The stores are great; really friendly staff and gorgeous products. However, ordering online is a massive mistake. The website itself is below par, customer service is, at best, unhelpful and a complete waste of time. Most of the time, codes don't work and the delivery times are absolutely shocking.

Amazing experience in body shop I had loads of questions about the right moisturizer for my face including SPF picked out the new Skin Defence lotion with SPF 50 as I have skin cancer so need to be extra careful being light it will sit well under make up also brought the mist to use as a top up when I'm out and about it can go over make up grateful for all the help!😍

They've definitely changed ingredients on their products. I used to always use the satsuma range but stopped as the scent was changed to a horrible old musty chemical smell. I started using the strawberry body yogurt as the smell was amazing. Unfortunately this has also changed to a horrible musty smell. I'll never use them again

Awful service. Ordered 3 items, all 3 delivered were nowhere near what I ordered. I phoned and spoke to an Overseas call centre. No apologies, difficult to understand, complex process to return incorrect items involving me in driving to post office, filling in forms, emailing back to them. Total waste of time, won’t buy from them any more!

Excellent help and service from Sarah today at the Stratford-Upon-Avon store. Having bought online recently, I will instead travel the distance due to the customer service I received today. Thanks Sarah for your personable and informative service about the products I purchased. It’s a rare experience nowadays to feel like a truly valued customer.

I like some of their body products. Their face products are useless.
But the most horrible thing is they increased their prices so much, they almost have high end luxury prices. I used to shop very often, now once per year.

I have always worn white musk and pretty much every time I am asked what I'm wearing as it's a soft scent and very pleasing on the senses... But what has bodyshop done, I ordered a bottle and there's no lasting scent, before it would last all day now it seams to evaporate, I was so disappointed that I took the bottle back, it now states vegan on the bottle but surely all your products are! Why change and interfere with something that was a stand alone perfect product. Very disappointed and won't be purchasing another.

Tried again and again to put in an order but just kept going back to no invoice address even though it was right there. I've used the body shop for years and love there products but the website has always been a nightmare when it comes to paying.

Products are lovely and cruelty free, staff are always so happy to help and friendly. Great selection of products too.

I can’t believe how many bad reviews The Body Shop has received. I will never use any other skin or hair products again. I have had chronic cystic acne for over 5 years. After I began to use The Body Shop Tea Tree squeaky clean scrub I haven’t even had a pimple. The most amazing products I couldn’t give them a high enough rating.

I was a bit sceptical after reading all if the bad reviews, but I am not disappointed. Ordered lots of different things for my sensitive skin and it arrived in 2 days. The products are amazing and really soothe my skin, already looking at what else I can purchase, will definitely be returning.

I can't rave about the body shop skincare products enough. The drops of youth and CBD ranges are incredible, they've transformed my skin! A bit of a wait on delivery but that's expected with Covid.

Ordered online from Body shop for a mothers day gift on Monday the 8th March 2021 . The delivery courier was Hermes with a tracking number from Body shop. The delivery for my postage charge was to be 2-3 working days, so i work out Thurs or Fri for the items to arrive in time for mothering Sunday. Never arrived...so i contacted them and only to be told we received your email and we will get back to you soon, Today the 15TH March (7 Days after ordering) Hermes couriers send an email saying they have now received my goods...what delivery charge am i paying for..3-5 days (or) anytime..because it has taken 7 days for the courier to recieve them when it shouls have already been delivered in 3-5 days as i have already paid for this service. Absolute rip off..plus a poor mothers day as i had received the gifts i had ordered on time. RUBBISH COMPANY..you need to sort out your customers and soon or you will not have any to sell to. Unhappy customer ..soon to be a customer you have lost!!!

I placed an order eight days ago and I’ve only just heard from the delivery company to say that they have just received the item from the body shop.
I will likely receive the item 2 weeks after placing the order.
This isn’t the service I would’ve expected from such a well-established company but now having read the reviews it seems very normal.

Absolutely terrible experience! I bought £25 worth of products online beginning of January... I had a dispatch notification saying on 6th Jan saying my parcel has been handed over to DPD and would be delivered 7th Jan. after multiple communications with DPD, they never actually received my parcel from the body shop! I have contact the body shop multiple times. I was advised it would be looked into and someone will contact me, of course that didn’t happen!
As a well known company, they are happy to rip people off, take their money and then ignore them completely hoping they’d forget! I will never again buy a single product from them either in shop or online!

And I think they just don't care. Their customer service only have online chat, I normally have to wait 20min for customer service to come online. The first time makes the order from them online and will be the last time ever.

I made my order and it arrived after a month... The first package they send out and never arrived, I contacted them twice to ask for a replacement, that was two weeks later I placed my order. They still said, well, that's a new order and another two weeks. I asked if should put my order first as I placed the order a long time ago, the customer service just says, they cannot, because they don't have any contact.

Echo many other reviewers. The website is a horrible thing to use. How is it this bad!? Managed to place an order, which did arrive within a week which was ok. But one £20 product was missing, and another there in its place. Waited over 30 mins on live chat to advise. Even though live chat initially noted response should be within 9 mins, I waited and waited over half hour. Eventually I was looking on a different website and kept checking back every so often. Then no notification when they finally responded. And when I began to write they closed it down as they'd waited 4 minutes while I was elsewhere. Ironically only to send me to a feedback response form! Pretty rubbish around experience.

I have bought a few things from The Body Shop this year and every time they have arrived within a few days and I have always been really pleased with the products. The best is the seaweed gel wash which has been really good at clearing my skin.
