I have been in Wickes Alton several times in the last few weeks while I'm working on a garden project. All the staff are helpful, especially Guyo who always goes the extra mile and makes sure I find everything I need, with a smile and banter like no other!

I appreciate the customer service that Guyo provided me on trying to find a paint product not stocked in store. His efforts to assist at least lightened the mood of a wasted journey. It was an unexpected welcome gesture.

Five stars to Guyo
I stopped by my local store to get some manure. I don’t usually shop at Wickes if there’s an alternative as I have previously found them poorly stocked and unhelpful. But Guyo was extremely helpful with my purchase and transporting it to the car. Wickes - if you had more staff like him I’d shop there more often!

Excellent Customer Service
I went in with a list but was not sure where to find everything I needed.
Then Guyo said could he help me, he had a warm smile and keen to help.
He helped me with everything even selecting the wood and checking it was straight.
He was polite and caring this is obviously part of his nature and not just a job. He is an asset to the Wickes team at Alton.
When I went to pay the queue was long he jumped on an extra till to help us all.

Winchester Wickes could learn a thing or two from the Alton store. The staff are so helpful and attentive and more importantly knowledgable. The lovely young guy Jack was a credit to the company as well as Guy, who carried my goods to my car and Yvette who gave me information on the product I brought. I had a very negative experience in the Winchester Branch. I spend a lot of money in Wickes

Alton wicks isn’t great for product or should I say lack off however thank you so much to Guyo 100% without a doubt the most helpful staff member. Our visit today was made an enjoyable experience when we met one of the staff his name was Guyo.
Guyo was not only a big help giving us advice on some products but also asked if we were Wickes trade members. He helped us join being very patient lol and also saving us 10% off our purchase.
