Rude and Ignorant by Kilshane staff members
I buy a lot in TJ O'Mahonys rather than give my money to a UK company like screwfix or B&Q.
Recently I bought a lot of plumbing items in Kilshane and specifically requested amongst them a 40mm 90 degree swept bend as an elbow was not suitable. The young fellow behind the counter took my order then tried to pawn off an elbow on me. When I asked for a swept bend instead he first insisted that it was a swept bend, then when I said it wasn't he insisted I'd asked for an elbow, then he insisted that an elbow and a bend were identical. He looked for backup from his colleague who agreed with him. I've never encountered in this providers such lack of knowledge, rudeness and poor customer service. In future Ill be going to Chadwick's or Goodwins where you don't get treated like an idiot by the idiot behind the counter trying to pawn off the wrong item on you

Stuff didn’t arrive 2 weeks later.
In fairness I did get a refund but I had machinery on hire waiting on the pipes to arrive.

I've had 5 delivers for various projects and I have never had an issue. Every delivery driver was polite and professional and the call to say they're on the way is great.

Thanks to driver on the day
Thanks to driver on the day. I couldn’t help unload timber as I had an operation 2 weeks before . He unloaded 20 or so full lengths of timber without a problem. I couldn’t have done this so thanks to him for that .

Not interested in small orders
Had to chase the order , probably still would not of got it unless I had of chased it up, when it did come the driver was the most unhelpful person ever to the point of rude. They talk to you like you work on a building site and you’re a builder not a customer. Never again

Customer service is atrocious. Rude accounts team in prosperous shop who won't put you in touch with a manager but want to know all your business. No stock when you want it either.

Items missing…
Delivery arrived unannounced when nobody was home, I didnt receive my full order, i emailed customer service & have had no reply, still missing part of my order. I eventually got a reply & only because I give a negative review. The reply from them was an empty gesture, no update from them & still missing part of my order

Only refunded part of the actual cost
I ordered 3 of the same thing. Got 2 and an email saying they refunded for the 3rd one as they were out of stock (and yet allowed the order to go through for 3). Then, I only got part of the refund, not the full amount. Emailed and phoned them a few times. Each time they said they'll get process it the following morning. I avoid them now
