I have just left a review on the Facebook Travelopo review site so won't type it all out again as that can easily be read. To sum up they are a booking agency and do not check the descriptions given to them by whichever company they book the Villa through. Ours was totally miss-sold, described as modern, elegant and luxurious. It was built in 1982 and hadn't been touched since then, we found out from the local agent (sub-contracted and sub-contracted again). She said her and her boss commented that whoever wrote it had clearly never been there. She also said they market it for considerably less. Our holiday was ruined and Travelopo have absolutely zero obligation to you at all (read the small print is my lesson here). They lost their ABTA accreditation a couple of years ago so no redress there either. I can't state strongly enough that you are taking a huge risk if you book through Travelopo. Having my wife and my friend's wife in tears and wanting to go home was not how I'd envisaged our holiday going. Nearly £8k ( just the Villa cost!), down the drain. Utterly disgraceful.

Me and my family of 17 (age ranges from 1 - 65) have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Vale de Parra, Portugal, Villa Norca. What can I say - Travelopo from the point of finding the villa and enquiring to communication throughout our booking were very helpful and responded very quickly to any e-mails I sent (especially Oana). The villa was just perfect for a large family who also wanted there own privacy as it is three separate villas. The grounds were well maintained and the pool with baby paddling pool were fabulous. When we arrived we had an issue with the air con and within 10 minutes of calling there was the manager of the maintenance company there to sort it out. Also, Beverley the property manager was very helpful and attentive especially helping us arranging our last day as we had to vacate the villa at 10 and had a late flight so she recommended and arranged a trip to Krazy World where we spent our last day which was a great end to a great holiday. All amenities are close by and a very helpful cab station just across the road ready to take you to Albufeira Old Town even a large group like us. I would highly recommend this villa and Travelopo.

My experience is dreadful, TRAVELOPO completely ruined my 2017 Summer Holiday, accept zero responsibility, but take your money.

I was charged a fee of about 60 € for booking an apartment, which was not available - I was informed about that some hours after booking. Totally unacceptable.

Matters have been resolved so in fairness I make this post.

Well, despite sending a 3 page letter to the Director of Travelopo and not getting the courtesy of a reply, they popped onto Trustpilot and complained I had used the Directors name in a review entitled 'Be careful', done back in January 2017.

So, they can look at Trustpilot and complain about customers, but won't do anything about customer complaints!! Directors name is in the public domain, so how they have the nerve....

Still if only one person decides not to use Travelopo because of my previous lengthy review, it's worth it. They've cost me over £1000, so i'd steer clear if I were you..

Had a great time in Mallorca staying in Son Macia and farmhouse was even more stunning than the pictures. Thanks for recommending a great farmhouse and hope to book again next year

Be careful with this agency that after booking with them on HomeAway they changed the conditions and canceled the reservation. You can not be quiet with your reservation.

We have just come back from a lovely week in a villa between Pollensa and Port Pollensa so easy to travel to each town within minutes. If you wanted peace and quiet this is the villa for you. You never heard a sound other than birds singing. It was a lovely two bedroomed villa one bedroom was like its own individual suite on the first floor. The second on the ground floor so it was as if you were in a apartment.

We have been to Pollensa many times and stayed in varies villas organised by Travelopo all over the area and they have all been lovely. They can offer really rural country properties to super modern. We had our own pool and beautiful garden with outside seating area/kitchen with barbeque and pizza oven. The price was very reasonable and the weather was great.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in a superb villa in the Pollenca area of Mallorca. Our travel dates were midweek and we were finding it difficult to find a suitable villa who would accept our dates until we found April at Travelopo who could actually offer us a choice. April's local knowledge helped us choose the right villa for our needs. The booking process was easy and travel information given promptly so it was easy to find the villa when we arrived. The location was super and we could explore the island when we could tear ourselves away from our 'haven of peace and tranquility'. The photos of the villa were accurate and exceeded our expectations. The interior of the villa was spacious, and very comfortable with lots of traditional details. The bathrooms were excellent with fluffy towels, There was a separate kitchen building with barbecue area and lots of outside seating areas. We loved the pool and hot tub set in the lovely garden. The local agent was helpful and discreet.
We had a great holiday thanks to April and Travelopo.

Our stay in Mallorca was just wonderful, the villa was impeccable, very clean, incredibly well equipped and exactly as described, it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the tennis court and pool immensely and were very reluctant to leave!

