Don’t transfer your ticket!

I transferred one of the 2 tickets l bought to my husband. My husband became ill and we were unable to go to the concert. I was able to sell my ticket but hadn’t realised that if you transfer a ticket you can’t resell it, even if, as in this case, they transfer it back to the original seller. The result, an empty seat at the concert last night. I took out insurance and so far haven’t been able to claim on that either. It’s been very frustrating and depressing experience.

Although I could see my concert tickets…

Although I could see my concert tickets on e mail they were not visible on the Ticketmaster App (you cannot print the tickets off e mail as the only way to enter the concert is by showing the tickets on your mobile).
I contacted Ticketmaster online and I was advised to change my Location on the App (which must default to the USA). As soon as I changed it my tickets were immediately available. However it would be useful for the company to let the general public know this as it would avoid unnecessary contact with Ticketmaster.

The show itself was phenomenal but…

The show itself was phenomenal. Was a little disappointed that one song I like wasn’t sung, only instrumental. Also, BM just disappeared after the last song. No goodbye or anything.
The main reason for the low rating is due tothe fact that we paid a lot for the seats only to get a restricted view. The speakers are everywhere! And the seats were not sold as restricted. Staff at the stadium were also enjoying themselves instead of manning the people.

Classy act in a great venue

The venue was easy to find. The tickets didn't seem to need a local wi-fi signal and we got in within 10 minutes of queuing and easily found our seats. The gig was virtually sold out. The acoustics were perfect in the open air bowl. James Taylor came on at exactly 7.30 and again at exactly 9.00. He was backed by a classy band including 4 backing singers including one of his sons. It was nice to see Lou from the original Blues Brothers band and movie on sax and flute. Some of the songs in the first half were a bit obscure but the second half was almost non stop hits. A classy concert.

Tom was excellent he might be 86 but there is not many people that could get a crowd as involved, irrespective of age. The Piece Hall is a lovely venue, even in the rain getting in & out was super easy
Brilliant evening, thank you

Everything was easy and enjoyable

Everything was easy and enjoyable. However price of drinks was ridiculous nearly £30 for 2 drinks which is more expensive then the actual ticket and nearly as much as a t-shirt. Staff were great.

There was 5 of us and my daughter…

There was 5 of us and my daughter scanned her ticket and was the fourth person and got stuck in the gates so she was told to scan another ticket which then resulted in our fifth person not being able to scan the ticket and was outside on her own and I had to leave to be taken outside to find her to then go to the box office to get this resolved and get another 2 tickets for us to get back in so another 45 minutes off queues to get tickets bearing in mind we had been in a queue to get inside the venue for 3 hours. Everyone at the box office was having the same issue with a person getting stuck in the gates , why the security are not able to resolve this problem as they know the person has obviously scan a ticket before hand is a joke and it is obviously a problem that happens at every concert, this really does need to be addressed and looked into as we pay good money for these tickets and to be treated like this and the stress that comes with this problem is totally unnecessary my last person that couldn’t gain access was a 16 year old girl who was left outside on her own and told to move away as she was blocking other people from getting in was disgusting and when I finally managed to get back out to find her and go to the box office she was very scared and upset and it was her first concert and totally ruined our night over something that quite easily could’ve been avoided if security was able to let the person who got stuck in and didn’t just say scan all the tickets you have to get in because of this experience I don’t think we will be attending a concert at Wembley again
