far .We went to a few Bathroom showrooms before Wickes and were met with very pushy design consultants who wanted to sell to us the most expensive products !!. In Michal, we found someone who was very understanding, not at all pushy who took care in designing a bathroom for my elderly parents with their critical needs in mind. Wickes have an impressive range to chose from. The Wickes fitters are also very professional (although the bathroom has not been fitted yet!) There is a dedicated customer experience co-ordinator who updates us regarding our order and installation date. Overall, a wonderful experience especially with Michal and would definitely recommend Wickes to anyone wanting a new bathroom

Bought an extractor fan online and the entire return process has been an absolute circus. Went to the store — flat refusal to take it back because it was a “supplier item”. Instead, I was told to chase customer service myself and arrange a collection.

Collection booked for Monday. Royal Mail didn’t bother turning up. Called Sunday — “don’t worry, it’s still happening”. Monday: nothing. Called again — “it’ll be Tuesday”. Tuesday: nothing again. Another call, another rebook, another day wasted.

All the while, Wickes won’t process a refund until the item is collected. So you’re stuck in limbo, wasting your time while they shrug their shoulders.

Customer service were polite, but utterly ineffective. Multiple trips to the store, several days sitting around waiting for phantom collections, and zero accountability from Wickes at any stage.

This whole experience has been a joke. I won’t be ordering online from Wickes again — save yourself the hassle and avoid.

Item picked up promised refund fast track not issued, emailed customer service to let them know the item was picked up.

Furthermore the reply on this thread is untrue no one from Wickes has reached out for more information to improve their service.

I've got diddly squat, clearly a company that does not care about their brand image and struggle to communicate. They like to show they care in the public eye but the truth is evidently very different.

I wanted to leave a review specifically for our kitchen designer Ritu from the Ruislip Branch, who has been absolutely fantastic throughout what has been a very challenging kitchen installation.

Unfortunately, while she was on holiday, a number of issues occurred with our installation, including ordering errors and delays that were completely outside of her control. When she returned, I explained everything that had happened, and she immediately stepped in to help. She has been incredibly supportive, patient, and accommodating, keeping in touch, chasing things up, and helping us navigate what became a very stressful situation.

We made several changes throughout the process, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for her. She listened, offered advice, and genuinely cared about helping us get the best outcome. Without her support, I honestly don’t know how we would have managed.

Although our overall installation experience was disappointing due to issues beyond her control, the service and professionalism she provided were outstanding. She is a real credit to Wickes, and I can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for our family.

I would like to commend and thank Rukhi for the great customer service she provided me with at the Ruislip Wickes branch this morning. Rukhi's advice helped me choose the paint I needed and saved me £10 into the bargain, so I'm a very happy shopper!
