tile Shed have been fantastic to deal with from start to finish.

A very pleasant experience: their website made a mistake when we ordered due to our post code(ZE2) and the shipping was incorrect (to little) rather than demand the full balance they split the difference and absorbed half and they were incredibly nice about it! I did not mind paying more.
The tiles arrived very promptly and were expertly packaged.No breakages.
A highly recommended and fair company to deal with. 5 Star.

I love the staff at The Tile Shed they really go out of their way to help. When ordering the tiles for my kitchen they were super helpful and advised on which tiles there was likely to be a delay. When my square tiles were out of stock they found rectangular tiles in the same style.
Once my kitchen was underway the builders realised that we’d need another box of tiles. I rang on Friday lunchtime and the lady not only found me the last box in the warehouse but she put them on the counter so I could nip in and collect them.
I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else for tiles, the prices are so reasonable, the staff are lovely and the delivery of my tiles was fuss free and timely.

I purchased some outdoor patio tiles from The Tile Shed Birtley and was assisted by James - he couldn’t have been more helpful, was very patient talking me through the various options and recommending what would work well. The shop itself was very clean and tidy, can’t fault the service or the staff!

Excellent packaging, tile as described. Waiting for customer to choose and will be ordering.

Unfortunately my first order got lost so instead of 5 days delivery it was 17 days but I have to say that Sarah in customer services was absolutely wonderful and very helpful

I bought tiles with the tile shed North-shield store in recent days and I was showed a set of tiles during the sale (less vines) and we agreed and accepted it. Later the tile was delivered and after half tile lay’d we noticed that the tile was not the same pattern of what they showed us when the sold. We took this to the shop attention after it was noticed and I was acknowledged with sorry because of the mistake during the sale and I requested them to replace the thicker vine tile one with the less vine one but they said no we have only 4 box left so they don’t have enough to replace and we where stuck here and no sure what to do. So I raised a complaint about the mistake during the sale via email and the I got a reply from seller below

“Hi,

Many thanks for your email.

Firstly I would like to apologise if you think that we have misled you on the sale of the Calcatta Oro Tiles. Whilst we do our very best to give as much information at point of sale it's not always possible to cover all bases.



With regards to the veining and shading in the tile, we are clear in our terms & conditions and with all our customers, that due to the nature of the manufacturing process shades, veining, Marbling, tolerance and sizes will vary between batches. All tiles should be checked before fixing that they are:



1. The correct tile.

2. The correct colour & design.

3. The correct size.

4. There is enough tiles to complete the project.



If the tiles had been checked and the issue brought to our attention before fixing, then we would of happily exchanged or refunded them. However once the tiles are fixed we cannot accept any liability for your order.

As a good will gesture we could look at an in store friend and family voucher on any next purchase.

I do get that we didn’t check the tiles when we received or before it’s lay’d and it’s highly impossible for me to check all the tiles and all I did Is checked one box on the top and it had the same pattern we seen but the boxes below had completely different but our trust is always that seller will always deliver the product that we seen and if it’s a colour shade mild differences fine then it’s acceptable due to manufacture but if the pattern is completely different to what’s been sold and what’s been delivered then it’s not acceptable.

I’m waiting for the seller to come back with proper solution instead of the one above. They clearly know that we will not come back to them to buy any more tiles due to the issue in first sale and so they are saying we will give family discount in next purchase (not acceptable when there is a mistake in the sale from their side)

I’m also requesting anyone buying tiles from this seller to check all the tiles you purchased before you laying them else seller will say they are not responsible after they lay’d or for us not checking it ... all the tiles if you are buying 200 tiles then check them all .

Me and my family gone through lot of stress in last 3-5 days and we are fully depressed every day by seeing the tiles on the floor especially when it’s new home and you don’t get what you want.

Trust is broken by the seller and my review is all about what I experienced during this sale process and delivery process.

Carl and Lee were just the best, lots of patience and so helpful over the many visits I made to find the right product for me

Just purchased a bathroom suite and tiles from the branch in Birtley. The staff were brilliant, both James and Andy were attentive and made sure I was happy with what I was buying. Top marks and a credit to the company.

Next day delivery as promised, tiles look amazing. Not fitted yet but they were the cheapest on this site.

(Update - you prompt the trustpilot review, if you want it dealt with privately then collect feedback via your own web link. I know stuff breaks, that was the shi* on the cake, the 4 missing samples was the greater issue. )
Buy tile mountain or sell you business to them, you’ll be happier.

The service from this Tile Shed in Birtley is excellent I particularly wanted to thank Lee who was was very helpful .The tiles I wanted were a special which he sauced for me from one of there suppliers . Even organised long distance delivery for me .thank you Lee . Would certainly use Tile Shed again for our next project .
