Exvellent experience - Above expectations

My house was built in 2002 and I was the second owner having moved in during 2007.
The house has two Velux Windows which were fine until August 2025 when one of the glazing units failed and the internal glass fractured. I was advised by a local installer (unconnected with Velux) to contact them direct.
Having spoken to a Velux agent, I was advised that there was a known fault regarding the model window we had and following the completion of a template was advised I would be contacted later on. After two days, I was advised that a Velux fitter would be coming to me in order to replace both window units free of charge. The fact that Velux accepted responsibility for a 22 year old fault and took measures to rectify it without charge in my opinion is amazing. I can only base my review on my iwn personal experience, however I was highly pleased with the service and response I reveived

Excellent technical support

For the second time we have experienced exceptional support from the technical help line and video call set up. Really can’t praise the team enough for helping us solve issues we encountered during use of the products.

I’m very disappointed in the quality delivery cost.

I’m very disappointed in the quality , the delivery and the service. I wish I had bout an alternative half the price cheaper blind that my daughter bought. When I do finally receive my missing parts I Hope never to deal with this company again. 10 years ago this was such a different experience.

A very helpful representative Mikey listened to my problem with a new blind I had purchased and by using a video call see the cause and propose a solution by immediate replacement

Excellent service from Velux technical services

Mikey from Velux's Technical Services was extremely helpful, especially in giving reassurance to our builders regarding the installation of our windows. Also, he was able to help resolve a separate matter which was strictly speaking a supplier issue

Mikey was extremely helpful and even video called me to help to remedy the problem I had with my top hung velux windows.I have to say as customer service goes this was the best experience I’ve had in a long time .

Good quality products

I have always found Velux products to be well made and good quality having installed them in a number of properties, I recently had a problem with solar blinds and although the initial customer service response was not wholly positive, once Logan got onto it, the experience was improved dramatically and the problem swiftly resolved to my complete satisfaction.

Fantastic Customer Service

After struggling find anyone online who could help I eventually called Velux direct, Both Windows stopped working but blinds still worked . Spoke to a Fantastic customer support person called Carolin ( Hopefully spelt correctly ) She talked me through the whole procedure and how to reset and now both working great.

Thank you Carolin you were a great help and a credit to your company.

I have installed Velux windows for over…

I have installed Velux windows for over 40 years both in UK and Australia. The window quality in particular for VC skylight range ( opening roof windows)
I have notice over the last few years little bits of rubber being added to some different spots. This seems like a very nasty cheap fix. Velux know there is an issue with this style of window and have being adding bits of rubber for years now possible since hinge mechanism changed. I find it very disappointing in such great company that this is going on. Please fix the issues and get rid of little add on bits of rubber. Also when the winder mechanism changed (for the worse )they move the position of hook or eyelet on window, I am pretty sure they know this is an issue as well it has become much harder to open and close windows to the extent they sell an extra fixture to try and fix this. Please have a look at these windows and fix.

Had 2 windows worth £3500 worth of…

Had 2 windows worth £3500 worth of velux windows arrive on site .
One wouldn't open . I phoned velux , it's basically their attitude that if there is anything wrong with their product it's up to the guy fitting to loose money to rectify any issues . If you can't do it it's a 5 week wait for anyone to do anything .
Mean while the whole site has to go on stop , no one gets paid customers had to cancel kitchen fitter , plaster ect . And velux attitude seems to that it's not their problem .
So I've packed up and gone home because I'm not getting paid to fix velux window issues . Poor customer , my hands are completely tied and no one at velux cares .

Great experience with velux

Ordered 3 velux windows including a cabrio, and blinds for each. Windows are great. Blinds were delivered quickly and have been very easy to fit myself. Took about an hour a half to fit all 4 blinds. Definitely recommend velux and their products
