I certainly tried to respond to some of your complaints but this site doesn’t allow it. WD Styles is scamming so if you’ve already purchased you’re probably screwed and if you haven’t DO NOT DO IT!! They took my money sent me nothing and lied several times about my refund. At a point they just said “Hey you’re not getting any money back” and that was the end. BBB was a complete waste of time thy did absolutely nothing. So DO NOT SHOP HERE AND WARN YOUR FRIENDS.

Why is it impossible to register their products? I tried using a PC, IPAD, AND IPHONE. The registration page would not accept a photo of the receipt. I even changed file types. I don’t have any trouble with drive I purchased. It is only the website that is the problem.

WD STYLES customers beware this company…

WD STYLES customers beware this company seem to be a like a criminal organization fronting itself as a Clothing business, has no real customer relation, office address, direct company phone number, the only have people who front themselves to answer their calls but have no real business relationship with them. I personally ordered a suit from them since January, till date I have exchange email multiple times without any result with names like ALEX W, Sophie, I had persistently ask to get this material and or a refund, sometimes the will respond appear to be doing something in that regard, but they are not. I feel scammed and an not going to let if fly, I will do everything to ensure I get my refund or my order. This people are heartless and unfriendly, shoddy in business dealings please be very careful with WD Styles. they are waiting to get a carrier to ship my order since 10th of January, 2023

Wow WD and Sandisk are terrible.

Wow looking at the other reviews I was really suprised, Sandisk should be at least a 4 star company. My Sandisk SSD stopped working and I sent it back under warranty. A month later UPS (Sandisks partner) sent the empty envelope back, someone had slashed open the parcel and stolen the drive!!!!

UPS have been less than aweful, with their systems not working for a claim. So Sandisk/Western digital at least said they would replace the drive. So from early December 22 to March 23 nothing has happened! I have chased via emails and directly on their horrible customer portal and the answer is always the same. They say it is being processed and I will receive shipping details shortly and every time nothing. I won’t hold my breath for the £109 lost by UPS and Sandisk/Western Digital

My Replacement Process Experience with WD

The Process of my Hard Drive Replacement has been very easy. First of all thanks a lot to WD and its Team for creating such an Easy Replacement Procedure. My Experience with WD has been very great till now. I have not faced any such issues till now with any of the services of WD. The Replacement Process was so easy that I generated my RMA No within minutes. Then I just took the Drive to my Nearest Drop Off Location and gave it there and all sorted. It was the Next Day I received the Message that My Drive has been Submitted and the next day I received a Email that my Drive has been shipped by WD. I was surprised to see such a Rapid Service given by WD. I thought the Courier Partner would not be Good but when I checked it was Blue Dart and later I got to know that my Drive Was sent by Air. I received my drive within 3 - 4 Days and I was happy that the New Drive was completely sealed pack and new and no I found no damages or scratches on it. Loved the Service given by WD to me. But before concluding my Review I would like to say that the Nearest Drop Off location from my house was 80kms. So I Request WD to start the Pickup service of the Product directly from the user. So if a person lives in a very remote location then the User would not have the bare the Headache of Submitting the Drive. I am saying this because If a person has bought any Product from WD then he has paid a price for that product which is not low. So the Pick-up service of the Product should be Started by WD. At last now I would like to say that I will rate the experience between WD and me would be 4 stars out of 5 just because I had to Travel 80kms for Submitting a Drive. Else everything was Ok.

AVOID WD - customer support is non-existent - they don't care.

Yeah - so much for WD help/support. New drive 4TB less than a year old. I have to pay for data recovery. I have to pay to ship back. Really? Read the BBB complaints - guess they're slow to respond - if they do. No more! Really don't want a freaking replacement - why - so I have to pay for everything? Nah.... don't think so. My advice - AVOID BUYING WD!

DO NOT BUY WD PRODUCTS!!

I purchased a WD Blue PC SSD 500GB. After 3 months of very lite use on my gaming laptop (I don't game I do programming stuff) without any reason I heard a noise that came from the laptop and realized that my SSD stopped showing up. I tried another SSD that I had and it was working with no problem. I called them 2-3 times and told them what happened. I still had a warranty because the SSD was only 3 months old. They accepted to replace my SSD and I sent the package using USPS. I tracked my item and it shows on the USPS website that the item arrived and, when I go to the WD website I see nothing that gives me any type of arrival date or status of my item. I haven't heard from them since then. I want my product back I spent $50 on that item and I am a student it is a lot for me. NEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM!!!!!

Sandisk/Western Digital never again!

Western Digital received my non-working Sandisk Memory Card on 2nd December 2022. These cards come with a lifetime warranty. Western Digital agreed to replace the card within 2-3 days for assessment and 2-3 days to be verified and replaced. It is now 9th February and the card has still not been replaced. I have sent numerous emails and received ridiculous replies; the oddest comment was that they were out of stock! I have been promised that my claim would be treat as a priority, Would I buy a Sandisk or WD product again? No!

Good products

Good products, customer service is a mixed bag. I had a cancelled order attempted to be delivered but the UPS tracking was wrong in several places, no one ever showed up at the claimed time, it was then claimed to be returned to the depot, and I had to explain the issue several times to show them I was not trying to commit fraud! I had an issue with a cable from another order, and it took a while to get them to understand what the issue was, as there are limited options in their support centre, none matching my problem, but they sent me a replacement, albeit it was white not black but that doesn't matter too much. USB cables seem to be their weak point, the drives are great, I had a few other USB cables underperforming but I just upgraded them to longer lengths which is what a lot of people do.

External hard drive suddenly not working

I have a "WD My Book" external hard drive that I use to sync my files, pictures, etc., so I have a backup. Exactly what you want to use an external hard drive for…

But when I have to update Windows, I check my external hard drive and all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore! I don't know how long it's been going on, but glad I checked...

I tried to contact WD support and their short answer was that since the product is out of warranty they can't/won't help.

It makes no sense in my world that you have to check your external hard drive continuously like that. It just has to work!
And why make some software for your product that suddenly doesn't work?

Either way, I'll have to buy a new external hard drive. And it will definitely not me WD.

I ordered a passport ultra 5GB on 11/27…

I ordered a passport ultra 5GB on 11/27 and no mention of back order when I placed the order. Then shortly AFTER I received an email it was on back order. Also, still receiving emails that it's still on back order for now over 1 1/2 months. Also, can't cancel the order online. I have to call them to cancel this order. Thanks so much WD. Also, I can miraculously get it from Amazon today same day if I order it from them. I tried to place a review on their website and they disallowed it. I guess the truth hurts!!!!!! Latest update: finally got the drive yesterday after many more attempts on my part. I realized they also billed me several weeks before it was shipped. Not good!

BUYERS BEWARE

BUYERS BEWARE! I ordered a blazer 12/3/2022 and didn't receive it til 1/2/2023. The quality of this blazer was nothing at all what I expected. I was also charged again on my account on 1/4/2023 for something that I have no idea and didn't authorize. Can't call they just expect you to go off emails and email an Alex. Very poor service and quality.
