HD Screen 'Andriod' Tablet

I do not believe that I received a genuine Android tablet from this company.

Whilst they state they are happy to offer a refund, I have established that they are a dropshipping operation from China.

Although their website states ".co.uk", returns must be sent internationally tracked to China.

On attempting a return, Royal Mail would not accept as it contains a lithium battery, and other carriers are charging more than the device is worth.

An enquiry to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice Consumer Service resulted in a reply of 'this query falls outside of our remit for specific advice as it appears the trader is based in China'.

When contacting my credit card company to attempt a chargeback, I was advised that 'it is with regret that whilst the goods remain in your possession, we are prevented from making representations to the retailer 's processing bankers'.

Therefore, purchase at your peril, as once it is in your possession, you can't actually do anything with it!

Really this company shouldn't even receive one star.

Cheaply Made and Overpriced

Like others I was led to this company by a scam review site. I tried to cancel within 24 hours once I realised. The tablet did arrive okay but the it’s clear that it’s cheaply made. Its processor is fast but it’s not going to last as it’s very plasticy. Taking it out of the protective case the plastic body came apart but fortunately snapped back in again. Very disappointed!

It was clear that they were never going to accept a return (I would have had to pay the return costs as there was “nothing wrong with it”. In the end I got 20% discount but still feel robbed!

I searched for reviews on tablet and was taken to this via a site falsely claiming it had good performance. Unfortunately I brought it.

Reviews are terrible.

I have tried to cancel the order, no reply.

This company is not in the UK

This company is not in the UK - they are in China. We tried to cancel the order with 24 hours and they didn't respond. When it arrived, they then said we had to pay full fees to send back to China. We reported to Trading Standards as the website gives impression of UK company.

Avoid this company …

I advise anyone not to use this company. The same product spec (Tablet) on Temu is at least 50% cheaper. I bought a unit from them and immediately suspected I had been scammed as there was no credible reviews about any of their products online and they provided invalid tracking data for the package when I chased delivery. I then activated a charge back with my CC company as a precaution. That's when they offered, by email, to refund me 50% if I lifted the chargeback. Once the item arrived (to my surprise) , I ran a series of tests on the internal component spec and found they were lower standard components found on units typically available 50-60% cheaper elsewhere. However as the item did arrive I then cancelled the chargeback on my CC and they received the full payment (my mistake). I now have a string of at least 30 emails between me and them lodging complaint about the product quality and chasing a 50% discount that they promised but, it appears, never intended to pay. As my old boss use to say 'its like whistling up a drainpipe'. They continued avoiding the refund they promised even after I provided snapshot evidence that they had been paid, and I have finally today run out of patience with the delay tactics (possibly exactly what they were hoping for). Oh and yes they use the brand name Aethertab UK, but they really ought to use the name Aether Asia, as they are not based anywhere near the UK. The product itself is unbranded both on the box and on the unit itself. My advice to anyone tempted by their fancy looking website is AVOID and research. Your money is best spent with another better known company. The 24 hour email service promised on their website is none existent. The order I placed was in the last week of January 2026. Today 20 March is the day I gave up on expecting to receive any further customer service from them (2 months in). As you may gather , I am less then pleased with this company's failed promises and service and only hope you don't fall into the same trap.
