Loved my new kitchen from Shaker Kitchen 100%!

I have recently had a new kitchen installed through Shaker Kitchen Co and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the end result; I cannot stop admiring my beautiful kitchen. From placing my order, to post installation, I am happy with how the company dealt with some small snags (drawer needed adjusting and delayed dishwasher fitting), though, it did take a day or two to get a response at times. It is rare that you come across a sales / installation team who are so personable and vibrant, especially with tough challenges to face

I love my kitchen! Great quality doors and drawers, all real wood so they have that heavy upmarket feel. Favourite part might be the built in oak cutlery draw they did for me (I can remember if this was standard but would recommend you ask). My designer was really good, better than wickes or wren...who were lovely but they didn’t think about the symmetry of the kitchen as much as the Shaker person did, which I was being particular about. The lady I had knew what I meant about needing it to look balanced! There was an end panel missing when they delivered it but then the guy came back a week later so that was fine. Overall really happy with the units and the design for the price, i have the Instagram worthy kitchen of my dreams and its great quality as well...everything I wanted. Would recommend :)

The designers where great, very helpful. My kitchen is amazing and I love the colour. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is due to the fact that our appliances were delayed.

I’m really sad to say I’m feeling disappointed by the service we have had in the final stages. We are now 13 weeks with no worktops and endless promises it will be sorted. It’s causing a huge amount of difficulty for my family as we are without a sink also. At the moment I’m too ashamed to have friends around, and I’m reluctant to recommend the company. I’d love them to sort out our problems as the initial people we dealt with (including Daisy) were delightful. I’m hoping this will be sorted- but at the moment I’m struggling to see how this is going to be solved.
A few days after writing this and someone has taken over the arrangements and things seem to be progressing positively. It is the person that undertook our original survey, and it’s encouraging as I met him before Christmas. He has emailed or phoned most days and to keep me updated. He seems very motivated and I’m sad he wasn’t our point of contact throughout the whole process. Things are looking up.

The absolute worst service I've ever experienced; 8 months since ordering the kitchen I still cannot use it.
If you are keen to proceed on the product, my advice would be to strongly consider agreeing a payment plan to hold back any payments until you are 100% happy with the sign off of the kitchen. The service is chronically poor, particularly from the Chairman/Head of Customer Service. Worst £20K I've ever spent.

Avoid this company at all costs!! I paid £20k for a new kitchen from the Shaker Kitchen Company. The designers in the showroom were very good, however, the moment you put down your deposit the experience completely changes and you are handed over to 'Customer Services' which is run by the surly and defensive daughter of the owner. The kitchen that had been installed does not remotely match the plan we signed off due to 'mistakes adding up the dimensions'. We were forced to buy more cabinets last minute to try to fix the problem (at our cost!) and the kitchen is still not finished 6 MONTHS after the confirmed completion date. After hundreds of calls and emails and dealing with 6 different people, I still can't track down anyone who is remotely interested in putting this right. The excuse given is that the company has been growing too fast to be run properly. Staff on all levels are happy to criticise the business and management, and literally no-one is interested in sorting out the issues. There is a really big reason why they ask for 100% of the cost to be paid UP FRONT. AVOID!!!!

However I do care very much about my kitchen and my £20k. I would like to point out that your Installation Manager, Russell Ball who visited me Friday 17th May to assess the situation (after 6 months of complaining) confirmed the error lies in a miscalculation of dimensions ON YOUR SIDE. Ie you didn’t add up the sum total width of the cupboards properly.... happy to continue to discuss on Trust Pilot, or perhaps your company would be interested in resolving the multiple issues offline? I can’t recommend this company highly enough. We are absolutely thrilled with our stunning kitchen! The quality, design and the customer service we received was excellent. The whole team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the end product, the whole process felt incredibly personal. There is a very caring ethos at the centre of this company.

Couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The service we received from our initial design consultations through to post installation was exceptional. With such a large project it was inevitable that not everything would go entirely to plan but they were understanding, professional and made every effort to put things right in a timely manner. We are delighted with the end-result and would highly recommend! Many thanks to The Shaker Kitchen team.

I am hardly a keyboard warrior as my full and truthful name is noted; my living arrangements are irrelevant and it is professionally unethical for you to have disclosed those details; your installers worked hard and did a good job despite design errors and missing elements and tipping is customary for me; and transparent pricing, etc. is no excuse for the catalogue of design errors, missing items, delays and so on which we experienced during the completion of our kitchen. I am not claiming compensation as I know others have rightfully done and stand by my review which contains only facts and is without exaggeration.

Very pleased! My husband and I had lots of ideas and the designers in the cirencester showroom brought it to life.
Great value for money.

We absolutely love our Shaker kitchen! Before choosing Shaker we’d been to a few other kitchen companies but we hadn’t been able to find the look and quality that we were aiming for. We loved Shaker from the first drawing though and the end result doesn’t disappoint; it met all of our expectations.
Brilliant communication throughout - We had a small issue with our tap which wasn’t Shakers fault but was resolved quickly none-the-less.
Overall we couldn’t be happier and are thrilled with our beautiful kitchen.

Great experience from start to finish with The Shaker Kitchen Co. I absolutely love the finished product and everyone comments on how beautiful my kitchen looks. My designer was really responsive and helped me create my dream kitchen utilizing the space.
The Customer care team were also fantastic. Really helpful and extremely friendly.
The installation team were incredibly professional and left the place immaculate.

Love love LOVE my kitchen! I have been planning this project for over a year now and my kitchen was installed last month. From start to finish the service was great. Very professional and friendly. Will definatly be recommending to my friends! Thanks again Shaker!

You may not get what you paid for, you will not get quality or any kind of customer service. This is bordering on shameful.
Does not live up to promise and appearances.
Please avoid and shop elsewhere - don't just take my word for it. They delete all negative comments from Instagram and FB so look up independent review sites.

One word - Disappointing.

Unlike other customers of this company, my kitchen is now completed. But it was finished several months late meaning that I moved into my new home without a worktop, kitchen sink/taps and there were two cupboards missing.
4 years ago I had a kitchen fitted by John Lewis of Hungerford and the entire experience could not have been more different. From the perfectly seamless installation, to the courteous staff and excellent finished product. JLH may be more expensive than TSKC, but paying the extra, in my opinion, is more than worth it.
