Taxis have been pre booked for the morning school run.. not once have they ever been on time and I'm not talking a few minutes late!! Literally half an hour after the booked time they're arriving then once in the taxi they're taking the longest way!!!! Joke of a taxi service!!!
We pre booked a taxi a week before we were needing it but still turned up an hour and a half late. The first time we rang the company, they said they would dispatch the taxi straight away. About 30minutes later still no show so we rang again and were told their drivers were “self employed” and it’s not their responsibility for when the taxis leave and drivers leave whenever they want, even if a booking was made for a specific time. Will definitely not use the service again as were not helpful or apologetic whatsoever.
Excellent service today ...can't remember her name sorry but purple skoda...chatty very pleasant driver..made my trip to and from my dental very calm ..THANKYOU
Value cabs have been filmed on more than one occassion bringing illegals down to Ipas centre in Dublin from belfast port and airport seems to always be foreign drivers (pakistani) facilitating this illegal activity can you explain? Are they getting some sort of backpmt for this illegal activity?
On 17 July 2024c I booked a taxi to meet us at Glengall Street as we were returning at 12.45am on the airport bus from Dublin Airport. I got very quick and helpful replies by email. I got the time wrong but Valuecabs sorted us out as soon as we arrived at Glengall Street. The driver was really helpful and pleasant as we were exhausted from travelling. I would strongly recommend the company.
I booked a taxi 24 Hours in advance for early next morning at 4.40am. The next day it didn't arrive and when I called they didn't answer. I got a text saying they were having trouble with finding a driver. I was concerned as I had to make a bus going to Dublin to go on holiday and I had to make it. They didn't turn up. I had to get my partner up and to drove me there which was ridiculous!! When I just made the bus and was travelling down to Dublin, Value Cabs called me and asked did I still want the taxi? I said no because they didn't turn up and I had to make alternative arrangements. They just then hung up. An overall awful experience and will never be using them again. So unprofessional and a complete waste of my time with no apology or anything. Disaster and I couldn't be more unimpressed. Never again.
S**** - waited an hour on a booking 6 drivers offered and rejected, had to cancel and go with fona cab,
Booked taxi over an hour in advance. Taxi was 30 mins late. Driver was exceptionally rude saying we should have booked earlier and it was traffic. He was so aggressive I wouldn’t travel with him and missed a dinner reservation. We are staying at a hotel and have advised they do not use the firm agai
Booked a taxi on the App and booking was accepted. I rang twice and got that awful automated message. After almost an hour they just cancelled!!! Meanwhile empty taxis drove up and down the road past us! Obviously greedy for short journeys instead of 6 miles! I have a disability meaning I can’t walk or stand too long without being in pain. So thanks for the dreadful service Value Cabs. I will never use you again. App deleted!!!
Just used Value Cabs in Belfast.Driver 101 was very punctual, professional and smart.Very comfortable journey back to my hotel, nice conversation about my holiday this week
Would recommend Value Cabs to anyone visiting/ needing a taxi
I tried to pre-book a wheelchair accessible taxi days in advance and was told that wheelchair accessible taxis could only be booked on the day rather than in advance. Rang valuecabs, on the day of my doctor’s appointment and was told that no taxis were available.Really! In Belfast, not one wheelchair accessible taxi can be found with an eight hour advance booking.Dreadful!
Booked a taxi for today at 10am. It didn’t arrive. I rang valuecabs and was told that they didn’t have any drivers in the area but someone had just picked up the job and would be with me shortly. 20 mins later, I gave up and my aunt took me to the airport.
What is the point of booking a car if they just say they can’t do it when the time actually comes. That is less than useless. A booking is a booking and should be prioritised.
I won’t use this firm again.
Taxi drove by and cancelled order. Ordered a second one and same thing occurred. Don't respect pre bookings and your confirmed order means nothing to the driver or the depot. Avoid if you can.
I tried to pre book a taxi for pickup from George Best Airport as I had to catch a coach to Dublin from Glengall St - was told there are “always” taxis at the taxi rank. Even though I explained I was Not arriving on a flight, I was dropping off a car hire.
Needless to say I waited half hour—NO taxis. An employee called the cab company a taxi came.almost missed the Dublin bus
Next time I will it’s book with another firm.
What a terrible service. Booked a taxi the evening before for 5 am on their awful automated service. Taxi never turned up. I rang at 5 to receive an automated message saying they were still locating me a taxi and couldn’t give me a timeframe. Had to get in my car and drive to the airport and when I got to the airport, I then received a call saying they had arrived. How does this company even exist???
Waste of time pre-booking a taxi at a scheduled time. No show, very disappointed with the service.
Pre booked a taxi through the valuecab app for 1am & money taken from account. The taxi was never dispatched and never came. I got a text to apologise for the delay and my booking would be prioritised. After an hour my booking simply disappeared and money returned to account... not home until 3am .. terrible service! If valuecabs wish to get in contact with me me I'd be more than happy to discuss it.
On time on picking us up but the meter reading said: £7.40, gave £10 cash, I waited inside the car but driver didn’t give any change. Asked about the change but driver pretended not to hear me and just bid me enjoy your journey…so that was it. Thank you driver of grey skoda reg no. SRZ 8325 - you keep the change…maybe you need the money desperately.
If Valuecabs drivers want a bit of respect they need to earn it.
If they force other drivers to reverse as they have proceeded along a road knowing there were no passing points, theVERY LEAST they could do is to use simple manners - a simple please and thank you are the expected courtesies. Bullying women alone by bulldozing towards them is not a good look.
