What a terrible experience. I order a product and request that it be delivered to my local chadwicks. get a call the next day saying they wont deliver it there for months and I have to drive to another completely inconvenient store quite a distance away.. every other builder provider will bring a product to a local store if it is out of stock..

Avoid chadwicks and stick to other builders merchants.

I used the online form to book a piece of equipment for the next day. Got a phone call at 8:50 to talk about delivery, was told he was just going to check the store room and call back - no call.
Tried to call myself after a few hours, got redirected to their central line to someone who was annoyed I didn't know I'd been redirected to central line and took a message under duress without a phone number - no call.
Rang again repeatedly - got through, the guy said he couldn't talk about my order because he was just on the desk. The other lad would be back in 10 minutes. I asked if I was going to get delivery today and he said the trucks were all gone so there were no more deliveries.
Now I have no equipment, no follow up, no delivery.

I should have followed my gut and stayed away after my last encounter with an incredibly condescending sexist showboating employee at the main counter a year ago.

These guys are the worst. Avoid especially if you are a woman.

Wonderful service. Will have my extension done in no time.

Ordered external wall covers and coils on 11 Nivember and paid for delivery, still no sign of the them up to 19th November, 3rd time this has happened to me with their so call 2/3 delivery? No updates given to customers on the status of the order only AWAITING TO BE PROCESSED. Horrendous customer service and dont get me started on the counter staff, you'd swear you were asking for a lung the way some of them look at you when you ask them a question...

Avoid if possible. Terrible staff and quality of products.

Got doors and floors off Chadwicks Limerick. Guided in decisions for Door types and handles etc by Mark. Top guy, very helpful and knowledgable. Gave price and delivery date. All arrived as expected. Brilliant service from start to finish. Would very much recommend this store.

Good deal but not reliable. - I have made a purchase through the website, and after 5 working days I haven't got any update on my order. So I called one of the shops and they said that the product is out of stock and they do not know when it will be available, yet the product was available and "in stock" at the time of the purchase. Now I am stuck with no material and no money.

Waited 20 mins totally ignored eventually went to plumbing counter and the guy had no idea what was n stock I left never again will I go back they have the worst service

ordered rough white deal 50mmx22mmx4.8m wood battens for roofing, listed as 2" x 1".
the 22mm turns out to be 20mm in thickness, which then impacts negatively on the copper nails used. You'd think 1" wood would be something close to an inch (25mm) and not 13/16th or roughly 10% out.

Honest to god shocking!! Made online order for black snickers for my son and when delivered I realised there grey and black so called number I was sent in message saying if any problems with order. Spoke to a girl who hung up while I was speaking then when I called back she said I'll put you onto someone and spoke to a Paul who said "I don't know anything about online orders" and passed me back onto the girl who said "Paul will have to ring you back" I replied he said she doesn't know about online orders and she laughs and said "he helped me before" and hung up. What kind of customer service is this. I'm left now not knowing who can help with wrong trousers!!

Worst experience dealing with an Irish company. Ordered a door for next-day delivery, and it didn’t arrive. Waited five days with no response to my emails. Tried to call customer care, and they hung up on me. They don’t care, just happy to take your money and ignore you. There are plenty of better Irish businesses out there that deserve the business - avoid at all costs!

Couldn't be worse customer service. Never reach out to schedule delivery, customer has to follow up multiple times to get a delivery slot. Once the delivery slot has been confirmed, they don't show up - this has happened me 4 times now. Yet the offer next day delivery??? Use an alternative

Ordered online Wednesday arrived this morning Friday, very happy. Product perfect as described.

I ordered a kitchen worktop from Chadwicks website for the "next day delivery". Nothing happened the next day and the day after. When I contacted Chadwicks, I was told that the worktop was not in stock and will be in stock in several days. A week later I called them again - delivery had been arranged for the next day, but without delivering the worktop to my apartment (they would bring it to the building only). I cancelled the order and went elsewhere.

Had a lovely experience in Chadwick’s in Stillorgan Ind Park this morning (17/05/25) with Gerry O’Reilly. He was most helpful and went above and beyond to help and advise me. Great to meet such nice and knowledgeable people and I will definitely be back..

Heard good things about Chadwicks, but have had a very poor experience myself. Three orders, three total mess ups:

- order 1: wrong items delivered (wrong size and materials). I noticed only weeks later, as we were moving to our new house, so it was too late to return. Over 100 euro wasted.
-order 2: in Chadwick's universes next day after Friday is Monday! So, no next day delivery. It's next working day. Beware or your weekend dyi plans will go belly up. One of the items arrived if super nad quality: crumbly and moldy stink once we opened it, 70 euro wasted.
- order 3: after Thursday comes... You got it - Tuesday delivery! Wrong items again! Wrong size, so not suitable for our project, need to arrange a return now and order from elsewhere. Pain. Delayed work again, thank you Chadwick's!

I guess by now you see the pattern. Wasted over 170 euro (plus delivery), works delayed. Never buying from Chadwick's again. Nice people but what a bad experience.

I was having difficulty with the online system for ordering as I am from the UK. I phoned and was connected to Michael Roche at the Co. Wexford branch. Michael was great, super helpful arranged everything and the goods were despatched to the Dublin address for next day delivery.

I ordered products with delivery, on their website it says that if the order is placed by 1pm, they deliver the next day, 5 days have passed and I have not received the order, there is a problem connecting to support too, I do not recommend

Super efficient and fast! I ordered over 500 of supplies, they promised next day delivery and they came as promised, the materials are all correct and in good condition. The driver was helpful and pleasant. These staff really try their best for the customers, and it’s nice to get that €15 off your first order. I’m sure there are other customers that would give them five stars but did t bother writing a review. I would definitely recommend and do business with them again

Chadwicks Wexford for me was terrible i ordered a peice of plywood. It states that if i order before 1pm they will deliver it the next day. So thats what i done but today i try to reach out to them and a man answers the phone and is acting like he cannot here me. I called him on 2 diffrent phones to make sure that it wasnt my phone acting up but it was the same on the second phone. So the man was just ignoring me. Before this i called as soon as they opened and i was told they would call me back which they never did. Mind you I live only 2km from the place.
