Have been visiting the Cornish Bakery…
Have been visiting the Cornish Bakery in Lymington Hampshire for a long time now where all their pastries and food is first class. Since Sarah the manageress joined the company the whole ambiance and cleanliness has improved ten fold which is a big improvement. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Uncomfortable experience - Bourton on water
Visited Bourton on Water today 2/8. My partner waited outside with our newborn while I negotiated our order, unsure at this stage if we would eat in or take out, it got a little busy all of a sudden, but the friendly staff member remained focused on my order and advised that they had room to seat us inside as there was more available seating to the back, which was well received. After settling up I went out and informed my partner that we were welcome to sit inside with the pram, so she comes in and I wait for the coffees; so far so good. Whilst seated we were approached by a female member of the team who without hesitation proceeded to tell us we could not eat in as we had take away cups and bags with our food, I explained what had happened at the till, she demanded to know if I had paid extra to dine in, I of course didn’t know if the clerk charged me at the till for the pleasure, so I offered to add to a tip jar if he hadn’t, this was not acceptable to her, after I asked her if she’d like us to leave she said yes if it became busy we would have to go. I figured I would sense check myself on the way out, and there was no signage or other indication such a rule existed. I’m no expert in customer service but I wouldn’t expect this type of interaction is acceptable in any hospitality setting.
We were made to feel really uncomfortable while we rushed our lunch to get out of there. The young chaps on the counter were helpful though, I hope their summer job isn’t too toxic!

Gloucester quays
I spend time in the Cornish bakery every week while my daughter attends tutoring. The staff, especially Charlie, are always so welcoming and helpful. They have the best scones I have tasted and I am always buying danishes and sausages rolls for the following day as my children look forward to their Wednesday morning breakfast treats.
Pop in for a drink (:
Lovely waitress and drinks. A dog friendly comfortable shop with great service and food/drinks. Would recommend 💜

Best Coffee Ever
Once again we are down in Beautiful Devon we normally come 4 to 5 times a year but we have been working away since last September. We were so looking forward to going to one of our fave places The Cornish Bakery at the Affinity Village in Bideford .
We were blown away with the refit it's looks so good the attention to detail is excellent.
So the coffee is always fantastic the consistency of every cup is brilliant some coffee shops just don't get it right
The lady who served us was Sarah the manager, she was explaining how super pleased she was with the feedback to the re fit and to the new products ,When you have someone in your business who is so passionate about where they work and love what they do it makes us all want to come back time and time again ,we have seen Sarah on a few occasions now over the years and she has such a amazing rapport with her team
Then we were super excited by the new products they have, me and my family had a really good choice of everything but the stand outs were the pasties ( we are signing up to have them delivered to us in Edinburgh nothing as good anywhere ) and oh dear the Earl Grey are the most nicest looking and the tastiest cakes we have every had
Outstanding service Amazing products
Thank you

Cornish Bakery in York…
Popped into the Cornish Bakery in York yesterday & as always bought too much. We were served by the bright & welcoming Lottie. She packed our goods with care & was knowledgeable about the products. The pasties were tasty & the custard tarts delicious as always. Always a treat.
Friendly staff
Friendly staff. Great service. Delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Lovely coffee. Visited twice in one day. Thank you 😊
Clarks Village Poor Management/Service
Visited the Cornish Bakery at Clarks Village Outlet, Street yesterday. Good food, but prices are high for what it really is. Can't give more stars as having purchased hot food it was cold by the time we got to eat it. About time they stopped allowing couples and families to grab an inside table whilst someone else in their party goes and joins the queue resulting in those who have paid the extra tax to eat in and are served can't get a table and had to go and sit at the few tables outside in a cold wind and drizzle. Spoke to a young member of staff who couldn't care two hoots.
Delicious sausage rolls and excellent…
Served by Ionia at Freeport Braintree. Delicious sausage rolls and excellent customer service
Cashless only would put a lot of people…
Cashless only would put a lot of people off. Especially the elderly who probably don't even own a smart phone. Cashless and Cash should be the option.
Cash less
Despite the food being nice, I will not be returning due to the place being cash less and only taking card there are plenty of places that welcome my real money so I'll support them instead
Delicious coffee and the omelette…
Delicious coffee and the omelette croissant was a hit! The onion bhaji pasty was a follow up success. Highly recommend.
