Whisky Galore @ The Green Welly Stop Reviews 

This is the third time I have received Whisky from Whisky Galore, and I have also recommended the service to a friend of mine, Becky Letman, who purchased a bottle for her partner for the recent Valentine's day, therefore needless to say I feel the service is excellent. My one disappointment re the Green Welly is this ; before Christmas I decided to drive to Tyndrum and visit the Shop in person. I took my two children, and we had Lunch in the Café before visiting the whisky shop. I spent over £200 in the whisky shop, despite being very disappointed to discover that the prices in the shop were roughly £5 more per bottle than they were on line. I queried this with the assistant at the counter and was told that this was the pricing policy of the Store, and consequently the price to me would remain £5 per bottle more. Surely this is the wrong stance to take, as it in future discourages me from visiting the shop personally, where I would be more likely to spend money on other products for sale in the shop, and may also eat in the café. I did point out when I visited in December, that I could have walked back out to my Car, ordered the Whisky on line via my phone, and then walked back in to the Shop to collect it !. Please take this as nothing other than constructive, as generally speaking I love the Shop, and think the Whisky selection is the best in the Country

Fantastic service, I ordered Stags Breath and whiskey glass for my Father in Laws 80th Birthday, I was concerned that I have left it to late to order and e-mailed to check when delivery would be, the items were shipped the following day from ordering and I had a prompt e-mail reply telling me this, the gifts arrived in plenty of time, however I would point out that the box was somewhat damaged which could easily have resulted in breakages which thankfully was not the case. Service is excellent and can't be faulted.

Despite their remote geographical location, this business excels in all service areas. Prompt web sales notification, confirmed delivery dates, excellent packaging and speedy delivery. Cannot fault the service. If only all web businesses could do the same!!!!

Absolutely fantastic service. My complete order was delivered quickly and everything ordered was individually and carefully wrapped in The Green Welly Stop paper. Due to the number of items ordered it felt a bit like Christmas unwrapping the boxes. Terrific. Even got a free mint included..ha ha. Nice touch. Unreservedly recommended. Shall be purchasing again without a jot of hesitation.

Selected a couple of Whiskys for Christmas, at a very competitive price, I was so impressed with Craig's great service, I continued to check his stock and happened to find another couple of Whiskys that caught my fancy, once again great service & price so looks like I'll keep checking their stock and prices against the competition. Tomintoul 14 arrived on Christmas Eve as expected. Seems to be in limited supply, so I was delighted to have a bottle shipped out next working day.

Internet comparison showed that Whisky Galore sold the whisky I was looking for at the cheapest price. I ordered it and my bottle arrived (well packaged in its cylinder, then tissue, bubble wrap and a box) the next day. I can't think of any way the experience could have been improved.

Look for their "Web Exclusive Deals" -- most are excellent and well below the price on other sites. Their search page makes it easy to find and sort by distillery, type, price, or collection. I've ordered several times and always had delivery within two days. I'm happy to be a repeat customer!

Was looking for a bottle of 18 year old Macallan and came across Whisky Galore @ The Green Welly Stop in the results. Have been in the shop many times when passing and never thought to check them online. The price was the best that I could see online for the bottle I was after, and the delivery cost was very reasonable. Ordered the bottle yesterday, and the whisky came today. Excellent service. Will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them!
