Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 151 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, describing it as terrible, unhelpful, and unresponsive, often feeling like they were interacting with bots rather than real people. Customers frequently reported issues with products and games, including bugs, graphic errors, and games becoming unplayable or not launching at all. The Ubisoft Connect app and launcher were a major source of frustration, with users experiencing constant disconnections, infinite loading screens, crashes, and difficulties logging in or accessing their game libraries. People also expressed significant dissatisfaction with account recovery and security, as many were locked out of their accounts due to unauthorized access or system errors, and customers often experienced difficulties in receiving assistance to regain access, even with proof of ownership. Additionally, some customers found it impossible to redeem purchased games due to region issues or were forced to use the launcher even for games bought on other platforms, leading to further frustration. While a small group of people felt that the games themselves were good, the overall sentiment was that the company's services and support made the gaming experience extremely poor.

Ubisoft connect is bad (who guessed)

I have bought for Honor on like 3 separate occasions. I rebought it most recently on steam as it was on a huge sale and I'd like to have my hours on steam. Tried to log in and its now saying the account doesn't have access to the game, my other account does though. but I literally bought it on the account a few weeks ago and have been playing on that same account a few days ago. I want one account to play on specifically as it has all my old progress, I used the other account as a fresh start as at the time For Honor had no cross progression. I have contacted support but expecting to wait weeks to actually have my issuer resolved as my past experiences have been terrible. Absolutely atrocious launcher and so frustrating having to use it, I truly hope they get rid of it. Nobody likes it, unironically never heard a good thing about it.

This app will make you not want to game anymore

Wouldn't allow games to be played. The software won't uninstall (I went through everything, files, background apps running, the whole 9 yards). It's the biggest killer of trying to play games now. I actually don't want to play these games anymore after spending 10+ hours trying to play a game I looked forward to for 6 months.

Ubisoft is Useless and Incompetent

Just impossible to play The Crew Motorfest on Steam Deck
Keep disconnecting for no reason after 3 to 5 min of gaming.
Also when you want to make a claim on the Ubisoft Support, surprisingly you cannot do anything when you click the tab "Troubleshooting" then "technical Issues" you cannot type any text, upload any files. Just can't contact them...
If you contact the customer service they will just tell you they can't do anything, go find a solution on discord then close the case.
Which you can translate to "f*** off, find the problem yourself"

Very very disappointing and unprofessional.

Dumb decision from Ubisoft

I think it is incredibly stupid as well as unreasonable that I cannot access DLC that I have paid a decent amount of money for, in New Game + in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. What a dumb decision. Other game studios can make it work, but not Ubisoft?

Also, there are so many bugs and graphic errors now the game is verging on unplayable.

Ubisoft is by far the worst

Ubisoft is by far the worst, bring out a game, make as much money as they can from it then leave it to go to trash, rainbow six siege for example, over run by cheats and hackers, multiple reports with video proof yet nothing is ever done, it has declined more and more every month and has become unplayable.

Ubisfot Luancher - a terrible app

So it is not only that Ubisoft forces you to install their terrific launcher if you want to play their games at XBOX Gamepass, but half of the time it is not even working. Infinite loadings, crashes during the game for so called "connection issues" and then me not being able to run the game afterwards for hours. Well done Ubisoft, this is the last time I have paid you anything!

No support or help in customer service

No support or help in customer service. Just sending automated emails. They do not care about the client´s problems with Ubisoft, even when you are paying for a service or premium.

I hate you Ubisoft

The devs are not at fault but the people running the corporate side of ubi should be tried for treason. I hate these people so much they are so greedy that they ruin everything they come in contact with. People often say that capitalism is evil but don’t understand it. Ubisoft is the perfect example of that evil.

They do not care

I bought game on Steam and they force me to download launcher? Why? If CDprojectRED can put Witcher and Cyberpunk on GOG and do not force me to download it or to log in there. Ubi do not care about you enjoying game after you buy it. You must give them your info to them and log in every single time when you want to play again and again. They do not care about customers at all and punish them for using anything but their useless barely working launcher.

TO be brutally honest

TO be brutally honest - I think they are in the deep hole as of now because they lack some ideas! All they do is make a game and call it assassins creed and add a location, it was walhalla, mirage, origins, and etc, the locations are changing but the idea is still the same! I tried mirage and it;s not bad, but make sure to develop some new games with better ideas, you can do it.

Recent experiences have been appalling

Recent experiences have been appalling. Games are trahs and customer has been worse. No soul left anymore just a company trying to make as much money as possible. Perfect example of what could have been. But of course money comes 1st second and third when it comes to priorities.

Most crazy company ever

Most crazy company ever. Just paid top dollar for a new game. They force me to use their ubisoft connect service, which does not work well. Now I am locked out my account and it is suspended and I cannot play the game. The CORE thing of the company, make a game and ensure their customers can play it failed due to all the redundant things they want to do around. Please FOCUS on the basics.

Thank you
