Whisky Galore @ The Green Welly Stop Reviews 

I saw a pair of Meindl Bhutan boots online priced at £222.99. I visited the shop to try them on and purchase to be told the boots which were £222.99 online were £290 in the shop. I appreciate shops have overheads but a nearly £70 mark up is ridiculous and comparing other shops locally is by far the most expensive. Custom lost bought elsewhere

I purchased a pair of Meindl walking shoes they were a good price and the online purchase was easy, delivery was effectively next day. I would definitely use again. And the icing on the cake was a little chocolate treat placed in the box.

Bought 3 fabulous Christmas Sheep tree decorations, they are full of character, beautifully made and arrived in just two days, wonderful service!

This wasn’t my first purchase from this great family-run business, therefore I knew that I would be able to find a special whisky for a milestone celebration from their vast selection.

Having decided my choice online, I called the shop in order to find out if multiple bottles were available. Nicola was very helpful in physically tracking down the whisky in question and even went the extra mile to ascertain the individual bottle numbers - thereafter safeguarding the one I chose for my online order.

As always, the order was very well (and sustainably) packaged and delivered swiftly (in this instance, on the second business day after ordering). With great service and genuine care for clients, I also look forward to the next opportunity to visit in-store on my next trip through the gateway to the Hebrides.

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with The Green Welly Stop has been very encouraging so I'm making an exception. I ordered a bottle of Macallan 12 Yr Triple Cask on Monday and it arrived the following Wednesday. The price was the best around and the order status was updated with frequent emails. The bottle was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Happy customer, I'll definitely use The Green Welly Stop again.

I was looking for two whiskies which are quite rare found them at the green welly stop / Tyndrum whisky. I am always apprehensive about ordering from new companies. But after reading all the positive reviews thought I would try with them. They had both whiskies I wanted at a very good price and the postage costs were very good. The site was easy to use , sent next day delivery and the packaging was some if the best I have ever received. I am so very impressed with this company and would advise anyone to order from them. If you are here wondering whether to place an order - go for it! There is a reason the reviews for the Green Welly Stop are so positive - as I found out myself. The service is fantastic, the prices are great and the shipping is extremely fast. Not to mention that you can find rare whiskey and even obscure Latvian liqueurs. I will absolutely be ordering from this gem in the future!

I'm sure the green welly is a great place to shop , I tried to buy a malt whisky online but found when I got to the check out that I had to register
I don't understand the point of registering...when buying online....I might have used them again...then again I might not....and if I did use them again ...I probably would have forgot my password...and would have to wait for a new one...taking more time, when all anyone wants is to buy the goods pay for them and wait for delivery......so come on Green Welly..I can't be the only one who objects to registering

Having only ordered some spirits on June 13th they have arrived today - June 15th. This is truly amazing considering the distance my order has had to travel. I have used Whisky Galore before and will certainly being using them again. I highly recommend this store to everyone.

So pleased with the service and products from the Green Welly Stop. I ordered 3 flavoured gins and opted for the 'Go Green' packaging; excellent. The bottles were nestled securely and arrived safely. Delivery instructions were followed and the gift card message was accurate. The addition of a Green Welly Stop chocolate square was a lovely touch for this 90th birthday present. Brought back happy memories from previous years of shopping in the store.

Just received my bottle of Balblair 2005, delivery was unbelievably quick, it was extremely well packed and there was no chance of damage in transit. Given the care put into the customer service I am 100% confident in ordering from them again, no reservations about any of the service and the cost of carriage was cheaper than any other online shop I saw, Top Work!
