Express delivery but very offer free installation and when they deliver the washing machine the delivery person said it's not his job.

I bought 3 gift sets totally £120 (not inc p&p) from Very by a famous person, home made products including 2 beers, crisps, fudge, honeycomb from Diddly Squat Farm.
There were 3 reviews there 5/5.
I thought I would buy two for gifts and one as a treat for myself and my two boys.
I did a review of 3/5 and even though Very said they would put up reviews good or bad, they would not accept my review.
I was honest and not malicious. There was nothing wrong in what I had put. They said because I had put about its contents inside the box. To edit my review.
I said the bows on the gift box came in different colours not like as shown and should have said this in the description as they were gifts.
Also said nowhere online on Very did it say the use by dates for the products. The crisps were to use by Oct 2026 (2 months time), rest of products June 2027.
I put the crisps were 2 individual small bags (online a review said big bags of full crisps).
I also said that online and even in the description it said & showed a picture of a packet of honeycomb saying 'Bee Bites'. Chocolate covered round pieces of honeycomb. We never got that.
What we got instead was a bag of the honeycomb saying 'Little Sheeps Turds' a picture of a sheep showing his bottom and below poop. The see through bag showed the chocolate covered honeycomb in the shape of sheeps poop.
This isnt really ideal for one of the people Im gifting it to.
I didnt even mention in the review that the honeycomb didnt even taste that nice. Me and my boys love honeycomb but it tasted really cheap, the same with the chocolate.
I didnt mention in the review that the fudge we got was tiny, online picture great big squares. It did taste nice though.
The ready salted packet of crisps tasted bland. I didnt mention all that in the review as everyones taste is different.
By oh no, Very wouldnt accept my review. I changed it three times. Then they said to re-do my review for the 4th time I didnt bother.
Its like if they didnt get 5/5 stars and a sparkling review for this product they wouldnt put it up.
I gave 3 stars, but deep down was thinking 2 to begin with.
The other thing I always pay Very £100 a month (each 3 payments towards your balance then no interest), my new order was £120. So my balance this month should have been £140.00. But no, Very wants £175. It should be that if my new order was £225.

Slow dispatch, took a few days extra than I expected and I’m used too from the likes of Amazon.

Delivery always on time if not before the estimated date. Quality of goods superb.

Received a damaged cooker on delivery and had to repurchase the cooker and wait for an inspection to be done on the old one. Awaiting outcome

Easy to order and good service, goods arrived when and as expected

Ordered, informed it was at my collection point and collected.
Only issue was I paid £39 and then found it on AX Paris for £27.99.
Was a bit annoyed but had worn it to a do so couldn’t return it.

On the whole everything was or seemed fine but unpacking the said oven it was severely damaged, delivery was quick and smooth we thought and the ordering and information was very good and easy, but it set us back with no cooker and having young mouths to feed was a little bit hectic hopefully the one I receive today will be in tact

Have used Very for years and always found them easy to deal with . A wide range of products are available and delivery is always on time and kept informed of its expected arrival . There is a facility for it to be delivered to inpost I think but I’ve never used that . Returns are easy and go via yodel parcel shop which is available in my village .

All in all an excellent company with a wide range of products which I feel are fairly priced and good quality. Any issues are swiftly resolved by customer services .

some of my order was correct but one item is not the colour i ordered, which is quite unusual for very as usually everything ive ordered in the past has been spot on