We spent a very relaxed week at the villa and when we did have any comments or questions Nuala, our wonderful agent, was very prompt in responding and assisting. We were particularly impressed with the level of information given to us at every stage from booking through to arrival, we had detailed instructions and helpful tips to ensure we had a smooth check in, stay and departure. I haven't used an agent to book a villa in some time but it really did take the hassle out of everything and I can't recommend Travelopo enough - I'll be using them for every villa booking from now on!

Just stayed with Travelopo in one of their Pollenca villas in Majorca. A lovely place, just as described on-line, very detailed directions to find it, amazingly quick response when we found the water was off due to a storm previous night, all you could want in way of villa facilities. In fact everything we needed to give a relaxing break. Excellent overall.

From sending an enquiry to arriving at the property in Italy could not of been easier, great customer service will be definitely booking next year's villa soon.

We had a fantastic stay in one of Travelopo's villa's in Pollenca. The hamper on arrival was a lovely touch and the secluded setting was fantastic.

The property was well maintained and having a pool for our children was a godsend.

Found the site really easy to use, once I knew what I wanted I emailed the help team and got a response within a matter of minutes. Everything went smoothly from there, had a great time away! Thanks - will definitely use again.

Booked for first time with Travelopo and was very happy, couldn't ask for more. They have a large portfolio of properties and offered me an overwhelming choice!
Prompt service, easy booking procedure and when I arrived at the villa it was exactly as described.
In future will just go straight back to them to save time.
Highly recommended to all.

We've just finished unpacking from our two week stay in Mallorca, and it's probably one of the better holidays our family has had in a long time. It was all very last minute, and the help we had from Darren and the reservations team was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and any questions I had were answered promptly. We had an issue with our jacuzzi while we were there, and struggled to get hold of the owners. As a last resort, we contacted Darren again, and he quickly put us touch with someone who could help.

The family loved the holiday so much, my wife has already asked me to book next year's holiday. Thanks to all at Travelopo - see you again next year!

I always worry booking through a website I have never heard of before, but my experience with Travelopo was nothing but impressive. Hannah, my sales rep, was very informative, helpful and quick at responding to my questions. We had a lovely holiday and the villa just perfect. We have already rebooked next year and I would definitely recommend this site to others.

I recently booked a holiday with 'Hannah'. I must say she was extremely efficient. I can be quite specific in my requirements and Hannah was very patient with me.!! We had a wonderful holiday and would have no hesitation booking a holiday with Travelopo in the future. Its nice to find a travel agent that tailor makes your holiday to your specific needs....not like a few experiences i have had with larger well known companies !

I booked a villa via the website HomeAway which travelopo was the managing agent. After I booked I did a quick Google search (Would have done this before booking had I known this company was managing the villa rather than dealing direct with the owner) anyway turns out the company (travelopo) has a lot of bad reviews for several reasons the main one being that they don't have up to date information as they don't manage properties directly themselves then when people turned up to the property all was not as they were led to believe. Anyway because of the high number of bed reviews i did some more research on the villa i booked and surprise it turned out the villa was not a 4 bed as travelopo advertised but only a 3 bed!! This was for a big important family holiday which was Almost ruined should I not have found this out, 2 of the guests wouldn't have had a bed to sleep in. I found on several other websites this villa was being advertised as 3 beds and not 4, i even found an up to date floor plan showing 3 beds on a very reputable holiday companies website. I spoke to A man at travelopo about this who didn't seem concerned at all and kept repeating that his information said it was a 4 bed so obviously it was!! Now the likeness of me believing this man were slim to none considering all the bad reviews I'd read which were basically saying the same thing about travelopo not having up to date information including photos of properties that weren't at all a true likeness. I told Travelopo to cancel the villa and they said they would check with the owner with regards to the number of bedrooms and come back to me. I didn't need them to do this as I already knew their information was wrong but they were still quite willing and happy for me to book and take the risk turning up to find there wasn't enough beds for us to sleep in. Surprise surprise I never heard back from travelopo, funny thing is when they wanted my money they responded within minutes to every email and even answered the phone but as soon as this happened they were nowhere to be found and all my mails were ignored!
The lesson is, If there are bad reviews they are always there for good reason therefore id advise people not to use this company and steer well clear.
