Absolute nightmare! 12 years down the road and they have put a block on my license renewal with no apparent reason! They come at you with a team of lawyers, for one elderly person! Shame on you all!

I had appalling service from wesbank

I had appalling service from wesbank! My brother passed away in 2019 and till now my questions have still not been resolved. Wesbank employees leave work pre closing time and then you are left hanging on the line from 4pm and you are left with a useless call center. Wesbank shouldn't advertise closing at 17:00 if they will not be able to deliver the service. The legal department is the worst and having to have traveled from the Eastern Cape to Gauteng just for mere assistance feels like a slap in the space. The reason for traveling this far is due to how they respond over the phone yet when you get here they still don't respond. It would be nice if the employees were more sensitive and respected people's time.

I am utterly disappointed with the…

I am utterly disappointed with the abysmal service I received from WesBank. My recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about their incompetence and lack of professionalism.

First and foremost, I was a victim of double debiting by WesBank. Imagine my shock when I noticed not one, but two identical debits for the same transaction on my bank statement. This error left me in a state of financial distress, as it significantly impacted my available funds and caused unnecessary stress. While mistakes can happen, it's how a company handles these mistakes that truly defines their integrity.

I promptly contacted WesBank's customer service, or what they dare to call "customer service," hoping for a swift resolution. What followed was a saga of never-ending hold times, vague responses, and blatant disregard for my situation. It's clear that they have no sense of urgency when it comes to rectifying their own mistakes.

To add insult to injury, despite acknowledging the error on their part, WesBank failed to provide a concrete timeline for when I could expect a refund. Their lack of transparency only fueled my frustration and skepticism towards their intentions.

I found myself sinking deeper into financial strain due to their negligence. It took an absurd amount of effort and persistence on my end to finally receive my refund, and even then, it was a mere fraction of the inconvenience they caused me.

What's more astonishing is that my experience is not an isolated incident. A quick search online reveals a plethora of similar horror stories from other WesBank customers who have fallen victim to their double debiting scheme and lackluster customer service. It's evident that WesBank's internal processes are flawed and their commitment to customer satisfaction is non-existent.

In conclusion, my encounter with WesBank has left me utterly disillusioned and infuriated. Their inability to handle basic transactions without errors and their total disregard for customer well-being are disgraceful. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice, as you might just find yourself caught in their web of negligence and poor service, regretting your decision like I do now.

Wesbank Review

I have financed a vehicle through Wesbank. For the most part they're the same as other banks.
However, when I paid up my car in order to get the papers, it is as if they need to keep the car on the banks name as an asset. Their workers are not bothered to help you. I have repeatedly sent emails asking if they have all documents required and no response. Honestly, if you can choose any other bank over them please do. You will have difficulty with Wesbank.

I am very unsatisied with the "new" Wesbank-access for dealerships. After 22 years of making use of Wesban, and the Dealer Self-Help service, I am now simply told things have changed, but NOT exactly what to do, to access information as before. I try repeatedly to Login as before, and get blocked after 3 attempts. *The information provided, IS the last information used before! Just to get a settlement on an account, now takes for ever, with much frustration and many attampts.
