Absolutely fantastic service! Would not hesitate to recommend...

It has been sometime now that we have had our kitchen. The anger has simmered away so I feel I can write a more balanced review...however my overriding thoughts of the company are not in anyway positive.

I wrote a Houzz review so maybe have a look on there but in summary the process was a joke from start to finish. Oh, they seem to have removed themselves (most likely due to the amount of negative reviews one can only assume)..

Our designer was useless and later fired. Rather than do the right thing and ‘up’ their service to make sure he hasn’t made any errors (having just been fired) we were left chasing everything and had to ask for another surveyor to take measurements (bearing in mind they make it VERY clear if there are any measurement errors you are on your own).

There were still some basic design errors that they wipes their hands of, that we could not have seen but any decent kitchen designer should have. Our builder wasn’t very impressed. Delivery was painful and lots of things wrong. Installation was a mess and corner were cut. We were left chasing a Caple Tap we had paid for but parts were not delivered and we incurred costs booking a plumber the saturday before Xmas to install.

Probably the most disturbing aspect of their customer service is the way they aggressively market themselves on social media deleting any negative posts. There was a group of us that got together and they had deleted every single negative comment on instagram. What sort of honest company would do that.

Behind the nice looking kitchens is shocking customer service, poor design and sloppy execution. I wouldn’t use them again except for a very basic design and certainly would not recommend

We had our kitchen installed a year ago. In the main it all went well and we are very happy with our kitchen. we did have a couple of issues but all have now been resolved. Good quality kitchen at reasonable price.

It’s unfortunate that it’s come to the stage of me having to write a bad review but after a year of failed attempts to get a missing shelf I’m afraid I need to shout a little bit louder.

We had our kitchen delivered from the Shaker Kitchen Company over 12 months ago now. When it was fitted we realised we were missing a shelf for a corner base unit. 12 months later I’m still waiting for the shelf!

At one point I got told it would go into production and it would be delivered in 12 weeks.
12 weeks for one shelf when I’d already been waiting 9 months????? Really?????
Still over 3 months later I’m still waiting!

I can’t count the number of times the contents of the cupboard from the make shift shelf we put in have fallen down on me.
I’ve now lost all patience.

Unfortunately as well the inside of the door on the integrated washing machine has started to warp.

Such a shame because otherwise we’ve been really pleased with the kitchen.
It’s disappointing you let yourselves down on such small things but create such an annoyance to your customers!

ABSOLUTELY HANDS DOWN best value for money! I was a bit concerned at first due to a couple of negative reviews but I couldn’t turn down such a solid product! - I was a extremely difficult customer or shall say my wife was due to many changes but TSKC met our needs every time and delivered 3 days early! We will be sharing the secret word :) thanks again 5******* from the meadows family

Recently had a Shaker Kitchen both delivered and installed and the service from both parties was excellent.The kitchen looks fantastic and feels really good quality. There was a slight delay with appliances reaching us however this was swiftly resolved by Sam.Would definitely recommend.

I’ve wanted a new kitchen for so long and finally convinced my husband to let me have one. I love my island and the kids are pleased too!

I've recently had my Shaker Kitchen installed and am over the moon with it. The quality of the cabinetry is as good if not better than some of the more expensive brands (I did my research) and half the price! I had a really smooth process from start to finish. My designer and the staff at head office were very helpful. I will definitely be recommending SKC to all of my friends! Thank you, I'm a very happy lady!

I have given 3 stars to TSKC as the company was good to start with and they had a fantastic salesperson at the Fulham branch but my kitchen is still not complete and I placed the order in June 2017. They have done since January 2019 to remedy but we are still missing a couple of items such as fillers because the original person that did the sketch drawings onsite, did not take into account all measurements, even though the project manager onsite pointed out their errors. I am still waiting even though I have sent emails with pictures but it’s still outstanding so I will be going forward with Trading Standards to deal with this. It is very unfair for the company to make us pay upfront for the deposit and then the final balance 2 weeks before installation and cause so many problems for the company to comeback and fix. As a leap of faith in customer service and to get more business in future to gain trust, a 5% deposit should have been held back until final completion has been agreed by both parties. This is what was offered to me by Express Bifolds that were installing the kitchen at the same time. I wish I could recommend TSKC as their products are great but it is just a shame the management team are not helping the workforce to achieve the company’s objectives and culture to work better together for the customers.

I had a great experience with the SKC from start to finish. I had a fairly awkward space and the kitchen design was tricky but the designers were so patient and let me explore lots of different options until I was 100% happy with the design. The installation team were professional and were able to troubleshoot any issues they came across when putting in the kitchen. We had taken down a dividing wall after I had signed off the designs and when it came to fitting the kitchen there was a lintel I hadn’t anticipated being there. SKC helped me adapt the design to make it work at no extra cost to myself even though we were at fault. My kitchen looks absolutely stunning and everybody who comes over says it’s beautiful. This is our forever kitchen and I can hand on heart say I’m over the moon with the result. I only ever had a positive experience when dealing with SKC employees. If in doubt go and make an appointment with a designer at the showroom. See the quality of the kitchens for yourself and talk to the staff who represent the company.

We've just had our shaker kitchen installed and it looks brilliant! The process was straight forward and our designer was incredibly helpful and accommodated all of our requests. I was a bit unsure the quality wouldn't be as good as the likes of Devol with such a big price difference between quotes but I'm over the moon with the standard of everything. Very glad we went with shaker! Definitely recommend!

I just wanted to write and say thanks and how pleased we are with our new Shaker Kitchen. Everything fits beautifully and we're so pleased with our colour combo! All good. Very helpful showroom staff who helped us with our design, kitchen delivered on time, and fitted with no fuss.What we wanted was what we got!

We’re incredibly pleased with our new kitchen. Excellent quality and exceptional value for money compared to other companies that we looked at. Very happy indeed!

I recently renovated our house and was excited about the prospect of installing a new shaker kitchen. It seemed like quite good value (difficult to find in the world of kitchens) and my wife likes their style. The design process went well and we were assisted by a very helpful lady. It quickly went downhill from there. The stone worktop was dropped at the factory and had to be re-cut, which meant that we did not have a fully functioning kitchen for an important family event. Little effort was made to help us with this problem. The kitchen arrived in the wrong colour and had to be hand painted to the correct colour. Nice decorator but he managed to get paint on our floor, over work surfaces etc. The wrong hinges were fitted, so someone had to come and change all of them. The overall build quality is not great - some doors don't close properly with small and uneven gaps between them. The end result is pretty good, but it has been a slow and painful process. Not an experience that you would expect from a company who presents itself as premium with price tags to match.

A friend recommended us and I'm grateful she did.
We were considering going down the howdens route for some time until our friend recommended the shaker kitchen company.
They really understood how important certain parts of the design were to me. Absolutely love my traditional larder!

Just had my Shaker kitchen installed and am thrilled with it. Great value for money.
Designers were great and knew exactly what I wanted after having a bad experience with a different company.
4* due to a one week delay.

My wife is really pleased! We went bespoke as we have gone for a special wine fridge and a few other items. The team in Fulham did a great job!

I honestly don’t understand what the other ratings are about - had a separate experience entirely! Personally I felt like a valued customer of shaker kitchens with the customer service department being very timely and helpful in my enquiries. I’m absolutely delighted with my new kitchen! Which despite what I was led to believe below fits perfectly. I was worried initially when I walked into the Fulham showroom as there wasn’t much on display - until I realised it was downstairs and the ladies were very helpful.

Would recommend to a friend!
