Luke was great happy chatty guy

Good communication on dispatch and delivery and timing.
Took about a full day to erect, two people advised on election and at least 1mtre around the circumference to get screws in, read instructions carefully as I put the roof beams in upside down and also some holes don't line up.
Good value for money a bit flimsy till erected and easly creases.
Overall very satisfied for it's cost and purpose.

Great product and delivered on time, few pieces with cracks and splits which are apparently something you need to accept, our carpenter had to replace a few bits at our cost

I hate writing bad reviews but when I purchased a 8x6 shed from Waltons, I expected to get a quality product that would last me a for a good few years, especially when their site tells you "Waltons is the nation's longest-running garden building retailer. We've been designing and manufacturing affordable and great quality sheds".

This was purchased through The Range website, but having spoken to The Range they advised that the order goes direct to Waltons.

I may have only spent £500 on my 8x6 Shed with 4x windows, however, £500 is still a lot of money for most people and would still expect the quality they guarantee.

When the shed arrived, I was excited to check it out so I could plan to erect the shed the following day, but when I checked the quality and craftsmanship of the panels, I discovered that they certainly was not made to any standard or quality.

Each panel had gaps and hole in them and honestly looked like Walton's had rummaged through someone's skip finding old fence panels to use.

The wood looked green and old, and the window frame was absolutely shocking, nails sticking out and bent over and the top strip of wood of the window frame was twisted in opposite directions each end.

The window panes themselves...what a joke, they were 1mm thick Perspex that would not take much of a beating and was very flimsy.

the OSB floor was not sturdy and sounded like it was cracking/creaking which seemed like it would not take much weight.

Looking at the sub-quality product they had provided me, it would have taken me another few hundred pounds to rectify the issues.

I decided to request a refund, The Range agreed but said they could not get a response from Waltons regarding the refund/collection.

We finally got a collection date of 04/08/2026, called MGP (Mercia Group) who handles Waltons' deliveries and collections on 03/08/2026 for a rough time for collection as their portal was not recognising the collection, they advised that they were not able to tell me when it was being collected but I would get a text with a 2-hour timeslot on the day of collection and it likely would be one of the last slots as they deliver before they collect.

Today (04/08/2026), we get a text message at 6:45 saying that it will be collect between 7:50am and 9:50am.

We had the shed outside on the drive ready by 7:20.

8:50am today, a message came through on the portal (that finally worked) saying the Driver could not pick up the item as it wasn't there... which it definitely was.

Having phoned Mercia GP regarding this, and they said that the driver had put the job back at 7:30am saying "unable to complete collection due to: you wanting to keep the item is this correct?" - wait what? why would I want to keep it, why would the driver come before the 2-hour slot and claim it's not there and why would the driver not knock on the door to enquire where it is?

Asked to speak to the manager to escalate and got the usual auto-response of "All the managers are in a meeting at the moment".. I work in customer services so I know this is just a line and not true. They said they will get a manager to call me this morning when they are free, still waiting!

Called Waltons to explain what was going on and to my surprise...Mercia GP are Waltons' sister company and have the same customer service team apparently.

Totally NOT happy with this, have purchased a new shed with a company and it has arrived and is 100% better quality and craftsmanship, and still only spent the same amount.

Will definitely NOT be purchasing another Walton Shed or building and will go with their rival Shed company as they definitely believe in quality and customer service.

Delivery driver was very helpful and delivered everything in an organised manner making it easier for the customer.

Such a fantastic gentleman! He delivered the entire item first thing in the morning with a big smile on his face. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and lovely to have a chat with. Everything was handled so professionally and efficiently. You can really tell he takes pride in what he does. Excellent service from start to finish — highly recommended

Paul the delivery driver was great all good experience

Great delivery, kept informed of delivery time so was able to manage my time around work. The driver Paul was on time. Paul unloaded my log cabin into my garden which they normally just deliver road side. I helped with the unloading so didn’t take that long. Paul found a fault with the door so took photos and will report back so a replacement can be sent. Paul was very helpful when I was asking questions about building the log cabin. Perfect delivery A+ would highly recommend

Really disappointed in all honesty. Paid £417 for a shed and a base, for my allotment. This was a big expense given what it was purchased for.

The delivery company were fantastic, so cannot fault them. However, the quality of the shed itself is just absolutely shocking. I had it installed on the weekend by local builders who also commented on the poor state of the shed. Given I had paid for them to install it, I didn’t feel it appropriate to send them away so we put the shed up anyway. I wish I didn’t. The panels have huge gaps in, and it is nowhere near watertight. All the panels also have holes in the wood (I appreciate wood is a natural material, but it is far below the standard expected). The gaps in the panels are also appalling, an animal could fit through them.

We also followed the guidance in the warranty information and applied a wood preserver and waterproof wood treatment, again I wish we didn’t bother as the shed looks 100% times worse where the products have clung to the poor quality wood.

The instructions are also appalling, and didn’t cover everything that was required. Feel like I wasted a large amount of money to be honest.

Whilst I will be the first to acknowledge the customer service has been very good, the actual shed itself is absolutely shocking quality. My husband and father-in-law didn't even manage to get it built in 7 hours due to all the issues they came across. From the off the door wouldn't fit in the hole and had to be planed in order to get it to fit. The base of the shed is warped, as were the roof parts. We've had to fit the roof as best we can but it's so out of line the back will need to planed in order to fit the felt and finish with the apex batons. My father-in-law is in his 70's and said he has never built or seen such a badly manufactured shed in all his life. Yes, you can argue that I should have got it collected for a replacement or refund but I honestly do not believe a replacement would have been any better and I was working to a deadline. So I'm afraid this is my first and last Walton's purchase and I wouldn't recommend them.

Great service and great product, delivery was on time, slight damage to roof panel but quickly fixed and a further discount given. Looks great now it’s up and painted.

Reviewed this company and tried to say I sent to the wrong company, total rubbish, there wood is so badly warped near impossible to assemble Do Not use Steer clear.

Had to return it. Lousy quality, cracked, green colour. Delivered at 4.59am with no message dumped at my house and message at 7 am saying the delivery would be made 5-7 am. A disgrace. Went to another company and got a brilliant shed and helpful delivery.

Everything went without a hitch and delivery driver was very helpful keeping me updated on delivery time.

Not at all impressive service.
The whole process has been a nightmare I’d say start to finish but it’s unfinished
Took 2 months to get the shed
Then they fitted it and left it damaged and broken
After two months I’m still waiting for a reply which takes a week to ten days then you get an email to logon to portal and reply
Absolute nonsense
I would not recommend this company at all
