In the four years I've been collecting coins and other memorabilia, I have always found them to be understanding, considerate, and very knowledgeable when offering new items to add to my ever growing collection. I cannot find anything to fault them on. I would highly recommend them to you whether you a new collector just starting out, or an established collector, you cannot go far wrong with Westminster Collections.

This company always deals with my orders in a timely manner, I receive regular updates from them on up to date offers on coin sets. My coins come well packaged so I receive my coins in pristine condition. They also have a excellent customer service willing to help customers in anyway they can.

This company this makes there money in signing you to a subscription that you are unaware of, then each month send coins that are worth no more then 50p and charge you £26-£33 monthly. When you try and cancel the subscription they make it in possible to find this and then start a task of issuing a new password, its a total scam, and been difficult in getting your money back. I have sent coins back with no reply.

I ordered a centenary of Queen commotative coin from Westminster collection online. There was no indication I was signing up for a subscription. Upon noticing more money being taken from my bank account I queried this. After my query I was advised they would cancel my subscription and refund me once they had received my 2nd coin back. I am now in the process of returning the coin via free Royal mail service. Gorgeous coin, but an offer not very clear about the subscription. Westminster do better, be clear about the subscription so customers can make an informed decision rather than finding out a month down the line.

Last week I noticed an unauthorised charge on my credit card of £22.98 from The Westminster Collection. On speaking with customer services they said it was for an ongoing service I had signed up for. Despite the fact that I had only had a telephone conversation with them to order a "free" Spitfire badge, I had given them my credit card details to pay £1.99 for delivery of said badge. At no time, did I agree verbally or in writing to an ongoing service. Today I have received a package from them (which I have not opened). I believe this is Inertia Selling which is banned under the Consumer Protection Act and Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
As this is an unauthorised charge, I request the unsolicited item be collected from my address and a full refund issued. Also, my name, address and bank details be deleted from your records.
To stop any further charges being taken from my account, I have had to cancel my credit card. When I hear back from you, I will give you details of where to send my refund.
This raises serious concerns around your billing practices and transparency.

I bought a £1 coin and can honestly say, I didn't see anything about a further subscription. Then a letter lands at my door saying payment declined (thankfully), and in the same delivery, a giant A4 parcel containing what turned out to be a 50p I'd inadvertently agreed to pay £30 for. I admit to not seeing, and therefore not reading, any small print relating to a subscription. The web page has the following description off to the side of the details of the actual coin you're buying: "By ordering the Inaugural Royal Pound, you gain priority
access to the QEII Centenary Dual-Plated 50p Collection". Gaining priority access, in my opinion, does not equate to "You are signing up for this subscription", so a little sneaky on their part. Also, if you're free to cancel at any point, and the company are kind enough to allow free returns, they could possibly send an automated email - like many other businesses when you sign up for a subscription - to remind you that it is in place, and due to be paid for and delivered. I ordered my £1 coin in March, and this item was then charged and delivered in May. An email in April reminding me (and by that I mean making me aware for this first time, as I was not), would have gone a long way. Now it's just a waste of time on everyone's part, as they've sent it out, only for me to have to return it :-\ I love their coins, just not enough to pay £30 for a 50p piece.

I've used The Westminster Collection, on and off for about 35 years and rarely have i had an issue. If I have, they have always been very quick to resolve.
The website is easy to navigate and ordering is simple.
Once placed, emails keep you well informed from order to dispatch. It is also easy to find in your online account.
As a warning, if you place an order for an "Introductory" offer, 50p for 50p or £2 for £2, read the small print. It is pretty clear, but 99% of the time these will have signed you up to a subscription. It's a business and how they make their money. The order confirmation email will state this, but you can easily see subscriptions in your account and cancel if required.
If you need to return an item, you have 30 days and it is an easy process.
My negatives are:
Firstly, although the coins come in cards or pouches, if in a pouch, they should ALL be in capsules which some are not, why?
Secondly, the envelopes they're delivered in are not always sealed, why? If people are dishonest, then Westminster could be out of pocket. Surely this is a simple fix.
Finally, historic order coin information pages should be available in your account as they are with sites like The Royal Mint. Unfortunately once the item is sold out, the item information page, images and details are removed.

Ordered a couple of coins approx. £50.
It was a single small package and combined postage just over £4 charged.
No updates of order status or that is had been despatched on apparently 15/05/26. Arrived on 20/05/26 as basic royal mail postage. As a private individual I can send a parcel this size for £4, 48 hour fully tracked.
Very poor and this is my last time I will use them.

DO NOT order anything from this company! My partner ordered a coin from this place as a birthday present and they have subscribed her for £30 a month, which took 3 months before we realised, can't even send them back as they have been sent directly to the recepient and we don't have them. Looked at the page and it doesn't make it very clear and is loaded with text to distract you.

This company has a sneaky way of tricking people into taking collections they don't want, I took up the offer of the free Spitfire Badge, and without realising it, I got conned into signing up to a subscription/collection that I don't want, or even asked for, I only found out about the collection when the money went missing from my bank account, I would have appreciated if this company could make sure people either wanted or didn't want a collection without just jumping in, and grabbing people's money, it's a dirty sneaky underhand way of getting money out of people, I don't like it, The Westminster Collection needs to make it a whole lot clearer, perhaps in large bold letters if someone wants this collection, not hidden away, where a Disabled person with bad eyes can't see it clearly, I wont get caught out like this again, I'll never take up any offer from this company ever again, I only deal with decent companies, and now, I've got to wait till The Westminster Collection decides I can have my money back or not, it'll probably be nearer August Bank Holiday before I see one penny of my money again, they should refund my money right away, but no, they sent the collection without me knowing, took the money without me knowing, and now, I've to wait up to five days before the item, whatever it is, gets here, then I return it, and then I've to wait till it goes through the Westminster Collection system, gets lost, and I never get a penny back, I've been up against this before where I returned something, it got lost in this other company's system, and I never got my money back, will Westminster Collection be the same, I've got to hope, wait and see, maybe, they should maybe try a system whereby, if an elderly person accidentally checks or perhaps doesn't check to stop any collection, give the elderly person a call, just to make sure, not simply go grabbing money, perhaps the elderly person cannot afford to lose, Westminster Collection is not to be trusted, I'll never buy anything from them again

Don't forget to cancel subscription if you only asked for the free item. Other than that it appears good value.
